The location of Eco Tree Hotel is in an older part of Melaka that is now less travelled but still has many eateries. While the room booked didn't have windows because of the price, it was nonetheless spacious and comfortable. Interestingly, the wardrobe was located in the bathroom. Liked the bathroom layout though. Unfortunately it was the rainy season and the pool was closed for maintenance anyway. Did venture to the rooftop to have a peak, definitely need some refurbishment there. If the price is maintained at this level, would definitely recommend.
Good stay with Attic home. Room is clean and bright enough. Equipped with washing machine, microwave, induction cooker, refrigerator and hair dryer.
The whole imperio residence building is vacant except theres a small mart at ground floor. Carpark wasn’t thoroughly well lit at all. There are 5 lifts so you wont be waiting long for it. But i encountered one of the lift issue, after i entered, the lift jerked up and idle for 5secs before it starts to descend.
Check out was a hassle as you need to go out from the building and turnaround at the traffic light to return the key. The building design isnt so ideal.
Located in an alley behind Hatten Hotel with Bus/coach bay (1 way traffic direction). Parking is chargable. Nearby Shopping mall - Mahkota Parade, Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall. walking distance to Jonker Street. Room was spacious (living room, 2 bedrooms 2 toilets) comfortable beds (2 single & 1 queen size). Bathroom was clean. No Face / hand towel provided. TV reception was weak. the chair cushions were abit worn off and dust can been seen on beams of the table. Some wood lamination has peel off and chips near the window panel. The spread of the morning breakfast was plain and simple with 1 ”live” egg cooking section. hence did not opt or it.

I had a wonderful stay at Noble Resort Hotel Melaka, and it truly exceeded expectations. The Premier Executive services were exceptional — professional, attentive, and thoughtfully delivered, making the entire stay feel comfortable and well taken care of. The team was warm, efficient, and always ready to assist, which added a premium touch to the experience.
The location is another major highlight. The hotel is conveniently situated near shopping malls, making it easy to access retail outlets, cafés, and daily necessities. There are also plenty of food options nearby, from local delights to well-known eateries, so finding great meals was effortless throughout the stay.
Rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, offering a relaxing environment to unwind after a full day out. The overall atmosphere of the hotel strikes a great balance between comfort and elegance.
I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for convenience, quality service, and a pleasant stay.
1. Stated there’s an upgrade in bedsheets so it’s higher quality more comfortable, that’s good to know
2. Toilet is very dirty with spider and weird insect I saw in just 4 days stay.
3. The blanket without the cover is very dirty and cream colour
4. Chair has blood stain
5. Toilet shower area is mouldy
6. Want more toilet paper or bath supplies or their tiny water? Add money. 1 layer toilet paper can last you 4 days for 2 pax? 2 mini 50 ml bottle can last you for 1 day?
7. No toothbrush
8. No room slippers
9. Basin water splashes everywhere, might as well shower standing near the basin.
Honestly this place has so much potential if house keeping really takes care and clean the property
There is 1 big mega mall opposite which is super convenient
Quite near jonker street too 15 min walk.
Staffs are polite and nice, check in and out process when it’s your turn, is pretty fast but there’s always long queues and waiting time.
I booked 2 deluxe king rooms for 2adults and 2 teens as I don't require a lounge (additional room with sofa) and requested for connecting rooms but was told connecting rooms must booked with 1 family suite (1 room with 1 lounge) and 1 normal room.
Cons:
The rooms are quite old. Doors are not closed properly. Have to ensure the doors are fully closed every time.
The lifts are slow and HOT! There's no ventilation when the lift is full!!!
The walkways have no air con!!!!
The room's air con need to on full blast.
Pros:
Super convenient location. Many nice food around and opposite the hotel. Cottage Spices nonya food, hock kee gift shop, ee ji ban chicken rice, etc...
15mins walk to jonker, 5mins to shopping malls, hatten coach bay
Nice sea view at the swimming pool.
Super fast room service from the housekeeping team when I requested for more mineral water, toilet paper and shower gels.
Daily housekeeping 👍👍👍 but please knock before entering the room when we are inside as we didn't hang the sign to clean room, the staff still enter 😮😮😮😮
Affordable price $302 for 3 nights x 2 deluxe king rooms.
Place and stay is ok but the customer service absolutely worst .. the admins are very rude and doesn’t reply on time . 2 days stay the aircond never work and we slept in hot . When we text they never reply for it at all . THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. They only reply for keys and money . Not repeating again ….not suitable to stay 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
The best part was getting a tidy room close to both the elevator and stairs. More importantly, it's right in the city center, making it easy to walk everywhere. There's also parking available for cars.
Although this newly opened hotel is still under construction in some areas and on certain floors, and not fully ready for guests (for example, Wi-Fi was not available), the room was spacious with a comfortable bed. The bedsheets were clean, and the location was great. Free parking was also provided.
We had a good rest at Hallmark Crown Hotel. The room was a bit small but clean. The bedsheets and towels were clean. The water pressure was very good, the air conditioning was comfortable and the service was above satisfactory. The room has all the basic facilities and amenities.
Upon checking in, we found the room kettle was rusty but it was promptly replaced by a good one after we brought it up to the operation's attention. The sewage system disappointed us, too. On our first night, our toilet choked. But the technician came promptly and cleared the mess. The bathroom waste water took a long time to go down too but we did not make a complaint.
The continental breakfast was average but sufficient. The checking out procedure was also fuss free.
Overall, Hallmark Crown provides a decent accommodation at a budget price.

Outstanding
CcarmanbaoWe went to Malaysia 🇲🇴 in Macau, China. We played in Kuala Lumpur for 3 days. By the way, we played in Malacca for 2 days. We lived with 8 people and looked for it online for a long time. We saw this room by chance. There are 3 rooms, 2 halls, 1 kitchen and 3 bathrooms. It’s too suitable for us. There is no need to compete for the bathroom. The room is large and clean. It has just been renovated. The environment is good and the facilities are well equipped. But the fly in the ointment is that the wall of a small room is seeping, because the wall is facing the bathroom of the suite. A mini washroom is hidden behind the door of the small room. The three washrooms are equipped with hot water treasures. It is no problem to take a bath with hot water. Although it is a staircase room, the owner has made an electric chair for the elderly to go up and down the stairs. The boss is an overseas Chinese. The whole process is barrier-free communication, and there is no need to see people at all. Self-check-in Help check out, come and go are WeChat exchanges, talk about mutual trust, there is something on WeChat and the boss said, the problem can be solved immediately 😊 The most important thing is that his home is downstairs. The pharmacy owner opened it himself. Downstairs is the food street. There are restaurants everywhere. There are shopping malls/night markets a few hundred meters nearby! And the price of such a big suite is not expensive! Worth staying, the experience is great 👍
AAnonymous UserGood location, walking distance to jonker street.
There's outlet and malls just located behind the accommodation, and surrounded with nice food!
Room is clean, strong aircon for the humid weather and water dispenser just outside the room.
Host is nice and responds fast to all our enquiries and requests.
CcmoalkWe had a very good stay! The place is true as its advertised photo. 5 single beds, the room has a/c and a wall fan. Wifi was great and there's smart tv. Hairdryer, microwave, fridge, hangers, towel sufficiently provided. There's simple cutleries too, but they dont look clean.
Zero hassle check in and check out, host provide entrace door and room door key password early.
There's lots of nice eateries nearby, we had nice dinner and breakfast.
A big mall, bank , and KTV just steps away.
It takes about 20mins walk to jonker street.
We will definately stay here again.
GGuest UserExcellent. A reason to stay in this particular part of town, great story behind the vision and artistic execution of this boutique hotel printed out to read in the well appointed lobby (opened 2018). Walking distance to many restaurants, bus drop off point, and historic area. Room was clean and cosy w ceiling fan as well as A/C — toilet seat a kind of perfect fit to wall with me at 5’6”, so taller people might want to opt for one of the King Rooms (presuming the bathroom there might also be a bit bigger). Communal fridge n kitchen downstairs means no buzzing noise of mini fridge in your own room, only I forgot to take my fruit with me upon check out (sorry housekeeping! I did label it!). Pleasant roof w toilet and sink upstairs to ease of hanging out, and mural! Staff very kind and calm! I appreciate it all Nest House! I’ll be back!
GGuest UserClean apartment, high floor with nice view of the sea. Provided feedback on some shortcomings from my previous stay and they took note and action on it to address the issue. Will come back again.
Ppuay siangThe location of this inn is the centre city ( just-a walking distance to the big shopping mall)
Dataran Pahlawan & nearby eateries shops
The counter staff Mr kampiun is friendly & have a smiling face when ever we approached him .
Only the amenities / facility inside the room (A04) need to improve, like bath towel supply are very old & black / the shower curtain can’t cover up the full length , so the toilet floor will get wet when after a shower .
AAnonymous UserI had a great stay at Bayu View Hotel Melaka! It’s one of the best budget hotels in the area, offering excellent value for money without compromising on comfort.
The location is a major plus – it’s easily accessible to most of the major attractions and plenty of great eating places nearby. The room was clean and comfortable with a basic setup, though it was a little on the small side.
Whether you're in Melaka for sightseeing or just a short getaway, this hotel makes a convenient and affordable choice. Recommended for travelers looking for clean, comfortable, and strategically located accommodation!
AAnonymous UserThis super low budget hotel is conveniently located along the main road of Melaka Raya, surrounded by plenty of eateries, kopitiams, convenience stores, and various shops.
However, the accommodation could use some maintenance, and cleanliness needs improvement like bathroom, bedsheets and towels. Roadside parking is available for guests.
