Zhangjiajie Guiguan Wulingyuan Landmark Gate

The hotel is a 5-8 minute walk from the Wulingyuan National Park entrance, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The staff at the front desk, both the young men and women, were incredibly warm, helpful, and patient. One of the young women even personally walked me to the back of the hotel to show me the way. The hotel itself is spacious, as are the rooms, and the bed was very comfortable. Our room was set back from the main road, making it wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was pretty good; we had two different mornings and didn't see the same items repeated. My only complaint is that some guests returning late at night would talk loudly in the hallway, knock on doors, and play music with their doors open, which was disruptive to others.

The hotel is new and clean, with a large room and a spotless bathroom. Its location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from the East Gate and a 5-minute walk to the Charming Xiangxi Grand Theatre. The room having screens on the windows is a big plus! The only minor drawback is the limited breakfast options. Overall, it's a great hotel.
