The rooms was OK. But the noise coming from other floor or outside the door is annoying. Some travellers are just not considerate. Even in the midnight they can just walk like a T-Rex. When they carrying luggage and dropped it at 4am. And they making noise without hesitate. Other than that this hotel is good to stay. 9 mins walk to metro station. 3 mins to bus stop. 3 mind to convenient stall.

The rooms are quite small, but that's typical for many chain hotels in Japan, not just this one. Despite their size, they have everything you need. Overall, it's pretty good. Check-in and check-out are fully automated and very fast.

The facilities were a dated and could use some tlc with the wall paper, but since my brother smokes, it was good they had a smoking floor. I stayed on the non smoking floor. The location was good as it was in the heart of shinjuku and you could see bars and izakayas in every direction - for people who want to enjoy night life, do stay here.
The best thing about the hotel IMO is the service. I had a package sent to the hotel - precious beef from Gifu which was intended as a gift for my mom. Trip was to blame as the package was returned to the post due to their mistake- the reception is on the third floor but they have it written as the 2nd. (Please take note fellow travellers, if you wish to receive mail, google the actual web page of the hotel and copy it from there as apparently trip is inaccurate.)
The front desk were amazing. I was slow to understand and express my solutions in my poor japanese, but they were so kind and explained what had gone wrong to me so I could understand. They also called and called the post service and multiple times and did their best to reroute it to the nearest location so we could physically pick it up. Originally we were told to go pick it up at 2, but it was out last day in Japan and we needed to fly off earlier than that. The front desk staff (two ladies) did their best to communicate the urgency to the parcel delivery service and ultimately we got our package in time.
I’m so grateful for their kindness even though I was so stressed and anxious, they helped me so much. I hope they see this and know I am truly grateful for all their assistance. As I had to leave earlier- I did not know if it would be successful, my brother had to icollect it on my behalf. I was so relieved when he let me know they pulled it off. This is truly what I love about travelling in Japan. The kindness and service in the hospitality industry is second to none. The truly try very hard to help. Even if we had not gotten the package back, I would still be grateful for their efforts.

This hotel is amazing. The check in is so smooth and easy with their machines that print our room cards for you. The staff are super accommodating and there is alot of them to help you. The desk is 24hr service. The restaurant looks nice but didn't go. The room was not super spacious but was so cool with all the musical equipment touches. The view was absolutely stunning. Facing west, we got to see the sunset perfectly set over the mountains. The bed was SUPER comfortable and so BIG! The hotel is right in the action and super close to Shinjuku station. The laundry service and machines are great. The checkout was also very smooth and easy. They offer a shuttle to and from the airport at certain times. We caught the bus from the hotel to the airport at 3600¥ per person. It was super seamless and made the stress of getting ti the airport/walking through Shinjuku station non existent. Amazing 10/10.

The room was comfortable and clean, and there was a public water dispenser, so there was no need to buy water separately. There was a small supermarket nearby, but the hotel was some distance from the subway station.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Global Hotel Tokyo. For a capsule hotel, it exceeded my expectations in many ways. What I appreciated most was how prompt and efficient the service was. The staff were helpful, quick to respond, and made the whole stay feel smooth and easy. I also found the hotel very clean, which made a big difference and helped me feel comfortable throughout my stay. Another major plus was the location. It was very convenient to the station, so getting around Tokyo was simple and stress-free. That made the hotel an especially practical choice for travelling. Overall, I had a very positive experience here. It was clean, well-managed, and in a great spot. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable capsule hotel in Tokyo.

All the employees we encountered at the hotel are so helpful. From the staffs up to the manager (i guess) are all so attentive and try their best to attend to our requests. Rooms are clean as always, the amenities are complete, they even provide free sleepwear and umbrella (you have to give back after use) this is my 3rd time staying at hotel sunroute plaza shinjuku and it never fails me. This hotel is the one i always book whenever im in tokyo. Keep up the good work!

The Washington Hotel Annex is actually a separate building, with a dedicated landmark on the ground floor of the main hotel. It's easy to find by following the signs. The annex is next to the main building and is considerably quieter. The front desk is on the second floor, where you can check in yourself or with staff assistance. The hotel boasts excellent facilities, an elegant atmosphere, and generously sized rooms with attentive service. The lobby offers complimentary items like facial masks, cosmetics, and toothbrushes, and services such as luggage storage, a laundry room, and microwaves. There's an airport shuttle bus stop right downstairs, but tickets need to be purchased in advance. You can buy them on the first floor of the main building or by scanning a QR code at the bus stop – Alipay and WeChat are not accepted, only cash or bank cards. The hotel is surrounded by numerous restaurants and supermarkets, making it very convenient. It's also very close to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, where you can enjoy a free sunset view from the observation deck in the evening, as well as a beautiful light show. The room lighting isn't very bright, and the bedside lamp takes a while to turn on after pressing the button. The hotel is a bit of a distance from the subway and train stations.

Great
CCyiKen222Perfect for a family of four. It's incredibly convenient to buy groceries from a nearby supermarket and cook them back at the hotel. You can walk just a few minutes to the Shinjuku Washington Hotel to catch the airport shuttle, and it's the same stop for both arrival and departure, which saves a lot of hassle with luggage. You need to pick up toothbrushes, toothpaste, and slippers at the front desk, while tea bags are self-service. This hotel has a lot of international guests. If you're planning to shop, there's a bus stop just a dozen meters to the right of the hotel entrance, which is very convenient. There's a small but delicious sushi restaurant downstairs nearby. Directly across from the airport shuttle stop is a park, perfect for taking the kids out in the morning before the shops open.

Great
GGuest UserThe room was a bit small, but it was well-equipped. The environment felt clean, and there's a lounge downstairs with free coffee and donuts. It's a bit far from the subway station, about an 8-minute walk, but transportation is still quite convenient.

小小mayIt’s hard to find a hotel with a higher price/performance ratio in Tokyo. The room also has a sauna room, the price is right, the quiet soundproofing effect is good, the front desk will not face the guests, and the privacy is very high.

JJocelyn MondaresI just saw this on social media and booked it right away. My trip to Japan was unplanned, so it really resonated with me haha. The hotel staff were very accommodating. Location-wise, it’s near Shinjuku Station. I was also able to make friends with other guests because of their 6 PM free beer. Overall, my stay was an 8/10.

GGuest UserThe location is great, very close to the city center and quiet, with plenty of restaurants nearby.
It's a bit of a shame there's no elevator. The rooms are a bit small but clean!
I recommend staying here if you don't have much luggage.
