Solare Hotels in Kyoto

A really great hotel! The room was quiet, and the decor felt very new. It's also not far from Kyoto Station on foot. There's a convenience store right downstairs, which was super handy for grabbing anything we needed. Plus, there are bus stops downstairs that go directly to attractions like Kiyomizu-dera Temple.

Although the hotel room was small, it was able to accommodate a large suitcase's worth of clothes and toiletries. Everything could be neatly organized into the wardrobe and the drawers under the sink, and the suitcase could be tucked away beside them. The overall living space was quite comfortable. The lobby lounge was very useful, and I particularly enjoyed the matcha yuzu bread. The room was surprisingly quiet; even though there was construction happening directly across the street, it stopped by 5 PM, so it didn't really affect my rest. When I stay in Kyoto, I'm usually out early and back late, and I don't tend to sleep in, so it wasn't a major issue. It would be even better if the hairdryer could be upgraded. Oh, and the laundry room only had one washer and one dryer, and they seemed poorly maintained, so I didn't feel comfortable using them. I ended up going to a self-service laundromat a 7-minute walk away, which was quite clean. I'd likely choose this hotel again next time.

Truly a 10/10 stay. Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and enjoyable. The room was modern, quiet, and immaculately clean. Loved the attention to detail throughout the hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about guest experience. Would happily stay again

The picture on trip.com didn't do the hotel justice. The room is extremely modern clean and nice. They prepared the bed for us by converting the sofa bed in adcance. The public bath was extremely clean and cozy and we had a great time there. Staffs were also very friendly and helpful.

The first time I stayed in a pet-themed hotel, I was worried about hygiene issues such as hair at first, but I stayed for two days and the hygiene was very clean. I didn’t see the worrying things. The room was separated from wet and dry. This was very happy. The room was one bedroom and one living room. The space is oversized. The bedding is also very comfortable to sleep barrier-free, all aspects are very clean and tidy, the surrounding facilities are also very complete, subway, bus, very close

The room was a bit small, making it difficult to open two suitcases, which was inconvenient when traveling with a child and needing to access things. However, it was clean. They don't provide complimentary water in the room, but there's a FamilyMart convenience store downstairs. The location is very convenient. The biggest drawback is that it's street-facing, and the soundproofing is terrible. Motorcycles roaring by, cars, and people talking all night really disturbed my sleep. If you're a light sleeper, you should definitely consider this. A great plus was having a bathtub for soaking, even though it wasn't a hot spring; it was very relaxing after a long day of sightseeing.
