This is a great hotel! Xiao Huang at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful. We were traveling with a child and silk worms, and she enthusiastically took us to pick mulberry leaves. We also got a free room upgrade, which made the experience even better. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a wide variety of options.

This is one of my favorite hotels! The stay included two hot spring tickets, but the front desk staff, knowing I was traveling alone, thoughtfully swapped one for a breakfast voucher instead. The room was very clean and comfortable, and I really liked the Chinese-style decor. The bed was super comfy, and even the hairdryer was good. They even gave me snacks upon check-in – extra thoughtful! The breakfast buffet was plentiful, a great mix of Chinese and Western dishes. The robot ice cream machine was a fun touch; I had two, and they were delicious. The hot springs were also excellent. I visited at the tail end of a holiday, so it was quiet with fewer people. There's also some lovely scenery nearby. Unfortunately, I only had time to visit Emerald Lake, but it was truly beautiful and put a perfect end to my trip. If any friends come to Suzhou, I'll definitely recommend they stay at this hotel.

The 11 private rooms of the B&B are hidden in the ancient ginkgo forest. In late autumn, it becomes a golden fairy tale world. Although the place is not big, the beautiful scenery created by the ancient ginkgo forest is not comparable to artificial plantations. During the ginkgo viewing period, the dining area is very popular. Fortunately, the inner courtyard accommodation area is only for the guests staying in the hotel, which feels like a paradise. Under the ginkgo tree, enjoy delicious food, make tea, and brew coffee to feel the beauty of life. The B&B service is very good and responsive. The room is spacious, the scenery outside the large floor-to-ceiling windows is pleasant, the bedding is clean and hygienic, and the facilities are complete. There are large free parking spaces at the entrance of the hotel, which is very convenient for self-driving. I hope to improve it. One is that breakfast porridge should be made well, not soaked rice. Another is that the pillow is not very comfortable. Many high-end B&Bs are latex sleeping pillows.

Facilities: Overall, very good. The first floor has a cafe, billiards, arcade games, a swimming pool, a mahjong room, and a karaoke bar—everything you could want is available. Cleanliness: Very clean, much better than I expected for a B&B. It was as clean as a hotel. I didn't even need the disposable bed linen I provided. Environment: Right by Taihu Lake, you can watch the sunset from your bed. You can also order food and coffee from the room by scanning a QR code, which is very convenient. You don't have to leave the room. Service: Very attentive. The housekeeper added me on WeChat the day before. We communicated with any requests in the WeChat group, and the response was quick. Unlike some B&Bs that are fussy, the hostess and housekeeper at this B&B were very generous and kind.

Visited Shangfang Mountain (Suzhou Botanical Garden) and it was definitely worth it. The floral arrangements in the park felt like they were designed by an international horticulture master. Stayed at the Huanshuxiaozhu Resort Hotel, and the overall environment was excellent. Especially grateful to the front desk for upgrading us to a room in the Shanyu Building. After a tiring day sightseeing at Shangfang Mountain, we decided to have dinner at the Chinese restaurant. Unexpectedly, we were thoroughly impressed by the dishes (though if I had to find a fault, it would be that they're a bit pricey, but certainly not the kind that leaves you thirsty afterward).

My partner and I visited Xishan Tingtao Garden, and our overall experience far exceeded our expectations! The guesthouse is in a great location, with a tranquil and peaceful environment that really immerses you in the natural beauty of the mountains and water. The room was meticulously cleaned, and all the facilities were excellent, with every amenity you could need – truly a 'turnkey' experience. The owner was incredibly warm and attentive, always responding promptly to our requests. It's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle, ideal for a short, relaxing getaway for couples. This is definitely our top recommendation for anyone visiting Xishan, and we'll certainly be back!

On the evening of January 14, 2026, we stayed at the Parkview Hotel (Suzhou Taihu Wetland Park Embroidery Street Branch). Upon arrival at the Parkview Hotel, the receptionist, Xiao Liu, greeted us with a smile and provided warm and attentive service, quickly processing our check-in so we could return to our rooms to rest. We were very satisfied with our stay at the Parkview Hotel; the lobby and interior were clean and tidy, and overall, everything was excellent. If I have the opportunity to visit Suzhou Fishing Village again, I will definitely stay at the Parkview Hotel.

Two families stayed with their kids. The environment was quite quiet. It was very comfortable to sit on the balcony and enjoy the breeze. It was a little far away from the street along the lake. I liked the feeling of being away from the crowd. The courtyard was full of flowers and the road was full of loquats. In about 20 days, we will start picking loquats. We stayed for one night due to limited time. Everyone is looking forward to coming again next time.
