Hidden in a *hutong* (alleyway), this hotel is just a 7-8 minute walk from Beijing Railway Station. The breakfast spread is quite generous, and you'll find many foreign guests here. In the evenings, they often chat in the courtyard, creating a really communal atmosphere. A special highlight is that this was where Edgar Snow wrote *Red Star Over China*; he and Helen lived here, and the hotel has a dedicated exhibit about it. My travel plans changed unexpectedly, requiring me to check out a night early past the regular check-out time, but the hotel didn't charge any extra fees and even kept my luggage safe until I returned. I really appreciate that! I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Beijing!

Five stars all around! Stayed for two nights and had a great experience, so I extended for another night. ✅ Excellent location, right across from Beijing Railway Station, accessible via an elevator skybridge. ✅ Subway Line 2 is right downstairs, making it super convenient to get around without traffic. It's a 30-minute subway ride to Chaoyang Station. ✅ The hotel has a lot of international guests, and the breakfast tends to be Western-style. The breakfast dining area is stunning, with a domed ceiling. ✅ Food delivery to rooms is handled by robots. ✅ The guest rooms have good soundproofing. ✅ The front desk staff (Xiaona, Qiuye, and others whose names I can't recall) and restaurant staff (can't remember their names either 😄) were all incredibly warm and attentive. ✅ Upon checkout, we received complimentary cookies, which made for a perfect snack on our high-speed train ride home. They were delicious and even came with a small chain, so you could wear them like a bracelet 😄 (I'd suggest serving these at breakfast; they'd be amazing with milk).

The rooms were too small specially if you're looking for a small desk and some space to work. I had booked a room with a desk and chair to work and in the pictures it looked big and spacious but when we checked in they gave us a room without any desk or chair so I asked for a changed and fortunately they changed it for me without any problem. Still the bedroom that has s desk office in it it was too small and it can be a little bit stressing if you stay there more than 3 days. As there is no space for the luggage to store it, ni wardrobes, and nit enough space to leave your things and work. The price was a little bit higher than other places I have booked , and the bedrooms were better. Nearby however was a good location as you have fit the train station nearby the metro station and also good restaurants and suoermarkets. You're halfway form the center so it's not a bad location.

The hotel environment was clean and refreshing overall, with both public areas and guest rooms meticulously maintained and comfortable. The front desk staff provided attentive and thoughtful service. When I requested earplugs upon check-in, they were immediately sent to my room – the response time was incredibly fast. On the day of my check-out, I realized in the afternoon that I had accidentally left my wedding ring in the room. I immediately contacted the hotel, and the front desk promptly coordinated with the housekeeping team to search thoroughly. They successfully helped me recover my valuable jewelry. The entire communication process was highly efficient, and their sense of responsibility was outstanding, giving me a strong sense of security. My stay was incredibly satisfying, and I highly recommend this hotel!

Choosing the Tongrun Hotel for our family trip to Beijing was such a stroke of luck; it was a five-star experience all the way. The hotel is located in the heart of Dongcheng, just a few minutes' walk from Dongdan subway station, making it incredibly convenient to get to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and Wangfujing. The location is absolutely perfect. The hotel is quite new, with a simple yet elegant design. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had no strange odors, indicating excellent hygiene. It was fully equipped with smart toilets, a mini-fridge, and high-quality toiletries – every detail was considered. The soundproofing was great, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep after a full day of sightseeing. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including freshly made authentic Old Beijing Zhajiangmian, which was delicious and very satisfying. The staff provided attentive and thoughtful service. Check-in was efficient, and the concierge proactively helped us with our luggage. They even prepared welcome fruits, which was a lovely touch. The robot delivery service for meals was very convenient, and our child absolutely loved it. The hotel also features a self-service laundry room and a gym, which were very practical for our travels. To find such a comfortable environment and great value for money in a central location like this is truly rare. It's definitely our top choice for family travel, and we'll certainly choose to stay here again on our next visit to Beijing.

I want to praise Beijing International Hotel! Even though it's an older hotel with slightly dated facilities, it didn't affect our stay at all because the hygiene was excellent. As soon as we arrived, a welcoming bellboy helped us with our luggage, and the front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and helpful. The hotel breakfast was also very diverse and delicious, and the location is fantastic.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, right across from Beijing Railway Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. The Line 2 subway is easily accessible for getting around anywhere. There's also a bus stop right down the hill from the hotel. Housekeeping was prompt and the room was very clean. The staff were all really friendly; every time I saw a cleaner, they'd greet me warmly. My only slight disappointment was that the room didn't have a window, which affected the ventilation a bit. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the value for money, and easy access is so important in Beijing! 😊😊 I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Beijing, haha, highly recommend!

The room, while small, was very tidy and clean. The bathroom was a good size with a nice separate wet and dry area. I especially loved the citrus-scented toiletries. A big shout-out to the bed linens – they were spotless, easily matching those in a 4-star hotel. The only thing that could be improved is the tea cups; it would be great if they had handles, like the ones at the Four Seasons next door.

The location is fantastic, making it super convenient to get around. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and even on the first floor, it's very quiet with excellent soundproofing. The front desk staff, especially one lady, was incredibly thoughtful; she helped with my luggage and even prepared bottled water and tissues for my departure. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Beijing.

The location is absolutely unbeatable. It's right by Beijing Railway Station – you just exit, take the pedestrian bridge to your left, and turn a corner. It's also very close to the Dongdan campus of Peking Union Medical College Hospital, about a 13 RMB taxi ride. Even though the hotel opened in 2024, the cleanliness has been consistently excellent. The service is very warm and welcoming, and breakfast is served until 9:30 AM.
