WWangmengyuanHowlThe apartment is right at Exit 1 of Jiaochangkou Station, sharing a building with the subway entrance, which is super convenient. However, for check-in, you initially need to go to the registration hall. There are plenty of food options nearby. Exiting through the main gate of building 1, you'll find the Jiaochangkou night market that's open until 3 AM. Exiting through the main gate of building 3, there are many breakfast places. Cross the traffic lights on Heping Road and walk down a bit to find lots of cheap snacks. The hotel is located directly above Jiaochangkou subway station, a transfer point for lines 1 and 2, making it very easy to get anywhere. Exiting building 1 puts you closer to Line 2, while exiting building 3 puts you closer to Line 1. The room is spacious and very clean, and it even has a washing machine. The auntie (staff member) was incredibly warm and enthusiastic, recommending many attractions and replying to messages even late at night.

AAnonymous Userlovely hostel with a nice cafe nearby (1 coffee is offered as part of the stay). the hostel also has a common room with a small kitchen and a rooftop terrace. it’s super central and the lady running it is super sweet. there is free tea and the owner bakes 4 kinds of bread that you can toast for breakfast. she also made a booklet with restaurant and sightseeing tips.
i had a very good time there, thank you again! :)

CChurNewZealandSolid hostel, but potentially better options? Didn't like how they expected a perfect review before you commit to staying...major dislike, but I was too lazy to find another spot. Easy enough location to find...a bit far from a metro to be perfect but that's alright. Staff were helpful and common room was big, but kitchen was not available which seemed weird.

From the moment I arrived, the staff give best instruction in wecht who demonstrated professionalism, efficiency, and genuine hospitality. The check-in process was smooth and fast, allowing me to settle into my room without any delays after a long journey.
The hotel’s location is absolutely outstanding and incredibly convenient for travelers. In front of Metro.It is situated close to major attractions, shopping areas, restaurants, and public transportation, making it very easy to explore the city. The surrounding area is vibrant yet safe, offering stunning city views, especially at night when the skyline lights up beautifully. Whether you are visiting for leisure, family vacation, or business purposes, the location provides excellent accessibility.
The room exceeded my expectations in every aspect. It was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind. The bed was extremely comfortable, with high-quality linens and pillows that ensured a restful sleep every night. Cleanliness was impeccable — every corner of the room, including the bathroom, was spotless and well maintained. The housekeeping team did a remarkable job of keeping the room fresh, tidy, and well stocked with amenities throughout my stay.
One of the highlights was the breathtaking view from the room. The large windows allowed natural light to fill the space during the day, while at night, the panoramic city view created a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere.
Safety and security at the hotel were also excellent. The hotel maintained strong security measures, and I felt completely safe throughout my stay. This is especially important for travelers visiting the city for the first time.
Overall, this hotel delivers outstanding service, excellent facilities, and superb comfort. The combination of strategic location, beautiful views, cleanliness, and exceptional customer service makes it one of the best accommodation choices in Chongqing. GGuest UserI never expected that I could find such a cost-effective hotel in the dreamy 3D city of Chongqing. If my friends come to Chongqing in the future, they must choose Amway. I chose this hotel, mainly because it is convenient to go everywhere and the transportation is very good. It’s very convenient. It’s very close to the entertainment town. We spent a whole day there, and there were still many fun activities that we haven’t tried yet. When we got back, we ate hot pot downstairs. It was indeed hot in Chongqing, but the taste was genuine. Yes, we also brought Chongqing specialties to friends and colleagues. I really rarely give reviews, so I have to stand up for this. Another point is that the lady at the front desk is really super nice. I can only say that she is beautiful and kind-hearted, so the overall experience is , rush rush rush!

AAnonymous UserExcellent service. Excellent location. Near the BRT (which we took only once). The service apartment is located in a block (that also had another hotel entrance), where the entrance to Fandiao is hidden from the main road. But aside from that, the building is noticeable and is the first tall building just before the viewing deck for the Qiansimen bridge and just before Hongyatong, as traffic flows (one way).
My specific booking for this room was for a Saturday night - a one night extension - and we chose the Hongyatong view, as our original room was already booked. We could see the massive crowds from our window view out there at and around Hongyatong and on the Qiansimen Bridge on the May 1 weekend
But the previous 4 nights, we were booked under my husband's name, and that room allowed us to see the drones show from the comfort of our large and beautiful room. That first room had a wall-to-wall window, that allowed us a view of the river, a block of apartments right in front of us, and some street views. There are pros and cons to different rooms. The drone show is on weekends. If you are not on weekends, the HongYa Tong view is nicer, but only my first room (which was much larger at 40 sq metres) had a long window seat which was lovely.
I share a few photos, one with a view of Hongyatong (this booking, and from the other room, where we could see the drone show. Remember they are different rooms. But you could easily come downstairs and watch the drones from the little corner outside the lobby. There's still a crowd, but you could see the drones rising to the sky.
The customer service was excellent, for some reason, we were first given paper disposable towels in our first room, and I rejected that for cloth towels which were then given to us. The reception is on the 19th floor, and all the service personnel were willing to please (communicate via WeChat, with translation). And always asked if there were things they could do.
Some idiosyncrasies (from a Malaysian view). They have glasses in the room but no cups/mugs for making tea the conventional English way, but the customer service brought cups with handles when we asked for them. No tea or coffee sachets provided but there were bottles of water and soft drinks, which we didn't take. I think it may be the context where soft drinks (in th fridge) were deemed more suitable and glasses were provided more for soft drinks. I had brought some 3-in-1 coffee sachets all the way from home just in case, that seemed providential when we checked in.
Corridors in front of the lifts on the floors are motion sensored, so we were at first surprised by the darkness when the lift opened, but we got used to it. You have to decide whether you support energy efficiency or not. 😂
All in, we had a memorable time in Chongqing, thanks also to Fandiao. I would go and stay again and recommend it. Just bear in mind that the road right in front of the hotel is closed to the traffic at night on weekends (and likely public holidays). Plenty of food nearby, and beautiful spots for photos. There's also a Lawson store across the bridge 100 metres away where we bought our sandwiches, buns, oden, and coffee, for snacks.

GGuest UserWe stayed in Wells Hotel for 5 nights and it was everything we hoped for and more.
Check in was super smooth where the lady on the front desk was super personal and sweet. It took Barely anytime before we were in our room. And wow the view is just something else, especially at night time, I would show a photo but I don’t want to spoil it!
You melt into the beds and the lounge is great too. There is a great bonus with a washing machine where we were provided with some tablets.
If you’re undecided where to stay I couldnt recommend this place enough, there are some superb restaurants within 2 minutes or less of the place.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, close to popular attractions, and very friendly for tourists like us who want to go out and check in. The room is clean and tidy, with no odor at all. The bedding feels very comfortable, and I feel very refreshed after a night's sleep. The bathroom is well separated into dry and wet areas, with plenty of hot water and a stable bath water temperature. The most surprising thing is the view outside the window. When you open the curtains at night, you can see the night view of the city, and the atmosphere is fully maximized.

YYomzzThe location is great! It’s an apartment complex with many amenities including refrigerator, air conditioning, kettle, and room service daily to replenish the reusable items. However, the bed base needs adjusting as the mattress does not quite fit in it so often times you may hurt your knees and legs when coming out of bed.
The refrigerator wasn’t cleaned and the freezer had water settled in it.
The bathroom curtains need to be changed and the bathroom walls cleaned throughly.
The use of the microwave is restricted to when the main office on the floor your on is open.
However, good stay, nice experience that would have been better if the few amenities were cleaned properly.
Lovely view and the set up is good.
TV in the unit didn’t quite work and the warm water control wasn’t very accurate (gave hot boiling water when the tap was set to the center).

SSugata AhadThe room was exceptionally good. We forgot our keys twice and once at 3 AM, but still happily opened the door for us.  really appreciate the receptionist for helping us out. Apart from that the view was extremely good as well. The hotel is located at the very center and all the good restaurants are within walking distance.  some very famous restaurants are also their right across the streets. I have no idea how at this budget. They gave such a good room with such a good location.
