This hotel has very obvious pros and cons. Even during peak season, the price wasn't expensive, and the staff service was quite good. The free daily shuttle to Karon Beach is a nice touch, but the latest return time is 4:30 PM, which is quite early. However, there are also many issues. The room facilities are a bit old, the air conditioning cools slowly, only three hangers are provided, and there are only two free bottles of mineral water per day. The showerhead is difficult to adjust, resulting in a weak spray from individual nozzles. The location is relatively remote; the nearest 7-Eleven requires crossing a main road and then walking a bit further, but you will pass a local market, which is a plus. Wat Chalong is within walking distance, but for other attractions, you generally need to take a taxi, and they aren't always easy to find. A 2000 THB cash deposit is required upon check-in, though I later managed to change it to an equivalent amount in local currency. Overall, if you have high standards for accommodation quality during your travels, I would not recommend choosing this hotel.

The Hotel was a good place to stay. We stayed in a 3 bed apartment type room. The rooms were big and comfortable. The Swimming pool was also clean. The location was near main attractions like Big Buddha and Wat Chalong temple. One thing to consider is that there aren't many local Shops nearby.

Parking is convenient, the rooms are spacious, and the price is affordable, but it can be a bit noisy due to the street.

Ant Paradise for 1000 Baht, or How I Spent a Night in a Renovation Project Cozy Bay Rawai Hotel is the most honest representative of the 'lottery' category. You might love it, or you might not. I didn't particularly. What the photos showed: stylish designer renovation, pristine white walls, and a cozy atmosphere. What I actually got: a slapdash renovation and furniture hastily assembled before opening. Let's get down to facts. Price: 1000 baht per night. Seems decent, right? But once you dig deeper, you realize you overpaid by at least 300. Room: Spacious, no complaints there. But the furniture is genuinely old. Not antique old, but more like 'it was somewhere else before, then moved here' old. Scratches on the nightstands, closet doors that don't close properly on the first try. Why put old furniture in a new hotel? To save money? Alright, moving on. The only thing that's actually new is the appliances. The AC cools like a beast, the TV works, the fridge freezes. Thumbs up there. But then the question arises: why a new TV if you can't properly watch it from the bed? OUTLETS – This is a nightmare. Seriously, who designed this electrical layout? One outlet by the bed, and it's occupied by a lamp. The second one is God knows where, under the table in the corner. To charge my phone and power bank simultaneously, I had to unplug the fridge. Ants: There are a lot of them here, seriously. I wouldn't complain if this were a guesthouse in the jungle for 300 baht. But for 1000 baht, I expect that a brigade of special forces won't be marching across my toothbrush. I left a chocolate bar on the table – an hour later, it was crawling. Housekeeping: What housekeeping? It wasn't done once in three days. The floor wasn't cleaned, no shampoo was provided, and the trash wasn't emptied. About the area: Quiet, genuinely quiet at night, though there's a small construction site nearby during the day. If you're looking for parties, you're in the wrong place. This is strictly for sleeping. A motorbike is absolutely essential, otherwise, you'll die of boredom and hunger (no breakfast, I remind you). Conclusion for those who read this far: The hotel is hyped up due to its newness. The furniture is old, there are no outlets, and the ants feel like they own the place. The appliances are fine, the staff smiles (presumably so you don't chew them out), and the area is quiet. For 1000 baht, it's okay. If you just want a place to sleep and don't care about the little things, go for it. If you value yourself and your sleep with a charged phone, look for another option. Rating: 7/10, because the appliances are new.

My stay at Chalong Marina Bay View Phuket in a 'Two-Bedroom Private Pool Villa' was truly amazing, and it's definitely going on my must-stay list for Phuket! 🏡 Room and Private Pool Facilities: The villa was incredibly spacious (around 93 sqm), with a modern, luxurious design that incorporated marble and refined metallic accents, giving it a very high-end feel. The best part was the exclusive private pool – the water was sparkling clean and offered ultimate privacy. Waking up and jumping straight into the pool, or spending the afternoon sunbathing by the pool without the crowds of a public pool, was perfect for couples or families who value privacy. The room also thoughtfully included a kitchen, microwave, and washing machine, which was incredibly convenient for washing clothes after island-hopping excursions. 📍 Location and Surroundings: The hotel is located in the Chalong area, far from the hustle and bustle of Patong, offering a very quiet and peaceful environment. It's very close to Chalong Pier, just a few minutes' walk or drive, making it extremely convenient for island-hopping trips to Coral Island and Racha Island. While it's not in a busy commercial district, there's a 7-Eleven convenience store just a short walk away, and you can also find massage parlors and charming cafes nearby.

We stayed at this hotel in 2019 and decided to return in 2025. The rooms are still just as spacious and clean. Housekeeping, bottled water, and fresh towels and linens are provided daily. The pool is clean. Nearby, there are cafes, a laundry service, 7/11, and massage parlors. You can also rent scooters directly from the hotel. It's a 5-15 minute ride to the beaches by transport.

The owner, meaning the man at the reception, is very strict about order. There are cameras, he sees everything, and if anything happens, he'll say someone is coming. I was looking for a bottle opener, and the girls brought it to me. Climbing the stairs isn't easy, but it's manageable. Nearby, there are shops and cafes with local cuisine. There's also a large supermarket where you can pay by card. It's far from the beach, but you can walk or drive to the Big Buddha. Overall, I liked it; issues were resolved, but it's definitely better if you have a scooter. Cats might even visit!

Hidden gem, highly recommend! This is hands down the best value-for-money hotel for a relaxing getaway. It's even better than the 1-2k baht hotels I've stayed at before on Patong Beach! The hotel offers paid services like a restaurant, sauna, and ice bath, all with excellent service and quality. The facilities and environment are also fantastic, and the rooms are clean, hygienic, and comfortable. Just book it, you won't regret it!
