This hotel offers excellent value for money; the room rates are affordable, and it's even more cost-effective for long-term stays. The rooms are spacious, the bedding is clean, and the balcony is large and comfortable. Toiletries are well-stocked, and the in-house coffee is delicious. It's quiet at night, and there's a 7-Eleven not too far away. The surrounding area is full of Muay Thai gyms, affordable massage parlors, and laundromats, making daily life very convenient.

The staff here are all very friendly and extremely enthusiastic. We especially appreciate Rach's proactive and friendly service. Although the lobby is a bit far from the rooms and we had to call the front desk every time we went out or came back, the shuttle service arrived very quickly and never delayed us. Even when we returned late, there were always staff members on standby to drive us back to our room immediately. The hotel provides shuttle services to and from the Old Town and Central Festival. It would be even better if we could take the shuttle to the Old Town and then be picked up from Central Festival on the return trip. The room was spacious, clean, and the air conditioning was excellent, though the water pressure was a bit weak. The hotel environment is quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax. I would definitely want to stay at this hotel again!

I recently stayed at Villa Sonata Phuket and had a wonderful experience. The private pool villa was spacious, clean, and offered a peaceful atmosphere that was perfect for relaxing. The surrounding greenery and quiet environment made it feel like a hidden retreat away from the busy tourist areas. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help whenever needed. The villa was well-equipped with everything required for a comfortable stay, and the private pool added a special touch to the overall experience. The location in Chalong is convenient for exploring different parts of Phuket while still enjoying privacy and tranquility. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with a private pool, beautiful surroundings, and excellent service, I would definitely recommend Villa Sonata Phuket. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Phuket.

I have really mixed feelings about my stay here. I stayed for 4 nights and absolutely loved the hotel grounds, which are essentially in the jungle. Beautiful plants and pathways, pleasant to walk along, plus I got a villa with simply stunning views from the balcony, where I spent a lot of time. I'm not afraid of insects or other animals, so all the wildlife only delighted me and wasn't a problem (but it's worth bringing mosquito repellent; there was also a plug-in fumigator in the villa itself; and don't leave windows and doors open too long in the evening with the lights on, to avoid attracting insects). On the contrary, I enjoyed the feeling of being in a quiet forest and observing life around me. I had very little interaction with the staff, but the communication was pleasant and comfortable; I was greeted by a very welcoming administrator. Upon check-in, they took a 1000 baht cash deposit, which was returned without issue at the end after confirming everything was fine. However, the hotel itself gives the impression of being a bit forgotten, a relic of past luxury. The villa was very atmospheric and spacious, but inside, there was almost no comfortable or functional furniture or decor, making the space feel less cozy and somewhat uninhabited. The dim lighting in almost all the lamps in the house added to the uncozy feeling; I wanted a brighter bulb, especially by the mirrors. Some lamps didn't work. The jacuzzi was nice and beautiful, but I really missed having a bathrobe and slippers so I didn't have to step onto the floor barefoot or get dressed in regular clothes, and could just relax on the balcony in a robe. The jacuzzi was missing a headrest, and there were many small details like this that should either be in the room or were there before, but are now gone. Also, the bed was clearly moved to another wall, so the wall sconces were on the wrong wall, which wasn't very convenient. There were two stools in the bedroom, but not a single bedside table, so I had to use a stool. The outlets worked very poorly; I only found a few where I could charge all my devices. A bedside outlet was sorely missed. There was no shelf in the refrigerator, but it was good that it worked, and there were other dishes, a kettle, and dish soap with a sponge. Upon check-in, they provided two bottles of water, which isn't much considering cleaning isn't daily, but then they left more at the villa door, which was nice. However, tea and coffee were only replenished with cleaning. The pool is very beautiful; though there were fallen leaves, the water was clean. It's elevated, so you can swim and look out at the forest, listening to birdsong. There's a bird zoo right next to it. Nearby is a very beautiful pagoda, but when I went up there, all the pavilions were closed, and the area itself was dirty. Perhaps this was due to the start of the low season, but the large empty spaces felt unsettling, even though there were other guests at the hotel. The grounds were maintained, but it felt a little insufficient. Near the hotel grounds is a modern shopping mall with many cafes and a large Tops supermarket, and a 7-11 across the street. But besides that, there's nothing else to do around; the hotel is remote, and without a motorbike/taxi, you feel too far from civilization. Despite the downsides I've described, I would still recommend staying here for a couple of nights to enjoy the solitude and proximity to beautiful nature, and to get to everything else by motorbike (especially if you plan to visit Naka Market, which is open on weekends). If these unfortunate points are taken into account and fixed, a stay in such a beautiful villa would bring even more positive emotions!

Let me start by saying, I'd definitely stay here again next time. This hotel offers excellent value for money and its location is super convenient, right by the sea. Just look at my photos, taken from the balcony in the early morning – such peaceful beauty. The hotel is newly built and very clean, with large rooms, perfect for anyone coming to dive and heading out to sea daily. I booked this hotel because it's very close to the pier for my diving trip to Phuket. I also arranged an airport transfer to the hotel. It's just a short turn off the main road down to the beachfront. In the mornings, I could walk to the dive shop, passing Chalong Pier, and it was even closer walking back to the hotel from the pier after diving. The room was very spacious. The one we booked had a large bed and two single bunk beds. There was also a single bed above the large bed, but I felt it was a bit short, suitable for children but not adults. The room was very clean, with a separate wet and dry area. It had a separate toilet, and the shower room even had a bathtub. It was designed so you could soak while looking at the sea, but I didn't use it. If you did want to bathe, privacy might be a slight issue. The hotel staff were also excellent, very polite and meticulous. Everyone there seemed to speak in soft tones, which was really nice. Check-in was very fast, and the air conditioning was already on in the room. Walking in was like entering a refrigerator, so we quickly turned it down, haha. If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be the wooden bed frames in the room. They have sharp edges and could easily cause scratches. My son scraped his knee on the wood, but it wasn't a big deal. Still, families with children should be careful. There aren't many businesses around here. There's a 7-Eleven within a 10-minute walk and a few small shops mostly frequented by locals. We went out for food one evening, and with the language barrier, we were a bit hesitant to order 🤦♂️. The young lady selling fried skewers looked at us, foreigners, and we couldn't communicate, so we just smiled at each other, which was quite fun, hahaha.

We chose to stay here because our child was attending a summer school nearby. This Courtyard is a newly opened hotel, so the facilities are brand new. The rooms are spacious and come with a balcony. The pool and kids' club are a bit small, but the amenities are complete, and it's very close to Chalong Pier. There are a few things to note: there's no spa inside the hotel; breakfast isn't a buffet, it's à la carte, so you have to wait for your order. We stayed on a high floor, and during rain, water would accumulate in the public hallway. The surrounding area is quite secluded with few shops, making it inconvenient for dining, shopping, and getting around without a car. Renting a car is highly recommended.

Basic facilities, but the balcony was super convenient for drying dive gear. Plenty of hot water too. They did ask for a 2000 PHP deposit, which I found a bit odd for such a small guesthouse. The front desk service was fine and met all my needs. Overall, it met my expectations.

The hotel's location is a bit average, and there's road construction right outside, which made getting around quite inconvenient. However, the soft services were excellent: 1. There's a free shuttle bus to Naiharn Beach (which is also a nice beach). 2. The pool is very clean. 3. The staff are very attentive and caring.
