🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 One of the best stays I’ve ever experienced in Lombok! Lombokhouse truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The space was thoughtfully designed — clean, cozy, and peaceful — perfect for resting. There’s also strong Wifi and TV with various channels, Netflix and other entertainment. The location was also ideal: quiet enough to relax, yet close enough to Kuta’s great cafes and beaches. I especially appreciated the attention to detail — from the well-kept rooms to the shared kitchen and communal spaces that made it easy to meet other travelers. But what truly made my stay unforgettable was the host and staff — always kind, helpful, and quick to assist with anything I needed, whether it was arranging transport or sharing local recommendations. If you’re coming to Kuta Lombok and want a stay that’s affordable, stylish, and full of heart — Lombokhouse is the place. Would absolutely come back again!

I had an amazing stay at Bobocabin - truly a unique and thoughtfully designed place with outstanding service. The cabins are incredibly cozy and set in a beautiful location with stunning views of Mount Rinjani. Everything feels modern and seamless: private parking, QR-code access, a mobile app to control lighting, relaxing ambient music, and fast, reliable internet. What made the stay even more special was the staff - incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything. The team went above and beyond: they adapted dinner to our vegan diet, and even kindly stored our belongings while we went on the trek, which we deeply appreciated. It’s also the perfect base for starting a Rinjani hike. And if trekking isn’t your thing, the hotel offers plenty of activities, so you can easily stay for a few days without getting bored. Highly recommended for comfort, nature, and exceptional service.

location: 4.5/5 - not far from the airport. about 40 mins to an hour. secluded. perfect for staying in and spending time and money on the services they provided service: 4.9/5 - the staff are friendly, attentive, helpful all that without being ‘too much’. any requests must be liaised through whatsapp, since they don’t have a phone in the villa, they will reply within 10 minutes. the 0.1 minus was bc i put a special request and they didn’t bother to do it. tried to book a massage appointment last minute too bad they have no availability. food: dinner 5/5 - prices after tax are still very affordable. had steak & frites for less than rm60 (Malaysia could neverrrrr). cocktails selections are good and strong. breakfast 4.5 - wide selections but nothing extraordinary. they have eggs station but the eggs were bland. your normal breakfast buffet spread mix of both asians and western price: a little on the higher side and i’ve spent a fair share of staying in nice resorts around Lombok but no complaints because i know what i wanted

We had such a lovely stay. The hotel and amenities are really nice, great pool & restaurant, clean and comfortable room. The location is a bit far away, but the hotel can help you to arrange motorbike rent to reach the town, which takes about 10-15 min. It's nestled in the mountains which makes it very relaxing though!

For the last few days of my Indonesia trip, to escape the crowds of Bali, I came to Lombok to slow down and recuperate. I stayed one night at the Sheraton in Senggigi, and the service was so attentive, detailed, and thoughtful that it was unforgettable. Arriving at this hotel, there was a huge drop-off in experience right from the moment we walked in. First, it was very unusual for them to take us to our room with our luggage to check-in. They led us to a small room on the second floor in a corner of the backyard. It was so tiny that there wasn't even space to open our suitcases. After completing the formalities, they opened the curtains and told us they were sorry, but there was construction going on at a neighbor's site outside the window, which might be disturbing. I said that wasn't right; I had clearly booked a mountain view or garden view room, which was also larger than this. This was obviously not the room I booked. My husband spent a long time discussing it with the check-in staff, and they agreed to change our room. They showed us a larger room and said we'd have to pay extra, which we didn't accept. We insisted on a room with the same conditions and price as our original booking. We then had to wait in the courtyard for a long time again. Finally, we were moved to a room that was more or less comparable to what we had booked. It felt like there was a clear差別待遇 (differential treatment) between Chinese tourists and Caucasian tourists; if you don't argue your case, you'll be assigned the worst rooms that don't meet booking standards. After that, the service attitude was still acceptable. However, the next day, I asked the housekeeping staff for two extra bottles of water. When I returned to the room, I saw a trash can filled with two bottles of water placed on the bed. I don't know what that meant. I originally wanted to be more eco-friendly and not change the bedding, but now I had no choice but to ask them to change all the linens. The hotel's location is quiet yet convenient. The design style and interior space are quite good, and the breakfast at the restaurant has long serving hours and decent taste. It's not far from the beach, and it's convenient for shopping and dining nearby, but the overall prices are a bit high.

Lovely stay in the main hub of Kuta. Very central location close to shops and hustle bustle. Lovely service and a great team of staff. Extended my stay twice. Would recommend!! Thank you

View: 4.5/5 Villa size: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Maintenance: 2/5 This villa is as big as it looks on their website with amazing view. However, it is quite rundown and needs a refresh, especially the toilet.  The toilet bowl has stains and the overall bathing area are mouldy. I understand we’re in the middle of nature but I would expect better maintenance. Plus the water pressure was low. Maybe it was the rainy season (it rains every evening/overnight), the area is filled with millipedes everywhere, the worst part is that they are in the villa as the doors/sliding doors have gaps. We’re fine if the insects stay outdoors but the millipedes enter our villa every single time and they appear at every creak of the villa. It was tiring trying to keep them out of the villa.  The redeeming factor for the villa is really the view, the Indonesian cuisine at Aura and their prompt service. The view is as amazing as you see on their website, if not more. And they have exceptional food at their restaurant and the service was superb. And yes, there are monkeys in the morning and evenings. The staffs will inform you upon check-in, to lock the doors and avoid eye contact.

This lodge was absolutely gorgeous and had amazing panoramic views from the ocean to the top of Mt. Rinjani. The garden is lush and colorful and full of butterflies, dragonflies and swifts. Staff were very kind to us and the food was generally yummy though somewhat expensive compared to other restaurants nearby. The resort is an easy walk to the nearby waterfalls as well as Rinjani trailhead, but there is not much around the area. Swimming pools were nice. Our showers didn't have much water pressure and we could only get hot water to work in one bathroom. The rooms are nicely designed though and comfortable. The only criticism I have about the dining is that they charged us for waters at meals when the water was free for guests if we just filled up our own bottles. Also, i would suggest that the staff empty out decorative containers that collect water as we saw some mosquito larvae inside them.

Mixed feelings — kind staff but disappointing overall. First of all, a big thank you to the hotel staff, who were genuinely kind and attentive throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the issue isn’t the people — it’s the property itself. The photos online look beautiful, but in reality, the finishes and details just don’t match the pictures. Everything feels a bit cheap and unfinished. For example, the pool area has small sofas but no cushions, so you can’t really relax comfortably by the water. In the rooms, several things were off — cracked flooring, a broken window, missing door handles (you have to lock the door from inside or outside every time), and other small issues that really add up. Considering the price, it’s quite disappointing, especially when there are nicer hotels nearby for less money. We stayed in the Villa Fuego, which, as you can see on Google Maps, is located right next to the road — meaning it’s noisy, with scooters constantly passing by. It completely breaks the idea of a quiet, romantic getaway in a “private villa.” It’s a real shame, because the staff do their best, but the overall experience doesn’t live up to the expectations or the price. Sadly, despite the warm hospitality, we left feeling that this stay was not worth it.

The place is a bit distant from others as it is on top of the hill and the breakfast is a one plate course. Do take note that the jacuzzi doesnt warm up. It’s more of a chill pool However the view is nice, The room is nice, the staff are top. I would most definitely stay here again.
