I absolutely loved this hotel! We stayed in this hotel on our way out of town & were pleasantly surprised!! The staff was amazing, the hotel was clean, great location!! ☺️

Lots to do located perfectly for nite life. Very helpful staff. Clean hotel a pool .The funds not so bad I think a lot of hotels trying to stay under a ball. I think fare. I'd definitely lie to go back an hit that shopping center for fun. You can walk to the club and lounge .

Everything went above and beyond for what I paid for. I was there solo for a concert at PNC Arena. Long story, but obviously I made tons of friends that were downstairs going to the same concert! The front desk staff were very friendly, but in the kind of way that they truly enjoy the job that they’re doing. In my room...everything was perfect, everything was clean. I absolutely LOVE that there was immediate hot water no matter which faucet you turned on! I did not get the pleasure of the free dinner, but I definitely had the two free drinks before my concert. The bartender was just the sweetest. I actually missed out on the free breakfast, but I’ve heard that it is really spot on. I accidentally carried my room keys out with me when I went to go load the car so obviously I had to drop those off at the front desk, and that guy was spectacular also! I do know that if I ever need to come to Charlotte again, even though I live only 70 miles away, I will definitely be staying at the Drury Inn and Suites University!

We are Wyndham Club Owners and were excited to try out more Wyndham properties on another road trip, this one through Charlotte. The inside of the hotel itself was nice, spacious, quiet and clean with a nice little restaurant and bar. The location of the hotel was not in a good area, and there were homeless and drunks loitering around the entrance area and parking lot. The reception had no customer service skills, yet the restaurant manager was very friendly (although clearly the kitchen was short staffed, which made for slower service and a few errors which he tired his best to stay on top of). Overall, this is a mixed review, as the bed was comfy, the room was pleasant, we slept well, we had a good breakfast the next morning, yet my husband does not want to return due to the location and the people wandering around near the cars.

I stayed here with my family for a three day long vacation. We LOVED it. We needed a pack n play crib for our youngest and they were very accommodating even though we checked in late! Also, they had a fantastic breakfast. Very very clean with the best views!
