Hotels in Zhenhai Commercial Area, Ningbo

I arrived in the early morning, and the front desk upgraded my room. The room was large and the environment was nice. Upon entering, I noticed stains on the bedside table, which I could wipe off with a wet wipe… There was a constant rattling sound from the window. I extended my stay the following night. Next to the bed was the washbasin, and a terrible sewer stench began to rise, an unbearable smell that persisted, even clogging the sink drain didn't help. So I called the front desk, and they sent a man. I greeted him with ”Hello,” and he came in silently, chewing gum, and sprayed a lot of air freshener, which was pungent. After the air freshener smell wore off, the stench returned, making it impossible to sleep. In the afternoon, around 1 PM, construction noise became incessant; I don't know when it started, but the running water turned orange…

The room was spacious and the mattress very comfortable. Excellent value for money. The breakfast was quite extensive, even offering freshly squeezed juice. My only minor complaint is that breakfast ended too early at 9:30 AM; 10:00 AM would be much better, as many hotels offer a later finish.

Location is alright, a bit far from the centre but there is a metro station 10mins away. The room I stayed is is very spacious with a projector, pillows are super soft and all the other beddings were actually so comfortable and new, with this price it’s very value overall:) also shout out to the housekeeping ladies they were super nice and helpful! Would recommend.

I bought hotel vouchers for the Kaiyuan chain during a Trip.com livestream. I had vouchers for both Ningbo Jiulong Lake Kaiyuan Resort and Ningbo Shiqifang Kaiyuan Guan Tang, so I decided to visit both. Honestly, when it comes to the hotels themselves, I actually preferred Shiqifang Kaiyuan Guan Tang. It had an authentic, old-school charm, and even the breakfast was unique and delicious. My only complaint, and it's more than a complaint – I'm almost ready to file a formal complaint – is about the security guard at the entrance. Zhenhai District is already a bit out of the way in Ningbo, so most people drive or take ride-sharing services. One time, I called a ride-share to go to Shan Hai Jiulong Yuan. The guard just wouldn't open the gate, making the car reverse and try again five times, and it still didn't work. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore and asked him, ”Could you please open the gate manually for us?” It was only a two-meter distance, but it took him half a minute to walk over. Is that slow, unhurried pace the kind of attitude you should have at work? I stayed for two days and took a taxi six times, and not once was it smooth sailing. For a mere one or two meters, he was so slow and hesitant, or he'd make the car back up and try again. Such a great place with such terrible security! Sigh.

I've been following this hotel since it was under renovation, all the way to its opening. Today, I specifically made time to experience this international hotel. The overall experience was excellent. The lobby design is very upscale, and the staff are enthusiastic. The room layout on the upper floors is great, exceptionally quiet, and the hygiene is spotless. The breakfast was delicious, featuring our Ningbo-style glutinous rice balls, and the handmade wontons were fantastic. It's definitely worth recommending to everyone and worth staying at. A pride for Zhenhai locals.

The hotel is next to the lake, the air is good in the morning, and it is closer to Putuo Mountain. Yaduo late night porridge: We arrived late and missed it, but the honey water was good.

Zangqi is the Haishang where I used to stay. It has changed to Shilili Group. The room is quite big, but the breakfast is not very rich. The hotel staff are very friendly and the check-in is very fast Even if the hotel does not ban smoking, the smell of cigarettes is always a problem. I hope it will be improved in the future.

The front desk staff were very welcoming, offering bottled water, snacks, and two mooncakes. The place was clean and hygienic, with surprisingly thoughtful amenities: charging cables were provided by the bedside, and there were special hooks for drying clothes… The mattress and pillows were of high quality, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet area. Highly recommended!

The stay experience was superb, the room was very clean and tidy, the corner was dust-free, the front desk staff was very good, and any needs could be responded in time, especially intimate! Check-in is fast and not delayed, the details are very warm, check out and send warm water, breakfast is rich, cost-effective, fresh ingredients taste good, next time I will choose Atour!

The elderly requested breakfast when booking. Thanks to the front desk for informing them in time that they would not have time for breakfast if they had to catch an early train, as it was an hour away from the train station.
