Hotels in Broughton, Edinburgh

The location is great, you can walk to most of the attractions in Edinburgh's Old Town. The space is very large and the facilities are well-equipped, including kitchen appliances, a coffee machine, and a washing machine, as well as a drying rack and an iron. Although breakfast isn't provided, there were two small bottles of milk and some butter in the fridge. The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day, and the service was excellent when I needed to ask questions or needed help.

Amazing location- most of attractions were on walking distance. Sainsbury, Pret and Starbucks were right beside which maee it eve more convenient. Room size size was big enough for one person but not for two as oppose to stated in booking.

Taking the Tram from Edinburgh Airport, I got off at Picardy Place and the hotel was right across the street. The location is decent; it's about a 10-minute walk uphill to Waverley Train Station. There's a Tesco right next to the hotel and a large shopping center about 200 meters away. Plenty of restaurants nearby too. I stayed in a top-floor room, which was just so-so (see pictures). A plus was the Type C charging port next to the bed, very convenient. The downside, at least in my room, was a sporadic vibrating noise during the day. It stopped at night, and I'm not sure what it was, especially since my room was far from the elevators. Speaking of which, there are two elevators, but only one serves the 6th floor. Breakfast was as pictured; the same items for both days, no variety. There was a kettle in the room. I was able to check in about half an hour early, which was nice.

The room was cozy and private. I arrived an hour early and was told there'd be a £10 charge for early check-in, so I decided to wait. However, the front desk attendant wouldn't even let me wait inside the lobby, insisting I wait outside in the cold, which felt a bit unreasonable. Also, if early check-in wasn't an option for me, why were a white mother and daughter able to check in right after me? Is this discrimination against Chinese people?

The room is small but the sanitary conditions can also be simpler. The equipment can meet the needs. The traffic is very convenient. The subway is two minutes away. The breakfast is still rich. The typical experience hotel. Cost-effective

Another night staying at this hostel. We stayed in a six-person female dorm. Except that the drainage is quite bad at the shower room, and the bunk bed is noisy when i move, everything is good and clean. A good choice for budget traveller!

The hotel stated that it has a 24-hour check-in counter, but after arriving at the hotel, ringing the bell and calling the staff could not contact the staff to enter the hotel.

Except that it's hard to find, there is a very small doorway, you can't see it carefully, and there is nothing wrong with it. There is no reception, just contact the administrator through the small phone at the door, and he will tell you your apartment number and entry code. It is very close to Calton Hill, and all major attractions in Edinburgh can be visited on legs except for the Arthur’s Crown.

This room is the most comfortable room we have ever stayed in Edinburgh. We stayed for two nights. I wanted to book three more nights. Unfortunately, there is no room. It is a century-old house. The transformation is better. The scenery outside the window is good.
