Enjoyed my stay ☺️ but there are things to note. - if you’re taking the cab to the hotel. Drop off point likely on 1st floor but check in is @ 21st floor. Location: 👍🏻 - 1st floor access to 洪崖洞 is very convenient. 8-10 mins walk. - head to 22nd floor & you’ll have direct access to 魁星楼. & its walkable distance 10-15 mins to 解放碑 During my stay, desserts are being offered to the guest between 7.30-10pm. The staff will notify you the desserts available via WeChat. Cleanliness wise is good except there is slight old stain on bedsheet but still acceptable as everything else is clean. Room: 👍🏻 - very spacious - separate toilet and shower - most amenities provided (toothbrush, comb, disposable slippers) - shampoo and body wash provided in refillable bottle - big projector screen 👎🏻 - room sound proofing - lift is shared between 2-3 hotels other than fungee so it’s quite slow. Was happy and surprise with surprised gift given by the hotel. ☺️ very friendly staff. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel itself is rather old but it’s put in some effort to renovate. Initial impression of the room was not great but I got used to it after a few nights. Location is superb though plenty of food options nearby and walking distance to some attractions. Rooms are clean but you see stains here and there but I guess it’s forgiveable for its oldness.

Had a lovely 6-nights stay at the hotel, which was at a very strategic location in the heart of the city. Also, the hotel provided delicious noodle options for the daily complimentary breakfast, which could be redeemed at any point of the day. Hotel staff were generally pleasant and we would like to give a special shoutout to the front desk staff No 3, who went all out to help us hail a cab as we had trouble getting one on that Friday night due to the huge crowd and road closure on golden week. Very appreciative of her actions! thank you once again. Would return to this hotel if we visit Chongqing again!

Superb!! I really enjoy our stay here. I did a lot of research and read all the reviews good and bad before I decided to booked this hotel and I did not regret it at all. The room was so nice and it's the same as it show in hotel pictures and the view from our room is really amazing!! Location is very convenient and easy access to all the attractions. The tour agent at the lobby area also give a good suggest and reasonable price. What I love the most is the service here. The receptions and the other staff are very helpful and promptly dealt with our concern. They are very polite and very professional and will do their best to make our stay feel like home. They really play big part of my good impression and I will definitely come back to stay here next time I'm in Chongqing. Thanks for the upgrade and the excellent hospitality! Best Regards,

Location: I want to give 10 stars for it. 八一好吃街 right downstairs. We arrived at around 11-12midnight, the hao chi jie is closed, but can still found nice food as the night market is right opposite. Service: very friendly services. Check in time take a bit longer. We check in on 1st day 11.30pm and check out on 2nd day 8am. They allowed us to leave our luggages as we are coming back to the hotel on the 3rd day night again. Breakfast: Extra breakfast can be purchased at 50% off which is about 29RMB. Many choices and very nice herbal tea egg. Room: Spacious room. We combined both bed as we are family of 4 with 5yo and 1yo. The bed is big enough. No smoking smell is a big thumbs up! Downside : Share lift with another hotel. But not really big deal.

very pleasant stay at ascott, staff were very helpful and our luggage butler Jack Chen was very helpful when we arrived as well when we arrived at almost midnight - its located just above a mall so its very convenient, highly recommended!

What I like 1. Great location, it’s walking distance to Hongyadong and the Jiafangbei shopping area. 2. A Chinese supermarket next door. - I love shopping for Chinese grocery and it’s so convenient here. 3. Clean and bright rooms. 4. Chinese breakfast- simple and I like the food range. 5. The youthful front desk r exceptionally helpful. They helped to book the River cruise and the Pipa hotpot at discounted price from the website. I wild credit the Mr Chan (front desk) for the outstanding help. In all, the service and quality that we had is comparable to the 5 star hotel. We will stay here again at our next trip to ChongQing

Excellent location. Walking distance to everything. Reception is on Level 21 where the dining room, 24h gym and free washing machine/dryer are also located. Washing machine is commercial and does not require you to put laundry powder. Hotel looks new. Breakfast was okay. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was clean. The room size was on the smaller side, so would recommend you take a larger room if required.
