Hotels in Dongqian Lake Scenic Area, Ningbo

The hotel is located on the bank of Dongqian Lake, with beautiful scenery. The underground parking lot of the hotel is not open to the public, and can only park employees' vehicles, which is inconvenient on rainy days. The central air conditioning is not turned on, and the room is stuffy. The waiter brought an electric fan, but the fan was too dirty and dared not use it. There were only 4 tables of guests in the restaurant during dinner. 3 dishes were served first, and an hour later they said that the remaining dishes were gone, which affected the mood of the meal.

The hotel's facilities and environment are quite good, but the service severely falls short of the price. I didn't experience much service at all. There were more managers than service staff. As a consumer, I paid a premium for the service on Chinese New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, but there was absolutely no service to speak of. The management team outnumbered the servers; they just stood there giving orders instead of providing service. We had to pay a deposit for dinner and were given a strict dining time, yet after waiting for over an hour, not all the dishes had even arrived. The ice-cold egg tart made me wonder if it was a hotel specialty. A bunch of managers stood around pointing fingers, but not one of them noticed the service issues, leaving all customer complaints to a group of temporary staff. I came here to relax and enjoy the Spring Festival with my kids, not to find hotel problems and experience workplace politics.

The B&B is very good. Although it is not in a popular tourist area, it is quiet. It is close to the lake. Looking out from the floor-to-ceiling windows of the room, you can see the misty Dongqian Lake, which is an unbeatable view. The boss's service attitude is also very good. He upgraded the room and sent welcome fruits. The decoration is a bit Japanese, very simple and bright. The comments mentioned that you need to drive through a narrow road, which is true, but it doesn't have much impact on normal drivers. Just a suggestion, the material of the stairs can be padded with some soft materials, which is a bit loud for people with heavy feet. The walkway is all carpeted, very quiet. The heavy floor-to-ceiling windows are also very soundproof.

This stay at the Ji Hotel was truly exceptional, deserving a five-star rating! The front desk staff were friendly and polite, and check-in and check-out were quick and easy, making the entire experience very comfortable. The hotel's overall service was attentive and thorough, responding promptly to any needs and paying attention to detail. They have treadmills in the outdoor running and gym, and their washing machines and dryers cleaned clothes incredibly well, leaving them smelling wonderful! 😄 The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, with light and healthy flavors, and fresh ingredients, making for a very satisfying meal. The hotel environment was clean and tidy, with a simple yet elegant design. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, with good soundproofing, making for a very relaxing stay. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip!

I chose a good hotel for this business trip. The experience is really far beyond expectations. The fresh and elegant design of the lobby is refreshing. The self-service machine can quickly finish the check-in in 10 seconds, saving the trouble of waiting in line and the efficiency is super high. The room was clean and tidy, there was no smell, the mattress was moderately hard and soft, and two different pillows were prepared intimately. There is also a free health tea supply in the tea break area. The details are all attentive, and the price/performance ratio is directly full. I will choose here next time I travel. 👍

The hotel is integrated with Taolu Jianshe Village and the scenic area, making it very convenient for sightseeing and dining. Since it's inside the scenic area, the hotel doesn't have its own parking lot. Guests need to park in one of the two public parking lots in the scenic area, and parking is free upon scanning a QR code at the front desk when checking out. It's about a ten-minute walk from the public parking lot to the hotel, which can be inconvenient if you have luggage. I hope the hotel can offer a luggage shuttle service. The hotel facilities are new, and the rooms are spacious. The book bar offers free activities like making lacquer fans and souvenirs, and I even received a small gift when checking out.

Traveling with family, we chose a hotel that was close to our destination and reasonably priced. The room upgrade was a pleasant surprise; the room had a great view of Dongqian Lake. The lobby on the first floor had a lounge area and a children's play area. Tea, toiletries, and other amenities were provided upon request. The customer service staff were very friendly and patient. Check-in and check-out procedures were simple and convenient, and parking was easy.

1. The main advantage of the hillside rooms is the private hot spring. Other facilities, however, are quite a step down from the main Junlan building. The amenities are pretty old, and the bathroom design is poorly thought out—no mirror above the sink and no hooks or racks for towels. It fell short of my expectations. 2. The hotel lacks a kids' club, and the outdoor facilities aren't designed with families in mind, making it unsuitable for guests with children. Plus, the outdoor farm and other areas are really old, run-down, and poorly maintained. 3. Breakfast was just average, nothing special. 4. There was no butler service, and everything was just standard. They even asked for a good review, but honestly, I didn't experience any exceptional service. 5. Overall, the experience was quite mediocre. Especially the first few hillside rooms, which lack a balcony and a sofa, are very small and offer poor value for money.

A very cost-effective hotel with very good sanitary services. I originally thought it would be noisy as it faces the road, but after I checked in and closed the windows, it was still very quiet! The most important thing is that the curtains have a great light-blocking effect, so you can sleep until dawn! I am very satisfied with my stay. I will come again next time I am on a business trip.
