As a frequent guest at your hotel, every time I step into the lobby, what I look forward to most is seeing the familiar and warm smile of Kathy at the front desk. She's practically an old friend now – I don't even need to say much; she always remembers my preference for a quiet, high-floor room and has my key card ready in advance. The check-in process is always efficient and smooth, and she'll greet me like an old friend, asking things like, ”How many days are you staying in Chongqing this time?” or ”Did you try that restaurant I recommended last time?” That perfect level of familiarity makes me feel at ease. Kathy's thoughtfulness is also hidden in the details: she notices my flight schedule and proactively offers a late check-out. If she sees I have sports gear, she thoughtfully lets me know when the gym is least crowded. This feeling of 'being remembered' adds a touch of warmth to what could otherwise be a cold business trip. She never slacks off just because I'm a regular; instead, she shows even more meticulous care, turning every encounter into a warm 'reunion.' Thank you, Kathy – this is precisely why I always choose to stay here. It's because of people like her that you want to keep coming back.

Overall, a beautiful hotel, on a great position. Modern, bright and innovative room design, a bit small, but charming reception area. Chaotianmen view corner room is a blast! One of the most amazing views one can imagine, especially at night. Free ice cream for the in house guests by the reception :-) Beautiful breakfast/all day dining room, with equaly superb views. Breakfast is fresh, with plenty of choice (slightly less adjusted to the Western taste, but still fine). The staff is curteous and hard working, but still lacks a bit of training/skills - no proactive communication during breakfast, i.e. offering coffee or anything really, just picking up plates (it is a new hotel, so one should not be too harsh...they will get there on time). Very affordable minibar (free on the day of arrival) and room service (the food is ok, but lacks in presentation and served basic style....just a couple of plates thrown on the table...no trolley, no tablecloth, napkins...) The pool looks nice, but it is not operated by the hotel...some kids learning how to swim while we were there so not sure whether they have it open for the outside guests (kids swimming school?). Something that should be monitored by the hotel in the future - for the guest, the pool is considered a part of the hotel experience, so a high service and cleanliness level is expected as a norm. Minor negatives, still something to consider in the future: two days before checkout I've been texted by a member of staff to deposit another 1k RMB (after depositing 10k already) since my total expense has exceeded the initial deposit. Never happened to me before and never should have happened in the first place. One might even feel offended by such request (like I would run away without paying the rest of my bill or something...I guess, spending more should be a plus, no?). Also, at the end, I was asked to write a 5 star review and received a fully prepared review text by Wechat, which I was supposed to simply copy/paste. Well, initially we laughed about it, but one might find it a bit condesending, no? Anyways, these small glitches are not of utmost importance. I have already decided to give them 5 star, since it is a brand new place, with huge potential and enough room for improvement to perfection. We really had a great time in Chongqing and our hotel experience was in general a pleasant one. I would certainly stay there again. The negative remarks shoul simply be taken as a guideline for improvement, not something I would seriously hold against this charming establishment.

Located in the heart of Jiefangbei, this hotel offers incredibly convenient access to shopping and attractions, with Hongyadong and the pedestrian street just a short walk away. Unlike typical hotels, the apartment-style rooms are generously sized and feature a separate living room, a full set of kitchen appliances, and a washer-dryer, making them ideal for business travelers staying for several days. The public areas include a gym and a heated swimming pool, and the breakfast selection is comprehensive. The overall decor leans towards a simple, homey style, though some areas show signs of wear and tear. Service response times are average; if you're looking for a top-tier hotel service experience, you might want to consider other options. However, for travelers who value spacious living areas, the ability to cook simple meals, and self-service laundry, this is definitely worth considering.

The guest relations team really made our stay exceptional, and I have to give a special shout-out to Xiao Su!!! From the initial communication before check-in to the thoughtful early room arrangement and contact on the day, everything was handled meticulously and perfectly. Her replies were lively, fun, and patient, and you could genuinely feel that she was thinking from the guest's perspective. The service was so warm, with absolutely no rigid, procedural feel to it. A big thank you to Xiao Su once again!!! I also want to thank Xiao Yi, Xiao Luo, and Xiao Min for their professional care. The entire team was on point, making our vacation experience truly complete! The hotel is located in a landmark building in Chongqing, and what impressed me most were the stunning high-altitude views, the incredibly designed crystal skybridge, and the impressive lounge. The crystal skybridge has a beautiful ambiance, with large glass curtain walls and lush greenery, creating an aerial oasis. The lounge's afternoon tea featured solid quality desserts, scones, and sandwiches. The late-night à la carte menu changes daily, and the conch dumplings and dandan noodles were particularly memorable. The lounge breakfast, a rare find in China, offers a semi-buffet paired with an à la carte menu, and the food quality was absolutely amazing. The lounge's offerings are incredibly friendly for those who can't quite handle the spiciness found outside in Chongqing! All in all, InterContinental Chongqing Raffles City is definitely a hotel I would return to! Our whole family found this trip unforgettable.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, both within walking distance. The hotel staff were also very attentive and helpful, proactively assisting with luggage and greeting us warmly. Originally, only the first night included complimentary minibar service, but the hotel provided it for our entire stay, which was a thoughtful touch! A special mention goes to the hotel's drop-off service. Due to a personal issue, the driver had to wait an extra 10 minutes, and we sincerely apologize to both the hotel and the driver for the delay. We tried to offer the driver a compensation for the wait, but he firmly refused. We are truly grateful for the high-quality service provided by both the hotel and the driver. We will definitely stay at the Hanwen Hotel again next time; this stay gave us a truly wonderful experience.

This hotel is conveniently located near Guanyin Bridge, making transportation a breeze. While it's not the newest hotel, the room facilities are still quite good. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the breakfast spread is excellent. The staff are all incredibly warm and attentive, especially Jackie and Bella, who really made us feel right at home.

The conditions here are excellent. The room is very spacious and comfortable, with three windows on two sides. They provide so much complimentary bottled water that I couldn't even finish it all, and they thoughtfully placed two bottles in the fridge. The bathroom, shower, and sink are all separate, which is very convenient to use. The bedding is clean and hygienic, soft and skin-friendly. The mattress is soft and thick. Overall, the service was also very satisfying.

Traveling with my dog to Chongqing, I stayed at the Westin Jiefangbei. Its prime location in the heart of Jiefangbei made shopping and getting around incredibly convenient. The high-altitude panoramic views were stunning. As a pet-friendly hotel, the check-in process for my pet was smooth after prior communication. The room was well-maintained, and having an underground parking lot was a huge plus for self-driving. The breakfast offered a rich variety, including local Chongqing specialties. The guest ambassador was very responsive and handled requests efficiently. My only minor disappointment was the lack of luggage assistance upon arrival, which was a slight deviation from the brand's expected service. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely consider returning to this hotel on my next trip to Chongqing.

My stay at Le Méridien Chongqing Nan'an exceeded expectations. The hotel's design has a modern artistic feel, and the Rubik's Cube installation in the lobby is quite unique. Freya, a staff member, provided polite and prompt service. The room was spacious and very clean, all the facilities worked perfectly, and the bathroom amenities were of good quality. The location is excellent, right next to Nanping Wanda Plaza, offering a wide variety of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. Despite being in a bustling area, the hotel is quiet and peaceful, providing a stable resting environment. I highly recommend it to everyone; it offers incredible value for money.

This stay was absolutely wonderful! The apartment's location is superb, offering beautiful river views, and getting to major attractions is incredibly convenient. The front desk staff were polite and thoughtful, even proactively offering us a free room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. The breakfast was plentiful, and the room was cleaned daily. The hotel has an underground garage with free parking. After checking out, we accidentally left a power bank in the room, and the staff promptly called us to let us know they found it and kept it safe for us. The room was comfortable, and the service was warm and responsible. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Chongqing!
