Marriott Hotels in Abu Dhabi

This hotel is popular with Chinese tour groups, so the breakfast menu conveniently includes Chinese options. The room decor is simple and stylish. Its location is fantastic, right between the Presidential Palace, the Louvre, and the Grand Mosque, making it easy to get around by taxi. Plus, there's a free YAS EXPRESS bus right outside the hotel that goes to all four Yas Island theme parks.

The hotel is close to Yas Island, but quite far from the areas where other major attractions are located. I'd suggest staying downtown or near the Louvre if you're not specifically planning to visit the theme parks. The staff were all very friendly, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and, overall, well-suited to Chinese tastes – much more delicious than the breakfast we had at the Waldorf Astoria in Dubai. The hotel might be a bit older as the decor and facilities feel a bit dated. We stayed in a small suite; on the first night, even with the AC off, it was still freezing. On the second night, the bathroom light suddenly turned on by itself in the middle of the night. We also ordered room service, and the food was excellent. This is a hotel with very clear pros and cons.
