Hanting Hotels in Hohhot

First of all, the check-in staff were very nice, professional, and attentive. I give them five stars; they were very professional, unlike the Hanting Hotel in Baotou, where they didn't even know anything about Huazhu Gold Membership. However, this Hanting Hotel is the most outdated I've ever stayed at, even worse than the ones in Dalian Xiangluqiao and Baotou Baogang. First, they have very few twin rooms, and none of them are on the edges. They're either on the first or third floor near the elevator. Soundproofing is a given, but for a little over 100 yuan, it's not like it's Atour, so there's not much to complain about. Second, the door to my room swayed when the doors of the surrounding rooms closed. Third, the heating was extremely hot. That's not a big deal; some people say it's too hot, others say it's too cold—it's a personal issue. But when it got too hot and I wanted to turn on the air conditioner, it had a sour smell and was very dirty. Fourth, the toiletries were only half-empty. I thought the previous two Hanting hotels would refill them regularly, but maybe this one just replaced them when they were empty. Fifth, the facilities are too outdated. Other hotels have centralized switches that control the room from the bedside, but this one not only uses the old-fashioned system where you open the switch in each room, but there are also no electric curtains; you have to pull them manually. The location, however, is extremely convenient, no doubt about it. The room linens are clean, and the hotel lobby smells wonderful. Aside from a few minor drawbacks compared to other Hanting hotels, it's a very good value for the price.

I specifically booked a larger room, and it was very comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located near the East Railway Station and a museum, both within walking distance. There's also a subway station nearby, making transportation easy. Across the street from the hotel is an outlet mall with many restaurants, so dining is super convenient. We even had our first meal at Lao Sui Yuan. Plus, it's really quiet since it's away from the bustling downtown area.

The front desk staff were warm and attentive, the room was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. I would choose this hotel again next time.

The hotel was beautiful and clean! We love the hotel so much. It is so near to halal food restaurant. Just few steps from lobby on the right. The train station is just next door. It is very convenient 🩷. During check in the staff was very helpful and friendly. Everyone was so polite. Love that they give mineral a lot and tea at the lobby. Our room was spacious. We slept soundly. The only thing they need to improve will be the shower draining system. It takes time to for water to drain. If we go to Hohhot again will definitely stay here 😊

Newly opened in '26. The front desk service was excellent and the room was very clean. For the price, the value for money was incredible. I was traveling alone in Inner Mongolia. The young lady at the front desk even gave me a souvenir, hehe.

Cleanliness: The environment is clean and tidy, and the cleaning staff are proactive and meticulous. Service: The service attitude is exceptionally good. They helped store food in the fridge, and even proactively asked if we wanted to take two bottles of water when we were heading out. Environment: It's very convenient to get to various scenic spots, and there are also small supermarkets and good food options nearby.

Overall, it offers great value for money, is clean, comfortable, and practical, making it highly recommended for business trips and leisure travel.
