My stay at KoKo Hotel Shinjuku Yotsuya was excellent! The room was spotless and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel's location is superb, just a 3-minute walk to the subway station, allowing for efficient travel to Shinjuku and other parts of Tokyo. Downstairs, along the street, there are plenty of ramen shops, izakayas, and casual eateries, offering a wide variety of dining options for all three meals. A convenience store is also very close by, making it easy to get around and find food. It's definitely my top choice for a trip to Tokyo.

Every time I visit Tokyo, I stay at this hotel! They even offer a complimentary welcome drink per person upon check-in! The location is truly excellent! It's just a few minutes' walk to Shinjuku and only a few subway stops to Shibuya! In the evenings, when the Ginza malls are closed and quiet, the Kabukicho area near the hotel is bustling with activity, offering plenty of dining, drinking, and entertainment options! My room was a bit small this time; next time, I'll definitely book a deluxe twin. I hope the hotel can upgrade my room if I book again!

I was a bit worried because there weren't many reviews, but this place turned out to be absolutely perfect! The capsule itself was super cozy, and the amenities were well-prepared. Shin-Okubo station really feels like a Korean town – everywhere you look, there are Korean restaurants with Hangeul signs, K-pop is playing in the shops, and there are even photo booths integrated into the Japanese streets. It was such a unique sight to see Korea blended into the Japanese landscape. This great location, combined with the fact that the accommodation had just been renovated and was so clean, really made a huge difference to my trip and made it incredibly enjoyable. I'd definitely love to stay here again on my next visit! 😊

Fantastic location! It's super convenient to get to anywhere in Shinjuku, and the airport limousine bus drops you off right at the hotel's doorstep. There's a convenience store on the first floor, so no need to worry about late arrivals. Both check-in and check-out were fully self-service, no staff needed, and the system had a Chinese interface, so no worries there. I chose a smoking room, and while the window was small, the view directly overlooked the Metropolitan Government Building, which was excellent. I went to Lake Suwa in the middle of my trip for the fireworks festival – what a wonderful experience! Thank you. Next time I come to Tokyo, I think I'll still choose this place. The value for money is just too good!

Nice hotel conveniently located 10 minutes from all of the shopping of Shinjuku. Arrive to a self-check-in machine and just scan your passport or enter your last name to reconfirm your booking details and receive your key. There is a Lawson in the basement for your convenience.

This hotel is really great! It's rare to find a hotel in Japan with a rain shower, so you don't have to shower in the bathtub. The location is excellent, about 450m from Nishi-Shinjuku subway station. It's about a 1km walk to Shinjuku Station, or you can just take the subway from Nishi-Shinjuku. They also provide good quality amenities like Sekkisei and Refa hair dryers. Overall, highly recommended!

An older-style hotel in the center of Shinjuku, and it was quite a unique experience since I had never been in this type of hotel before. Everything was very compact—I honestly felt like I was staying in a small cabin on a ship. I would definitely like to praise the cleanliness of the hotel. Everything was spotless, and I have no complaints in that regard. The bed and pillows, however, were quite firm. I think the hotel could improve the mattresses and pillows to make them more comfortable. Breakfast was served as a buffet. While it was decent, I believe the selection could be improved, as the food was the same every day and lacked variety. One more thing I have to mention is the smell in the hotel lobby near the reception area—it was extremely unpleasant. Many guests seemed to cover their noses and hurry through the lobby because of it. The combination of odors was quite overwhelming and made me feel nauseous.

3 minutes walk from Nishi-Shinjuku Gochome Station! It's close to the station and has great access to sightseeing spots. Within walking distance to Shinjuku. There are offices and restaurants in the surrounding area, and there are many people passing by until night, so you can live with peace of mind.

had a wonderful stay at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku! The location is perfect—right in the heart of Shinjuku, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, convenience stores, and public transportation. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay. Despite being in a busy area, the room was quiet and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo.

My only regret with this hotel is that it became too expensive for us to spend the rest of our trip staying here. The location is absolutely lovely, tucked away in a quintessentially Tokyo alley, the front desk is located on the street but they have a second building tucked away behind it with a quaint Italian restaurant with a cafe feeling to it. The room was perfectly functional, albeit slightly small (par for the course in Tokyo), but considering we paid around $55 US per night (around 8500 Yen at the time of purchase), it really was an absolutely fantastic bang for your buck. Staff had great multilingual skills (not just English from what I overheard). This place was a unicorn hotel. The family mart 2 doors down is also just incredibly convenient for late night cravings. Tons of good food options in the immediate vicinity. Cannot recommend strongly enough.

Perfect for a family of four. It's incredibly convenient to buy groceries from a nearby supermarket and cook them back at the hotel. You can walk just a few minutes to the Shinjuku Washington Hotel to catch the airport shuttle, and it's the same stop for both arrival and departure, which saves a lot of hassle with luggage. You need to pick up toothbrushes, toothpaste, and slippers at the front desk, while tea bags are self-service. This hotel has a lot of international guests. If you're planning to shop, there's a bus stop just a dozen meters to the right of the hotel entrance, which is very convenient. There's a small but delicious sushi restaurant downstairs nearby. Directly across from the airport shuttle stop is a park, perfect for taking the kids out in the morning before the shops open.

The room is absolutely beautiful, and I definitely recommend staying at this gem. Do not arrive tired without reading all their messages in advance because that will cause some delay entering the room. It’s very modern/digital entry. What does that is pretty friendly and helpful.

Nicely-designed boutique hotel with convenient access to different places in Shinjuku. And the value-to-cost is promising where I will definitely visit again with friends if staying around Shinjuku.

It’s hard to find a hotel with a higher price/performance ratio in Tokyo. The room also has a sauna room, the price is right, the quiet soundproofing effect is good, the front desk will not face the guests, and the privacy is very high.

The service was excellent, the host was very considerate, and the room was great. There was a Switch to play, which was quite fun. The living room, kitchen, shower, and toilet are all on the first floor, while the two bedrooms are in the basement. The only downside is that the location of the guesthouse might be in a certain area surrounded by various amenities, like temples. If you don't care about that, it's fine, but I wouldn't recommend it for families with children. Since I took a taxi, I didn't pay attention on the way, and when I went to a convenience store at night without warning, I was genuinely shocked when I came out… Of course, the accommodation is still very good value for money, catering to different budgets.

Great hostel, great and helpful staff, breakfast could be improved/ maybe be a little more local. Of course part of a hostel is sharing with other people and you can't control that. The staff could help by asking people in the breakfast area to move away from the food/ drink while chatting so other people can access. My room had some great people in it, good place to make friends. There're strict rules on talking after 10pm in the rooms which is good however unsure how this can be enforced as the staff aren't there overnight. Several of the people in our room had to repeatedly tell another guest to be quiet as they were talking on the phone or loudly watching videos without headphones at 2am at night. Not the hostel's fault. Overall recommended.
