This hotel was recommended on Xiaohongshu when I came to Datong for the first time. It really exceeded my expectations. After I checked in at the hotel, the front desk upgraded the parent-child room for free. The children liked it very much. The breakfast was very rich and the environment was very good. I will book this hotel again next time.
Terrible! I strongly object to secretly leaving positive reviews using a customer's phone. I will definitely leave a positive review if asked, but doing so secretly is going too far. I stayed two nights and placed two separate orders. The first night, I arrived at the hotel at 11 PM, and the door lock wouldn't lock, and the security zipper was missing. The staff tried to fix it, but couldn't. I had to make do for the night without being able to change rooms. The second night, I called to ask for a room change, and they readily agreed and even gave me a gift (two bags of cold noodles and three drinks). My stay was very pleasant. On the third day, when I checked out, the front desk, perhaps afraid of leaving a bad review, asked me to leave a positive review. I said okay, I was in a rush to catch my flight, I'd leave it later. The front desk then said, ”Could you please pull up your Ctrip order so I can check it?” When I handed the phone back, I saw them tap it and return it to me. I realized they had left a positive review. I was in a hurry to get to the airport and didn't have time to leave one. I find this behavior very offensive. Do they treat their customers like dirt? This is the first time I've encountered such an employee among all the Manxin stores nationwide. Shouldn't we improve the quality of our employees?
