This five-star review isn't something the hotel front desk asked for, it's genuinely from the heart! When I was choosing a hotel, I was torn between the Garden Hotel and this one, but the moment I stepped into the room, I knew I made the right choice! 1) We arrived at the hotel at 11 PM on a Friday. We had originally booked the cheapest tatami room, but the front desk staff immediately upgraded us to a superior king room, which had a window! Compared to some other branches of the same chain (Quanji), the room size was quite generous. 2) On the night we checked in, the front desk gave us a big bag of fruit! Compared to other Quanji hotels, they were incredibly generous. Our whole weekend experience in Datong was fantastic; everyone here is so genuine. 3) The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, especially compared to other Quanji hotels. The dishes changed daily, and there was plenty of meat! The restaurant staff were constantly tidying up the food and wiping down the serving pans, so the hygiene was meticulously maintained. 4) The hotel front desk also had beautifully designed and thoughtful guide cards, which were genuinely useful when we visited the ancient city. 5) The location is convenient, quite close to the ancient city, and there are several shopping malls right across the street, which is very handy. Overall, I highly recommend it – choosing this place is the right decision! 6) The cleaning staff were also very thorough and enthusiastic! Seriously, everything here is done so well! Choosing this place is definitely the right call, and I'll choose it again next time I'm in Datong!

My wife's favourite hotel. Exceeded expectations in many areas. I feel like going back now. The room is new, big and really comfortable. Lots of little things made us feel so good: e.g. free snacks and dessert, books for browsing, free laundry, dining table, huge TV, big window. Now the down sides: There are not many eateries within walking distance. But I guess you can order delivery. They deliver to your hotel room here. It is so new that many cab drivers do not know the place.

This is a brand new all-season hotel that just opened in June, scoring a perfect 5.0. It features smart toilets. The 'Hello Huazhu' robot still needs some improvement, but the mattress firmness is just right, and it's very quiet. The location is close to the East Gate of the old town. The overall service is also better, the room is cleaned very clean, there are fruit plates every day, and the water is new every day. Every time I go out, I see that the room I have cleaned up is very practical. If there is any problem, the feedback speed is very fast. I met everyone with a very kind attitude. After checking out, I sat in the lobby and waited to go to the high-speed rail station. Sister Xiao Yang sent health tea as always. I was worried that I didn't take mineral water (it was very troublesome to pass the security check and I didn't bring it). I also gave a souvenir and a small comb. I found that the store next to it was very noisy and helped adjust the windows. The experience was really good, just after the trip to Datong was over, and I set off with a good mood.
