Environment: Great location, convenient transportation.
Facilities: As a youth hostel, it only provides the essentials.
Ambiance: Elegant and thoughtfully decorated.
Service: The front desk staff were very friendly.
My personal take: The location is fantastic. As an international youth hostel, its primary purpose has always been to offer backpackers a platform for exchange and to make new friends. Every youth hostel has its own unique character, and it's not about having perfect services or facilities.
The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff, both the young men and women, provided excellent service. The location is fantastic, with a great restaurant right next door, making it very convenient for getting around. The front desk staff even granted us a late check-out! Very satisfied!
On my business trip to Beijing, I blindly chose the Qinfu Hotel, and it turned out to be the absolute highlight of my journey! It truly deserves a perfect score.
The location is simply unbeatable. It's right next to a subway exit, saving me tons of commute time when visiting clients and office buildings. What's even better is that within a ten-minute walk, you're in the old Beijing hutongs. After work, I could just wander through them, soak in the vibrant atmosphere among the grey bricks and tiles, and instantly shake off the fatigue of the business trip.
The service was attentive down to the smallest detail. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Check-in was super fast, I didn't even wait two minutes, and they even offered to help me with my luggage to the elevator. The room was much more spacious than expected, with sparkling clean surfaces and floors. The bedding felt soft and luxurious, and I'd fall asleep instantly after a busy day. The soundproofing was excellent; even on a weekday, I was never disturbed by noise from the hallway or outside. The internet speed was fantastic too, making video conferences smooth and lag-free.
Next time I'm in Beijing, this hotel will definitely be my top choice, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation!

Choosing the right hotel when traveling with kids is so important! This place is simply amazing. They had children's picture books and small toys ready in the room beforehand, which kept my baby entertained from the moment we checked in. For breakfast, there were special kids' utensils, and the server even brought a small cake for my child. The hotel is only a 10-minute walk from the scenic area, and free parking is super convenient. The bathroom also has safety grab bars, which is a great relief for older family members traveling with children. The staff were incredibly patient with the kids, always greeting us with a smile. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for our next family trip with my parents!
Had a great three-day trip to Beijing with the kids, a really nice experience.
Service: The service was excellent, very warm and thoughtful. When we came in from the cold, they immediately offered hot water or pear soup, which was lovely and warming.
There was some pipe repair noise (though I didn't really notice it), but the housekeeping staff addressed it proactively and even brought fruit platters to each room as an apology. The front desk staff patiently taught my child how to do rubbings and stamp prints, which was a very thoughtful touch.
Environment: Overall good, breakfast was plentiful. Aside from the rooms being quite compact and cozy, there weren't really any issues; it felt like good value for money.
I definitely have to recommend the hotel's location. Just over 100 meters to the right from the entrance are the subway entrances for Line 2 and Line 8, making it super convenient to get to Shichahai, Qianmen, and everywhere else.
It's just over a kilometer's walk to the Drum Tower and Bell Tower and a great food street. If you're too lazy to walk, there are buses that go directly to Jiugulou Street. The hotel's location is truly excellent.
It was just so cold outdoors in Beijing winter... but it was very warm inside the hotel!
This hotel boasts a fantastic location, just a five-minute walk from Shichahai! The room amenities are incredibly thoughtful, and the decor colors are very soothing. If you need anything, just call out to Xiao Ai (the smart assistant), and there's a free laundry room available. Although the room size is a bit small, everything else is truly outstanding! A special thanks to the cleaning staff who found my forgotten iPad and promptly notified the front desk. They even arranged for a delivery service to bring it to me. The service was absolutely impeccable~
The service here is exceptional! The ladies at the counter helped us with everything through WeChat extremely promptly. On the first night, we noticed the window separating the toilet and main room was a little translucent, and WeChat the staff to let them know- they sent someone up within 5 mins and promptly resolved it the next day. We didn’t have a Chinese number and asked them for help for booking reservations for restaurants, and they promptly helped us. The location is excellent, and is in the middle of the busy walking street but the room was quiet and good for resting, it also had a nice spacious balcony outside for chilling out. Most importantly of all, the staff provided amazing service. Highly recommended!!!
The experience was great, mainly due to the excellent location. The front desk lady was very efficient with check-in and provided excellent service. The facilities inside were also very complete, and the hutong environment had a great atmosphere. The room was very clean, allowing me to fully relax, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. I happened to catch a snowfall this time, which made the hutong feel quite artistic. This place is definitely worth recommending.
The room was small with very limited space for belongings, which was inconvenient for travelers with a lot of luggage or personal items. The shower's glass door didn't close properly, causing water to spray out during showers. The sink faucet was positioned too far forward, making it awkward to wash hands and face. Also, the toilet paper holder was poorly placed, causing the entire roll to easily fall to the floor. The floors had quite a bit of dust and hair. On the plus side, the location is near a city center subway station, making it very convenient for visiting popular attractions.
I arrived late in the evening. The hotel lobby has a distinctive Beijing style. Behind the hotel is the Siheyuan (courtyard house) I booked. Since the hotel has been open for several years, the room facilities are indeed a bit old. For me, it was very quiet, and the room size was just right.
It's a bit different from the Siheyuan I stayed in before; it has one entrance leading to two rooms. It's located in a hutong, on a one-way street, which makes it quite peaceful and easy to find. The service was excellent, and they could meet most requests. Getting a taxi was also very convenient. Overall, the transportation is good, and the hotel really captures the essence of Beijing.

Zzw218218This new hotel, Xin Yuan 1875, is super conveniently located in a historic old house on Yandai Xie Street. Just two minutes north from Exit A2 of Shichahai subway station, you'll see its two-story building on the corner to the west of the Yandai Xie Street archway. Its rich decor perfectly complements its unique history and proximity to Shichahai Lake, the Drum Tower, Nanluoguxiang, Guangfu Temple, and Dashibei Hutong. It's incredibly convenient for sightseeing, leisure, and enjoying local snacks. There aren't many rooms, offering a peaceful retreat despite being in a bustling area. The furnishings are interesting; flipping through 'Beijing Customs' in the cabinet gives a real sense of old Beijing. From the head of the bed, you get a close-up view of the magnificent Drum Tower filling the window. The shower's fine, soft water streams are wonderfully comfortable, reminding one of the area's famous old bathhouses. It would be even better if there was some information about the history of those bathhouses. I'd definitely come back.
MM452411****This courtyard hotel we chose in Beijing was absolutely wonderful! The environment is ancient and elegant, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the bedding is very comfortable. The fully smart room controls are super convenient, and the staff's service is attentive and warm, making you feel right at home. There are also many attractions around the hotel; it's about a ten-minute walk to Shichahai, and there are plenty of great food options like copper pot hotpot and stewed offal with bread. Getting around is also convenient, with subway and bus stops nearby. Highly recommended!
MM822449****The room is nestled in a traditional hutong alley, right outside Huguosi Temple. It's surprisingly quiet despite being in a bustling area. The courtyard hotel has a very grand, official residence feel to it. Our room type was quite spacious, with very new facilities and equipment. The indoor heating was excellent, and the shower water temperature was consistently warm. Service was prompt, and the breakfast was quite extensive. Since it was the Winter Solstice today, in addition to chicken noodle soup, they also served dumplings.
MManuel CotesOur stay at Beijing Shichahai Shadow Art Performance Courtyard was simply amazing. The atmosphere of the hotel perfectly combines tradition and modern comfort, giving us a truly unique experience in the heart of Beijing.
What surprised and delighted us the most were the shadow puppet performances, an authentic and original show that made us feel even more immersed in the local culture. It was truly unforgettable.
We want to give a very special thanks to Tom and Lily, who were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home.
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking not just for accommodation, but for a cultural and personal experience that we will always remember with great affection.
Wwxyjay919It is a ten-minute walk from Ping'anli subway station. In the alley, out of the alley is Huguosi Snack Street, you can walk to Prince Gong's Mansion and Beihai Park.
Nice place: the safety factor is very high, you must have a door card to enter. There is an electric card in the room, and there is air conditioning in the house in summer. Who knows this feeling? ~~ Don't wait for the air conditioner to cool down, it is not too comfortable. The bathroom is dry and wet. The design is very reasonable. The overall feeling is very good.
Insufficient: Hutong location, the car may not be easy to stop at the door, there is no elevator.
Finally, I specially named and praised: recently, Beijing has been raining, and the hotel is intimate to even the small electric parked at the door to help cover it, afraid of getting wet. And the car seat and the handle are covered. It's so intimate. The service is serious and attentive, the series sees the real chapter! ! ! It's a big praise.
VVictoria EleyWe absolutely loved our stay at Junhefu Courtyard Hotel. The staff went above and beyond in every way. We have a toddler who is a serious fruit lover, and every time she cleared the fruit plate in our room, they would restock it without hesitation. It was such a small gesture, but it showed how thoughtful and attentive they are. Honestly, I would stay again just for the service alone.
And the location—wow. Don’t underestimate what the Hutongs have to offer! Staying here ended up being the highlight of our trip. Wandering the surrounding alleyways was magical: authentic, full of life, and best of all, incredibly safe. If you want to truly feel the cultural heart of Beijing, this is the place to stay.
A small note for light sleepers: the rooms aren’t very sound insulated, so noise can travel. We managed fine with our toddler thanks to a sound machine, but it’s worth being aware of.
Overall, we would absolutely book again. A beautiful cultural experience with some of the kindest staff we’ve ever encountered.
MM48581****The hotel is very good, the infrastructure and facilities are very good, the service staff are very enthusiastic, and the environment and facilities are very comfortable. I recommend it to everyone. I hope that the next time you come, it will be a safe and healthy journey.
GGuest UserThe location is excellent. The Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital is opposite the hotel. To the west is Nanluoguxiang and Beihai Park. It is a good place to stay whether for medical treatment or sightseeing. The front desk service is meticulous and thoughtful, and the room is clean and tidy. It makes people live very comfortably and satisfied. I will stay here again next time.
GGuest UserThe former Wangfu, the courtyard house that can be accommodated now, is very close to Nanluoguxiang, very quiet in the middle of noisy, sent the manager's arrangement to a friend, the friend said: It feels like a big event, the movie viewing experience is excellent, the environment sound effect, the terrace meal just catches up with the sunset, let people linger, The restaurant supervisor not only arranges food, but also helps to leave beautiful scenery. There have always been a courtyard plot, perfect!
