quiet , nice place to stay. easy walking distance to the old town. the owner was really kind to help me w my bag and send me to the main road to get a taxi which was v appreciated else I have to drag my bag along the small lanes.

A nice clean cosy homestay. Not inside the Ancient city but much preferred location. Easy walk to the Ancient city. The manager is helpful and contacted us in advance to make arrangement for car parking.

He would drive a car to pick us up near the inn (otherwise, it would be a bit tiring to drag the suitcases along the stone road). I will make tea for everyone in the evening. I stayed at Mengqianting for two nights and drank tea three times. I doubted that I would finish all the boss’s tea. The facilities are also good. Smart toilets and constant-temperature bathrooms. Takeaways are very convenient and can be delivered directly to the room. The balcony on the second floor of the B&B is quite nice and spacious. There are tables and chairs for resting. You can also see the sunset and the scenery is excellent. The service is also very good, highly recommended.
