Hotels Near Silent Beach in Koh Chang

We were in KB Resort for repeated times. The reception was in a new building and the beach bungalows were also new. We had one of these bungalows in the first row at the sea, about 3-4 meters from the sea. Only a few cocoa palms separated us from the beach. The facilities were very good and clean with a large bed and a beautiful veranda with a table, bank, chair and a beautiful ”bed sofa”. Who uses TV in the room at this location and the view of the sea, I don't understand.

Some stunning views around the hotel grounds but it’s not really a resort. Sure, it’s a big hotel but there is no entertainment or things to do within the hotel. There is a beach and small pool but no night time shows, no daytime activities. Room was average, not bad but not wow. Definitely not worth the price as it seemed to be built quite an old time ago and just refurnished every now and then. Room had AC which is good. Location of the hotel was ok as it was close to a Lotus shop and a small high street, this wasn’t a far walk. There are wider issues with the island itself but for as much as the hotel can do, it has done. Staff are lovely and so kind and helpful. Overall there definitely needs to be an overhaul on the entertainment side. Most resorts have a dedicated entertainment/animation team that are responsible for putting on shows, planning activities and overall improving guest satisfaction.

Villa area rooms are super old which is double price compare to the main building where is new Not worthy it The manager at front desk is very indifferent. Thailand is rental country as someone told me. It is !

Koh Chang Longstay Resort is located on Klong Prao Beach in Koh Chang, Thailand. Very nice hotel, unfortunately a little afforded, but still very nice. We had a bungalow right at the neighbouring river, which was beautiful from the location, but was very standardly furnished from the inside and quite afforded. It was also very easy to screw. But this is in the limits, you can see it away. There are 2 beautiful pools in the plant with sufficient lifting areas. Also a free shuttle boat service is offered to the beach and to the Fireflys. However, if you have a bad time you wait for the shuttle to take one back with or miss the return (18:00), you will have to go back about 25 minutes (navi or local knowledge needed). The breakfast buffet is unrecommended, the selection is very small and tastefully not so good, then prefer to breakfast outdoor for small money. The service itself was completely OK and clean the facility is also. From the location a roller is beneficial, but no need, in 15-20 min walking road you also reach the most important. The wire in the rooms is OK, enough for Netflix. But vllt. not so suitable for work.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights during our visit to Thailand and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff were so helpful and lovely, they really couldn’t do enough for you. One night we had left it too late to get any water from the local shop as it has closed- and the lady on reception sent house keeping to the room to give us two bottles of water- which we really appreciated!! The location of this hotel is perfect, you’ve got the beach and a pool to choose from- the beach is beautiful- so quiet and clean! The breakfast was great- not many English kind of options, only cereal, pancakes and fruit but lots of Thai options which my boyfriend enjoyed. The only negatives I would have to say was the wifi wasn’t great - it kept logging us out after an hour or and their were ants in our room but not many- they were only on walls now and again- but I’m such a clean freak and even i would stay there again- it really wasn’t that bad.

Nice and quiet We had been this place and we decide to come back because of it really nice hotel ,the thing we like is staff very nice and friendly, room are big and clean , quite pool area, beautiful garden. A bit far from restaurant and shop but you take motorbike to go around the island just contact at reception, also our activities like snorkeling, elephant trip .

Our stay was absolutely amazing from the moment we checked in until we left. Shoutout to Alex at the reception, who made our experience even more memorable by upgrading us to the Beachfront Grand Villa. It was beyond awesome! The room was beautifully designed with all new furnishings and a breathtaking view. Alex really went out of his way to make our holiday special, and we can't thank him enough. We were a bit worried about the October weather, but it turned out to be mostly great, with just a short 15-minute rain spell, which wasn't a big deal for us. The service was top-notch, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The breakfast spot was a real winner, especially after its recent renovation. The new coffee machines are so cool! The variety of food available was mind-boggling. The location of the resort couldn't have been better. The beach area was pristine, with crystal-clear and calm waters. No rocks or corals to be found, just pure sandy bliss. And the cherry on top? The 8 P.M. live music and fire show on the beach—such a magical way to end the day. We truly had a blast! We had family visiting Thailand for the first time, and we stayed at both the Koh Chang Paradise Hill Resort and the sister resort Koh Chang Paradise Resort across the street. If you want to read about my awful experience at the sister resort, Koh Chang Paradise, you can read my other review. Our stay at the Koh Chang Paradise Hill Resort was fun and relaxing. My kids enjoyed the waterpark and the beach. The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. Two thumbs up for the staff! The only negative experience I had with a staff member was at breakfast one morning. I had sprained my ankle right before our beach holiday and was hobbling around at breakfast filling up my personal mug with tea because the provided cups were really small and I didn’t want to have to get up multiple times to refill the small cup. A chef got angry at me and told me to not use my personal mug. He raised his voice at me and told me unkindly to not do what I was doing. I explained to him that I had hurt my ankle and did not want to get up multiple times to get more tea. I don’t think he really listened to me because he kept talking to me with an angry voice about not using my cup. Thankfully all the other staff at breakfast have been great. The lifeguards at the pool were great. One of the kids in our group slipped and cut her foot, and they cared for her with proper first aid. I appreciated their professional approach! Cleaning ladies were cheerful and smiled a lot.

The location is seafront not beachfront as seen from photos if you bother to do some simple research. However, the resort provides a man made sand area with furniture overlooking the sea. Alternatively, walk a mere 2 minutes down the main road to access White Sands beach. The property enjoys a 7-11, Macro and beer bar complex nearby. It is only a short walk to White Elephant Sports bar and to restaurants, travel agencies and your typical beach shops down along the main road. The seaside complex provides an infinity pool, a long pool beside the bungalow rooms, beach bar and restaurant where all guests partake breakfast. Both the seaside and hillside complexes have a dedicated reception area. I found staff at both were friendly and probably able to assist you if you have done no research about Koh Chang. On this visit I opted for a hillside room as I was seeking overall value. I had read reviews that seaside rooms can be affected by noise at night emanating from the nearby beer bar complex. My room was situated on the east side of the building (3 floors) and was not affected by any noise at night. I even had a water view from my balcony. My room was spacious and clean. The aircon, fridge and TV worked fine. The wardrobe had hangers with some shelving space. A long bench space with drawers to place your things. A small table and two children was useful. Lighting was very good. The bathroom was also modern looking with segregated shower recess. Good hot water with good pressure. The buffet breakfast was excellent. All the possible food options have you covered including an egg station. Enough seating given the number of guests coming and going. Overall, the resort and my room provided me with what I wanted, a comfortable and quiet stay.
