"The hotel is situated in a very pristine and peaceful location in Cingjing. Landscaping is beautiful, there are many welcoming cats and view is beautiful against a backdrop of mountains. Just be careful in manoeurving around in the room as your head may just bang onto the staircase. There is no daily changing of towels and clearing of trash bins."

"Sun Moon Lake is literally at the hotel's doorstep, so close you could practically fish from it. Ita Thao Pier is conveniently located right next door. The hotel's interior is entirely adorned with cypress wood, creating a delightful natural aroma throughout. Furthermore, both the cable car station and the main commercial district are just a short 10-minute walk away."

"The room is bigger than I expected. Clean and comfortable to stay with. The place is very accessible to everything you need, from foods to the sun moon lake scenic views. Recommended"

"Great value for money, clean and friendly. Included breakfast which included some interesting options that you had to select as soon as you checked in. Owner arranged bike hire for us which I would really recommend. Nice roof terrace at back of hotel. If a ski chalet is your thing, then choose here! Would definitely stay here again although there is 0 nightlife and everything shuts at 7-8pm, but that is the town, not the hotel."

"The views were amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly. Both the breakfast/afternoon tea area and the dinner restaurant offered a very comfortable and pleasant ambiance. The chef's choice dinner was absolutely delicious; dishes were served promptly, and the service was impeccable. It easily rivals standalone restaurants. Highly recommended!"

"This is a new B&B, probably just opened a short time ago. Overall, it's quite good, and the service is friendly. The only thing I wasn't very happy with was the breakfast. The Western dishes had too many fried foods, and the Chinese dishes were mostly canned. I feel like they could have more stir-fries. Some things are still a little bit underdeveloped, and I hope they can be better prepared."

"Room was clean, comfy and spacious. Great service from the staff, including a tasty and quick breakfast of ********* Toast. Amazing view and area outside to sit and stargaze. Only issue we had was there were some insects (stinkbugs) in the room. However, we told the staff and they immediately reassured us that they were harmless and vacuumed them up. Unfortunately it was breeding season for stinkbugs. Overall, we recommend staying here, but if you’re a bit squeamish then avoid stinkbug breeding season."

"The room on the second floor wasn't ideally located, but the bedding was clean and comfortable. The most noticeable drawback was the strong, unpleasant smell in the bathroom, which seemed to be a drainage issue. Since we were only staying one night, and it was a weekend with a 7 PM check-in, we decided not to inform the hotel."

"The service staff are very friendly and welcoming. The location is super convenient, right outside the door is the Ita Thao shopping street. The food at the Chinese restaurant is high quality, and the prices are very reasonable. While the buffet doesn't have a huge selection, the items are refined and well above average. The room cleanliness is excellent, and the bed is just the right softness, making for a very comfortable sleep. The room comes with a hot spring tub, and the water pressure is good, so it fills up quickly without a long wait. The food and cocktails at the ground floor bar are also professionally made (the ¥300 discount for guests on cocktails is a nice touch!). This is a hotel I would definitely bring my family and friends back to enjoy again! Highly recommended!"
