Perfect
TTristan…Overall, it was quite good. Although the hotel staff were mostly locals from Nanchuan, these aunties provided excellent service with a genuine and heartfelt desire to offer their best. The hotel has exclusive access to the Wolongtan Scenic Area, inaccessible to non-hotel guests. They have created hiking and stream trails. The hiking trail took an hour and a half round trip, with supplies available along the way. There's a pavilion at the summit, where the cool breeze was incredibly refreshing and pleasant. The stream trail was currently under renovation and expansion, so we couldn't hike it, which was a bit of a disappointment. The hotel's main room type, the Stream View Room, overlooks the babbling brook, offering a tranquil and serene atmosphere. Sitting on the terrace with your eyes closed, you feel a sense of harmony with nature. This room type was also the most popular and highly recommended. With only 18 rooms and carefully selected room rates, the entire hotel is very quiet, and the guests are generally well-mannered, making it a great place for rest. The hotel's dining was excellent, offering local dishes, hot pot, and teppanyaki. We had teppanyaki for dinner on our first night; it featured shrimp heads, soup tails, and interspersed with beef, lamb, chicken, and foie gras – all delicious and generously portioned. At 500 yuan per person, it was great value for money. The hotel's public areas were also very upscale, with excellent feng shui. Staff would wait for guests and greet them whenever they entered or left their rooms. On check-out day, a staff member stood at the entrance, bowing respectfully even after our car had driven away – a rare sight in China. My streamside room had a well-proportioned layout, similar to the main room types at Aman Tokyo. The soaking tub area was a highlight; the herbal bath with mugwort and other herbs was soothing and conducive to sleep. That evening, a particularly memorable moment occurred. In the early morning, I sat on the room's terrace playing games with friends. The valley winds were unpredictable; I was wearing a bathrobe and wrapped in a blanket, sitting in a rocking chair, intensely playing a game on the battlefield. The howling wind perfectly complemented the scene, making it an unforgettable experience. The overall stay was very good, but perhaps to ensure absolute privacy for each guest, the hotel had quite a few restrictions, which were rather strict. I remember walking through an area and seeing a room that was unoccupied that day. I asked if I could see it, but was firmly refused, which I understood but couldn't accept. Nevertheless, overall, the flaws didn't outweigh the merits, and I would come again.

PpogbackMy stay in an executive room during this Chongqing trip was absolutely flawless from start to finish. It offered an unparalleled experience, making it an excellent choice for a holiday or extended stay in Chongqing. Everything far exceeded my expectations, providing comfort and a sense of calm throughout. What truly impressed and won me over was the Regent Hotel's meticulous and thoughtful service, easily making it the benchmark for high-end hotel service in Chongqing. From the moment I arrived for check-in, the staff were professional, gentle, and impeccably polite. The doorman warmly greeted me, assisted with parking and luggage, and handled everything with gracious humility. The front desk check-in process was efficient and quick, with staff patiently explaining hotel facilities, guest benefits, and local sightseeing tips. The communication felt natural and comfortable. Throughout my stay, the entire team maintained a high standard of service, responding promptly and thoroughly. Room cleaning was meticulous and attentive, with amenities, mini-bar drinks, and local snacks replenished daily. The room was spotless, tidy, and pleasantly fragrant. All requests were handled quickly and appropriately, with attentive service that wasn't intrusive, perfectly embodying the quality of a top-tier luxury hotel. I felt completely at ease and comfortable the entire time. My executive room had an exceptional overall feel, with an open and airy layout and a spacious ambiance. The decor blended elegant Chinese aesthetics with modern minimalist luxury design, creating a sophisticated yet warm atmosphere. The layout was well-designed, and the soft furnishings were exquisite. The warm lighting created a soothing ambiance. The room's soundproofing was excellent, ensuring quiet and privacy, leading to superb rest. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered unrivaled views of the confluence of the two rivers and the Yuzhong Peninsula cityscape. Whether relaxing or soaking in the tub, I could enjoy the riverside view, immersing myself in the mountainous city's scenery. The bedding was soft, skin-friendly, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom featured a dry/wet separation, and premium toiletries were well-stocked. The executive room's exclusive mini-bar was refreshed daily with complimentary drinks and snacks. Various thoughtful daily essentials were perfectly provided, with attention to every detail, making for a luxurious and pleasant living experience. The dining experience was equally outstanding, with dishes that excelled in color, aroma, and taste, balancing both quality and flavor. The hotel offered a rich selection of meals, catering to both local Chongqing flavors and exquisite Western cuisine. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of fresh ingredients, including regular Western pastries, hot dishes, congee, and fresh fruit drinks, as well as authentic Chongqing noodles and pea and meat sauce noodles, full of local character. Executive room guests also enjoyed exclusive executive lounge benefits, including breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening happy hour. The food was exquisitely prepared and diverse, in a quiet, less crowded setting, offering greater privacy and a full sense of exclusive treatment. Additionally, the hotel's main dining options, specialty hotpot, and the Two Rivers Bar on the 7th floor are all worth experiencing. The ingredients are premium, and the cooking is done with care. The Two Rivers Bar boasts a prime view of the river at night, offering a double delight for both sight and taste with the evening breeze and delicious food. The hotel's public facilities were comprehensive and well-maintained. The high-altitude heated swimming pool was quiet and uncrowded, allowing me to swim while enjoying river views. The gym had professional and well-equipped machinery to meet daily workout needs. The spa and relaxation areas were well-appointed, perfect for unwinding after a tiring journey. The public areas exuded elegant style, with a sophisticated fragrance, creating a tranquil and refined environment where every snapshot looked like a professional photograph. Overall, my impression of the stay was that Regent Chongqing enjoys a prime location with unparalleled views of the two rivers, complemented by impeccable, thoughtful service, excellent dining, a high-quality executive room environment, and comprehensive facilities. Everything was executed to perfection. With the added executive privileges, the overall value for money and comfort were significantly enhanced, creating a tranquil and luxurious sanctuary in the bustling mountain city. Next time I visit Chongqing, Regent Chongqing will still be my top choice, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to friends traveling or vacationing in Chongqing. It's truly worth revisiting.

GGuest UserThe hygiene, environment, and facilities are all great, and it's not far from Happy Valley. The room design and color scheme are also decent. The only regrettable thing is that the swimming pool was closed during the Chinese New Year. My kids were really looking forward to swimming, so they were quite disappointed.

ZZuihuasuPerhaps it's because I studied at the most authoritative university program concerning Chongqing's history, but I've always been intensely curious about buildings with historical significance, especially hotels that have transformed from them. Whether I'm sitting on the sofa or lying in bed in my room, I can't help but imagine the stories that once unfolded here. While every space, given enough time, surely holds a fascinating past, spaces with explicit historical information make these fantasies more concrete, or less ambiguous, by narrowing the scope of imagination. I recall a story about an elderly French woman in the last century who came to the French Navy Barracks on Chongqing's Nanbin Road to search for her birthplace. The Ren'ai Hall, built in 1902 by the French Catholic Church, served as both a church and a hospital. During the Anti-Japanese War, it sheltered abandoned infants, earning it the nickname 'Orphanage' among older Chongqing residents. Where did the children born or raised at Ren'ai Hall go? Did any try to return and explore their past? What did they discover? These imagined scenarios could form a novel, and with a large enough sample size, they might even be true historical events. Regardless, the current Ren'ai Hall, both in terms of its guests' physical and mental state and the hotel's physical space, feels far more relaxed and peaceful than it did in the past. After booking the room, several concierges were responsible throughout the entire process. The whole arrangement was very meticulous, and thanks to these arrangements, I personally had no questions that I needed to proactively ask during my entire stay. Before check-in, the concierge would inform me of the exact drop-off points for various transportation methods, and upon arrival, staff members were there to greet me. If I had a lot of luggage, even more staff would assist. The concierge also pre-booked a travel photography team. Teacher Zihao from Zixuan Photography, who handled our travel shoot, was very professional, both in his understanding of light and his ability to capture fleeting moments. A tip for friends who plan to do their own hair and makeup before the shoot: pay close attention to the final effect (the photography team has their own hair and makeup artists who can do it at the hotel, but due to time constraints, I did my own before check-in). It was my first time getting professional makeup, and I had no experience, so the result was so drastic I barely recognized myself, which unfortunately wasted many good photos. The afternoon tea was unremarkable, but whether it was breakfast, afternoon tea, or the evening sweet soup, a concierge could deliver it to the room. As for the room's interior design and the hotel's scenic views, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. (P.S.: Luckily, my room was upgraded to the Qiongyu Fanhua Suite, which I heard is the same one a certain celebrity stayed in.)

JJing NTC908The room was clean and tidy, and housekeeping came daily to clean and replenish toiletries. The breakfast was decent and hygienic. The lobby is on the 11th floor of the building. When taking the elevator up from B1, there was a concierge to help with luggage. The hotel's location is excellent, comparable to Beijing's Wangfujing. There are convenience stores like Lawson nearby, and the Darong City shopping mall next door offers plenty of dining options. It's about a 20-30 minute taxi ride to Chaotianmen and Hongyadong, and the taxi fare isn't expensive.

GGuest UserMy stay here was exceptionally comfortable. The hotel's location is super convenient, making it easy to get around by taxi or subway. The lobby is elegant and spotless, and Jennifer, a staff member, provided warm and thoughtful service. The front desk was efficient for both check-in and check-out, and the staff were friendly and polite. The bathroom facilities were complete and functioned well, with a stable hot water supply. The soundproofing in the room was also excellent. All the amenities needed for a trip were perfectly in place, and overall, it offered outstanding value for money. I'll definitely prioritize staying at this hotel again on my next trip!

GGuest UserThe Banyan Tree Chongqing Beibei is located right within the Old North Hot Spring Park, a place famous for its 'Ba Mountains Night Rain' and as the 'Homeland of Hot Springs.' It's a must-visit, especially for the ancient North Hot Springs, which is surrounded by lush greenery and a thousand-year-old hot spring temple. It offers a very serene and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and clearing your mind. The private hot spring on the room's balcony is incredibly comfortable and great for alleviating fatigue. Owen provided exceptional service. The hotel's design is very distinctive, with every room offering views of the Jialing River.

GGuest UserI just checked into this hotel, which opened last year, and the experience was absolutely amazing! First off, the location gets full marks – it's right in the heart of the city center. You step downstairs and you're in a bustling commercial district, with a direct view of Jiefangbei, and it's super close to all the main attractions. It's both convenient and quiet. The room facilities are brand new, featuring a smart toilet, a large-screen TV, and really high-quality furniture. The details are impeccably maintained. The breakfast was so abundant it gave me decision paralysis, with everything from Chinese pastries to Western baked goods, and even a special Chongqing food station. Everything was fresh and delicious. What I want to praise most is the service; from the front desk during check-in to the room service, everyone was incredibly warm and professional, making me feel right at home. I'm extremely satisfied with this stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting for leisure or business!

CciceliThe location is fantastic, right in the heart of the business district, within walking distance to the cable car and Jiefangbei. The lobby is on the 51st floor, guest rooms are on other floors, and the restaurant is on the 50th, which often led to me getting the floors mixed up. The rooms are spacious and very quiet. Breakfast offers a great variety, but no staff member proactively offered tea or coffee. The rooftop infinity pool isn't for swimming; the water and the pool itself weren't very clean. You can buy an afternoon tea set to take photos, but you can still take pictures without buying it, and the views from that floor are nice. I would choose to stay at The Westin again next time I visit Chongqing.

GGuest UserI highly recommend the Le Méridien Chongqing, Nanchuan! It's located right in the Nanchuan Wanda business district, next to Line 3's Gongmao Station, making it super convenient to get to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. Plus, there's a one-stop shop for food and shopping right downstairs. As expected from a Marriott property, the quality is top-notch. The lobby has high ceilings and a strong artistic vibe, and the spiral staircase is fantastic for photos. The rooms are spacious and bright with separate wet and dry areas, and the amenities are premium. The high-floor rooms offer expansive views and stunning nightscapes. Sara and Daisy provided incredibly thoughtful and attentive service – always smiling, enthusiastic, and quick to respond. The breakfast spread was excellent, a rich mix of Western and Chinese options, making for a perfect experience. It's ideal for both business trips and leisure travel. I was extremely satisfied with my stay!
