Holiday Inn Hotels in Lisbon

The room was quite spacious, and I had a two-bathroom setup, which was great for two people as we didn't get in each other's way. What I loved most was the lobby's decor – very modern and trendy. They have a water dispenser and charging outlets, making it super comfortable to sit and wait for transportation. You can also store your luggage. The restaurant downstairs was good too. I had dinner and lunch there because I arrived late, and many other restaurants were closed the next day for lunch. The quality didn't disappoint. I ordered a glass of wine, bread, an appetizer, and paella for dinner. For lunch, I had pizza and a burger, and the prices were comparable to outside establishments. I even looked up the restaurant online, and it has high ratings, which saved me the trouble of searching for other places to eat.

This is a nice hotel, a little too far from the subway stations but acceptable, close to many restaurants… The staff is nice, helpful and service-oriented. The view from the first room was not OK (see the first photo below) and the staff changed upon my request my room. The new room had a better view (see the second photo below). The room was clean and the bed comfortable. But as the other hotel guests were talking and passing by in the corridor, it was heard inside the room (although the door was closed). The room and its bath room need to be renovated. Right now, they look like a summer cottage in the 1980ies. The restaurant and public spaces on the ground floor are however updated. The breakfast was nice.

We weren’t there long, so it’s hard to make a judgment. Staff were nice enough. No issues, no complaints. The hotel, however is like a museum of the 1980s. First generation flat screen TV and old clunky phone by the bed and a glass sink surround. It needs a 2025 upgrade.
