"This stay was absolutely fantastic! The lady at the front desk was so welcoming and enthusiastic. I followed her recommendations for local eateries and they were all delicious, frequented by many locals – much more authentic than anything I could've found online. The room was huge, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering direct views of the Yangtze River and the bridge. The location is super convenient; there are several local noodle shops right downstairs, and it feels like an authentic old residential area, not overly commercialized. I hope this wonderful hotel continues to thrive!"

"Absolutely loved it! Right in the heart of Yuzhong, directly opposite Raffles City. Stepping out, you're right in the commercial district and by the metro. But the absolute best part is the high-altitude view!! The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a direct view of the confluence of the two rivers, and the entire Yuzhong Peninsula's night view is breathtaking. The hotel overall has a simple yet luxurious style. The whole room is smart-controlled, and the attention to detail is incredibly thoughtful. "Choosing to stay at Xiahaoli was such a smart decision! The room was clean, and being right in the scenic area made everything so convenient. At night, there was live music from the bars, the soothing sound of the stream, and a lively buzz of people. In the morning, all that remained were birdsongs and fresh air. It was really pleasant to find such peace and quiet amidst the hustle and bustle. Getting around was also super easy, with the Shangxinjie Station on Metro Line 6 very close by, so we could go anywhere we wanted."

"We stayed at this hotel for a few nights and didn’t regret it at all. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. We had a full balcony with a stunning view of the river and surrounding skyscrapers — it was completely worth it. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. There were two large separate beds, and the bathroom was spacious, which was a big plus. The beds were soft and very comfortable, and housekeeping kept everything spotless throughout our stay. All essential toiletries were also provided. I would definitely recommend this hotel. There is also a lobby area where you can access a shared balcony and enjoy panoramic views from different sides of the skyscraper. The hotel itself is located on the 38th floor, which makes the experience even more special."

TTaiyangwenquandanThe room was fantastic, with a strong Chinese aesthetic. Most of the furniture and facilities were made of wood, which was very comfortable. There was even a mahjong table, though we couldn't gather enough people to play, haha! The bed was very comfortable. Upon check-in, we also received a complimentary enhanced hot spring experience. We chose lavender, and to our surprise, it was freshly brewed, which was a lovely surprise. After checking out, I left my power bank in the room, and it wasn't convenient to arrange a courier. Our butler, Xiaoya, brought it to us the next morning, for which I'm extremely grateful. Both the check-in and check-out services were excellent. When we left, we didn't even need to go to the front desk to check out, but the butler still chased us out from the front desk to say goodbye, ask about our stay, and see us off. Although breakfast for two was included when we booked the room, we didn't wake up in time. I'll definitely try it next time I visit!

PpogbackMy stay in an executive room during this Chongqing trip was absolutely flawless from start to finish. It offered an unparalleled experience, making it an excellent choice for a holiday or extended stay in Chongqing. Everything far exceeded my expectations, providing comfort and a sense of calm throughout. What truly impressed and won me over was the Regent Hotel's meticulous and thoughtful service, easily making it the benchmark for high-end hotel service in Chongqing. From the moment I arrived for check-in, the staff were professional, gentle, and impeccably polite. The doorman warmly greeted me, assisted with parking and luggage, and handled everything with gracious humility. The front desk check-in process was efficient and quick, with staff patiently explaining hotel facilities, guest benefits, and local sightseeing tips. The communication felt natural and comfortable. Throughout my stay, the entire team maintained a high standard of service, responding promptly and thoroughly. Room cleaning was meticulous and attentive, with amenities, mini-bar drinks, and local snacks replenished daily. The room was spotless, tidy, and pleasantly fragrant. All requests were handled quickly and appropriately, with attentive service that wasn't intrusive, perfectly embodying the quality of a top-tier luxury hotel. I felt completely at ease and comfortable the entire time. My executive room had an exceptional overall feel, with an open and airy layout and a spacious ambiance. The decor blended elegant Chinese aesthetics with modern minimalist luxury design, creating a sophisticated yet warm atmosphere. The layout was well-designed, and the soft furnishings were exquisite. The warm lighting created a soothing ambiance. The room's soundproofing was excellent, ensuring quiet and privacy, leading to superb rest. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered unrivaled views of the confluence of the two rivers and the Yuzhong Peninsula cityscape. Whether relaxing or soaking in the tub, I could enjoy the riverside view, immersing myself in the mountainous city's scenery. The bedding was soft, skin-friendly, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom featured a dry/wet separation, and premium toiletries were well-stocked. The executive room's exclusive mini-bar was refreshed daily with complimentary drinks and snacks. Various thoughtful daily essentials were perfectly provided, with attention to every detail, making for a luxurious and pleasant living experience. The dining experience was equally outstanding, with dishes that excelled in color, aroma, and taste, balancing both quality and flavor. The hotel offered a rich selection of meals, catering to both local Chongqing flavors and exquisite Western cuisine. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of fresh ingredients, including regular Western pastries, hot dishes, congee, and fresh fruit drinks, as well as authentic Chongqing noodles and pea and meat sauce noodles, full of local character. Executive room guests also enjoyed exclusive executive lounge benefits, including breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening happy hour. The food was exquisitely prepared and diverse, in a quiet, less crowded setting, offering greater privacy and a full sense of exclusive treatment. Additionally, the hotel's main dining options, specialty hotpot, and the Two Rivers Bar on the 7th floor are all worth experiencing. The ingredients are premium, and the cooking is done with care. The Two Rivers Bar boasts a prime view of the river at night, offering a double delight for both sight and taste with the evening breeze and delicious food. The hotel's public facilities were comprehensive and well-maintained. The high-altitude heated swimming pool was quiet and uncrowded, allowing me to swim while enjoying river views. The gym had professional and well-equipped machinery to meet daily workout needs. The spa and relaxation areas were well-appointed, perfect for unwinding after a tiring journey. The public areas exuded elegant style, with a sophisticated fragrance, creating a tranquil and refined environment where every snapshot looked like a professional photograph. Overall, my impression of the stay was that Regent Chongqing enjoys a prime location with unparalleled views of the two rivers, complemented by impeccable, thoughtful service, excellent dining, a high-quality executive room environment, and comprehensive facilities. Everything was executed to perfection. With the added executive privileges, the overall value for money and comfort were significantly enhanced, creating a tranquil and luxurious sanctuary in the bustling mountain city. Next time I visit Chongqing, Regent Chongqing will still be my top choice, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to friends traveling or vacationing in Chongqing. It's truly worth revisiting.

GGuest UserThe hygiene, environment, and facilities are all great, and it's not far from Happy Valley. The room design and color scheme are also decent. The only regrettable thing is that the swimming pool was closed during the Chinese New Year. My kids were really looking forward to swimming, so they were quite disappointed.

GGuest UserI chose the wrong dates before my trip. I tried to cancel my order within ten minutes of submitting it, but it only showed as a failed cancellation the next day. After several attempts, the hotel still refused to cancel. After much hassle, I finally checked into the hotel. Spending nearly 10,000 on two rooms for two nights, I really didn't feel I received service commensurate with that price. The front desk staff seemed to look down on guests, and the room's cleanliness was terrible – corners were full of grime and standing water. The room facilities were very basic and small. The only advantages were the location and the view from the window. The welcome fruit consisted of just four oranges, which was a huge contrast to the thoughtful service I've received at hotels costing a hundred yuan. It took two calls to get someone to answer the service line in the room. They didn't have latex pillows, and even the memory foam pillows were all taken. For a five-star hotel, it really fell far short of expectations. The value for money was extremely poor, and I had to go all the way down to the LG floor to pick up takeout, requiring two elevator changes, which was incredibly inconvenient! Thinking about it now, it was just an awful experience.

XXingyunhengStaying at the Intercontinental Hotel in Chongqing's Jiefangbei was one of the most satisfying hotel experiences I've had; the overall experience was truly delightful. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, situated on Minquan Road, right next to a subway entrance. It's about a five-minute walk to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street and Bayi Food Street, and just over ten minutes to Hongyadong. It's perfect for both getting around and enjoying local food and drinks. What truly impressed me was the hotel's overall design and spatial planning. From the exterior to the lobby, everything exudes grandeur and a clear sense of quality. Upon entering the room, you immediately feel it's a meticulously crafted space – it combines the clean lines of modern design with the comfort needed for both business and leisure, avoiding the monotonous and rigid feel of traditional business hotels. The overall ambiance is very relaxing and aesthetically pleasing. The room layout and attention to detail were also spot-on. The wet and dry areas are well-separated, and the flow is clear and user-friendly. Although the window in our room wasn't particularly large, the ventilation was excellent, and the air felt fresh. Air fresheners were placed at every corner of the corridors, and the carpet was soft and clean. From the public areas to the room itself, you could feel the hotel's dedication to creating a pleasant environment. There were several design details I particularly liked: Next to the sofa, there was a round table, perfect for children doing homework or adults reading and working. The bedside tables on either side of the bed were artistic – one round, the other shaped like a water droplet – both stylish and practical. The tabletop material was excellent; spills wiped clean with ease. The water dispenser, mini-fridge, and coffee/tea setup were also thoughtfully arranged, giving off a five-star quality vibe. Additionally, the TV in the room was huge; my kids even said it was the biggest they'd ever seen in a hotel, making for a fantastic viewing experience – a pleasant surprise. Now, let's talk about the service experience, which was a huge plus for me. Upon check-in, a personal butler was assigned to me via WeChat to follow up throughout my stay. I must give a special shout-out to my butler, Peanut. Throughout my stay, she was incredibly proactive and meticulous, responding to almost every request immediately. Her communication was natural and comfortable, making me feel truly cared for and professional. This feeling of being genuinely looked after is rare and a significant reason why this hotel left such a deep impression on me. The hotel's dining options were also outstanding, and I have to highlight them. First, the breakfast buffet – I'd say it was one of the most satisfying parts of my stay. If 10 is a perfect score, I'd give it an unhesitating 10. The variety was extensive, with both Chinese and Western options. Salads and fruits are standard, but what made it even better was the freshly prepared Chinese breakfast items, like Chongqing noodles, which tasted authentic and were of high quality. It was a very enjoyable meal. From the food quality to the service, the overall standard was very high, with great attention to detail. It truly was so good that it's hard to describe it all (I also took pictures, which you can refer to). Additionally, the afternoon tea offered daily from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM was a major highlight. Cakes, fruits, salads, pastries, coffee, and milk were all available and exquisitely presented. In other hotels or cafes, afternoon tea of this quality would typically cost over 100 yuan, but here it's priced at only 58 yuan and given complimentary to guests. It truly shows sincerity and generosity. Another thoughtful detail was the bedtime milk service. Every evening, the butler would ask for a preferred time and deliver warm milk to the room, a small cup for each person. This attention to detail was perfect; after drinking it, I felt completely relaxed, and my sleep was more restful. This was a real bonus. Furthermore, the hotel's third floor features a well-equipped gym and laundry room, which was another pleasant surprise. The laundry room itself was spacious and well-organized, one of the best hotel laundry facilities I've ever experienced. Washing machines, dryers, sinks, and ironing boards were all available, and even details like laundry detergent and laundry bags were thoughtfully provided. The entire process, from washing and drying to organizing and storing clothes, had a clear flow, making it very convenient to use. These details demonstrate the hotel's dedication to functional guest experience (I also took photos, which you can refer to). It's also very kid-friendly. On the first floor, you can get free Haagen-Dazs ice cream and freshly made cotton candy, which made the kids incredibly happy. Moreover, the hotel's 12th floor boasts a terrace, pool, and observation area. In the evenings (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM), there are holiday-themed music events, creating a great atmosphere perfect for relaxation. Overall, this hotel excels in design, service, dining, and detailed guest experience. It was a truly delightful stay. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Chongqing and highly recommend it to everyone.

AAnonymous UserThe room was quite spacious overall. On the first night, I tried a Chinese sweet soup that was mild and delicious, making me feel very comfortable. Many might think the location isn't very convenient, but getting around is actually quite easy; you can just call a ride-hailing service. The hotel is directly connected to an expressway nearby, so there's no waiting at traffic lights, and the ride is smooth, making travel quite efficient. The hotel's gym and pool facilities are excellent, and the space was a bit larger than expected, perfectly adequate for daily use. I had breakfast here for three consecutive days, and the variety of food was quite rich, generally satisfying different tastes. The overall dining experience was decent. You can also explore the surrounding area; it's mostly residential, and you can experience the authentic Chongqing local life among the streets and slopes – simple and full of local character. Overall, the hotel has complete facilities, normal service, and a quiet, comfortable environment with no obvious inconveniences. This stay was generally smooth, with an experience that was moderately good. It not only met my accommodation needs but also allowed me to feel the real daily atmosphere of this mountain city, making it a very satisfactory stay.

CciceliThe location is fantastic, right in the heart of the business district, within walking distance to the cable car and Jiefangbei. The lobby is on the 51st floor, guest rooms are on other floors, and the restaurant is on the 50th, which often led to me getting the floors mixed up. The rooms are spacious and very quiet. Breakfast offers a great variety, but no staff member proactively offered tea or coffee. The rooftop infinity pool isn't for swimming; the water and the pool itself weren't very clean. You can buy an afternoon tea set to take photos, but you can still take pictures without buying it, and the views from that floor are nice. I would choose to stay at The Westin again next time I visit Chongqing.

YYoYo_0S9O2D1NkankanshijieThe front desk service was excellent; the staff, all dressed in suits and white shirts, were incredibly polite. Even the cleaning staff would politely greet you, which made for a very comfortable experience. The breakfast was also very generous. Laundry and drying facilities were always available without any wait, which was a nice touch. The building itself is grand, with high floors offering great views, especially pleasant at night. The soundproofing is excellent too; the heavy doors and soundproof strips mean you can't hear any noise from next door. They also provide a complimentary large fruit platter, a free minibar, and many free beverages. I particularly liked that the bed area, a more private space, isn't visible immediately upon entering the room – a very well-thought-out design. 👍👍👍 Hygiene: The cleanliness was exceptional. I checked several nooks and crannies, and there was no dust, which was very impressive. Environment: The environment was also fantastic. The hallways felt private and quiet. The high floor offered expansive views and good natural light, which was a big plus. Facilities: The lobby manager mentioned that the hotel was only renovated this year, and staying in a new hotel and new rooms was very comfortable. The overall quality is definitely top-notch. 👍👍👍

GGuest UserI highly recommend the Le Méridien Chongqing, Nanchuan! It's located right in the Nanchuan Wanda business district, next to Line 3's Gongmao Station, making it super convenient to get to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. Plus, there's a one-stop shop for food and shopping right downstairs. As expected from a Marriott property, the quality is top-notch. The lobby has high ceilings and a strong artistic vibe, and the spiral staircase is fantastic for photos. The rooms are spacious and bright with separate wet and dry areas, and the amenities are premium. The high-floor rooms offer expansive views and stunning nightscapes. Sara and Daisy provided incredibly thoughtful and attentive service – always smiling, enthusiastic, and quick to respond. The breakfast spread was excellent, a rich mix of Western and Chinese options, making for a perfect experience. It's ideal for both business trips and leisure travel. I was extremely satisfied with my stay!
