Hotels Near Surau Darul-Hidayah in Petaling Jaya

Booked this hotel for my dad and he requested for 2nd time booking so I guess this hotel have fulfilled his expectation. 👍🏻

Had a great time with my kids here. Room are clean just that the small pillow a little smelly. Air cond was superb very very cold even at 20 degrees. Water heater not that hot even set to the max. Tv channels were plenty from netflix.

It cost me RM133.20 for a night in a deluxe king bed room. This including breakfast. It sound good, yet there are some points that I personally don't appreciate. 1. Location. The way to the hotel is quite misleading, even with the help of Google Map and waze. I miss a few important junction. No roadsign put in place. There are lots of construction projects around the hotel. 2.poor car park. The condition of the car park is similar to a old building. Dirty and dim light. 3.room. the bed is clean and comfortable. However, the facilities is old and some switches doesn't work well. Wi-Fi is slow, I can't stream YouTube smoothly. I have to turn on my own data plan to avoid frustration. 4. I request for a iron and ironning board. The ironning board seems dirty and old (chocolate coloring on the cover). 5. No safe box in the room. I can't have my important thing in the room when I was out. 6. Breakfast is poor for a hotel standard. The food is at street level. Plates are cold and few selection of food. Local food like fried rice, Nasi lemak, porridge, fruit. Coffee and tea. I can have better standard at mamak stall/restautant outside. Not worth to include breakfast with the room. In general, I would not recommend this hotel. I book this place because my friends are living nearby (15mims drive radius) and easy to access to hotel after a late night activities in the town.

It was the best stay for me as the unit was extremely clean and subtle. Truly loved the ambiance that I had no regrets of extending another one night. Definitely worth coming back.

After staying in the same hotel for the last 30 years…..a little sad to see the hotel growing old……aircon not adjustable, room service very poor (check in without even basic tea bag, 2nd day shock to see they clean the bed but forgot the toilet with no changed towels and no water replenishment)

Friendly staff, It's a good hotel, it's value for money,the hotel clean & tidy, the only thing is, tv chanel not so good, but it's not a big deal for us, and suitable for family, friends, & couples, the hotel located at a strategic area, opposite the mc Donald at ss2, or dking durian, overall is good, recommended ✅✅👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, with grocery stores within walking distance. However, the price is on the higher side, and you could find better options at similar rates elsewhere. The room is comfortable for a short stay of 1-2 days, especially if you're in Kuala Lumpur for business.

Great Hotel and very convenient for everything. Many GOOD Food evwrywhere.... Nice decoration & very neat. Convenient underground parking for All those coming by own car. Will definitely come Back to This Hotel Anytime i visit PJ area....easy to also Travel to KL area for a walk....Hotel staffs are fantastic. Very friendly and helpfull... keep it great!👍

I recently stayed at Dorset Hotel Subang Jaya and had an exceptional experience, thanks to the outstanding staff. On June 30, 2024, I realized that I had left my jewelry in the hotel room after checking out. In a panic, I called the hotel and spoke with Mr. Azam, the Guest Service Agent. His calming demeanor and willingness to help immediately put me at ease. Within minutes, Mr. Azam, along with Ms. Saherah, the Senior Security Officer, assured me that they were on it. Their thorough check revealed that Ms. Shanti, the diligent Housekeeping Maid, had found my jewelry and promptly reported it to her manager, Mr. Tarmizee, the Assistant Housekeeping Manager. The swift and professional actions didn’t stop there. Ms. Shanti and Mr. Tarmizee handed over the jewelry to Mr. Zairul Azli, the Assistant Safety & Security Manager, for verification. To ensure the highest level of security, Mr. Zairul reviewed the CCTV footage to confirm that no one else had entered the room after I checked out. This meticulous attention to detail and the seamless coordination among the staff members were truly remarkable. Their honesty, efficiency, and dedication turned a stressful situation into a reassuring experience. I am deeply grateful to Mr. Azam, Ms. Saherah, Ms. Shanti, Mr. Tarmizee, and Mr. Zairul Azli for their exceptional service and assistance. It’s been my first time in Kuala Lumpur and I’m glad that I chose this hotel. The room’s very spacious, clean and it smells great. The staff’s highly welcoming and helpful. It’s quiet and I was able to have a good rest. Thank you a lot!
