Hotels in Shinjuku Area, Tokyo

Overall, it was excellent, especially the cleanliness, service, and facilities. The only drawback was its distance from both JR (Shinjuku Station) and Tokyo Metro subway stations; for example, it took over 20 minutes to walk to JR Shinjuku Station. However, getting to and from the airport was incredibly convenient, as the shuttle pickup/drop-off point for Shinjuku Washington Hotel was just a 2-minute walk away. The room itself was fantastic, a Family Apartment spanning over 40 square meters, very new, and well-designed with ample space. We could easily set aside our shopping for last-minute packing without cluttering the main living area. The bathroom was well-separated, with a dedicated toilet and shower area. The kitchenette was well-equipped with dishes, bowls, plates, pots, and pans, along with a medium-sized refrigerator and microwave, perfect for cooking our own meals or heating up items from convenience stores. There were coin-operated washing machines on the second floor, though we didn't use them. With two elevators, waiting times were minimal. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful, explaining every step during check-in. We were also lucky to get early check-in at 10 AM, which was a huge bonus for anyone arriving in Tokyo early in the morning. If I have the chance to visit Tokyo again, I would definitely stay with Mimaru, perhaps in a different location like Ginza, Ueno, Asakusa, or Ikebukuro.

The hotel location is good, near Shinjuku subway station. The room is a bit small, and breakfast is not provided. The service is pretty good, it's a practical and economical type, and overall, the value for money is decent.

It’s hard to find a hotel with a higher price/performance ratio in Tokyo. The room also has a sauna room, the price is right, the quiet soundproofing effect is good, the front desk will not face the guests, and the privacy is very high.

The rooms and facilities were clean and very comfortable. I would like to use it again.

The room is absolutely beautiful, and I definitely recommend staying at this gem. Do not arrive tired without reading all their messages in advance because that will cause some delay entering the room. It’s very modern/digital entry. What does that is pretty friendly and helpful.

This hostel primarily caters to Western guests, and the residents are predominantly white. If you're in Japan and don't speak Japanese, staying here is great. All the staff are native English speakers, making communication very smooth. The free breakfast is good, a typical Western breakfast. Bread, croissants, etc., and they're quite tasty. There's a bar downstairs. Facilities: The facilities are quite good, with plenty of restrooms and bright washrooms. The showers work very well, and showering is free.
