We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and were very glad it was only four. After checking in, our first impression of everything – the room, the hotel itself, the sun loungers, and the pool – made us want to leave immediately without even unpacking. The entire hotel hasn't been updated since it opened. Everything is very worn out, old, and dismal. The bed linen had holes. The shower water was a whole other story – it smelled like a swamp. The only positive was that you could step right out of your room onto the beach. But I have to give credit where it's due – the cleaning staff were great, they really tried, and even made towel elephants! However, it seems the owner has decided not to invest anything into maintaining the property's standards. The price-quality ratio is completely off. I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone!

The hotel's linen had quite a few small stains, and even after I requested a change, the new set was still stained. As for amenities, the three swimming pools offer plenty of entertainment. The location is unbeatable, with the beach just across the road. Breakfast was standard.

This place is nice and spacious and would be good for 3/4 nights. It is well situated between a few different beaches too so very easy to get to desirable areas. The pool etc looks good although I didn't actually go in. All the drinks etc and spa packages are a bit too expensive and don't quite match the vibe the hotel provides. The rooms are a bit dated and the details are missing. For example the toilet seat and cover won't stay up. I.e. if you're sitting the toilet seat cover is going to fall on you. If you're standing you're going to have to hold the seats up. The pillows are hard and there is two pillows on a large bed rather than four. Consistently, little things like this that don't ruin your stay but you do notice compared to other hotels.

I chose this hotel after staying at the one next door, because I loved it so much, I couldn't take my eyes off it! It was the best decision during my vacation in Thailand. Beautiful pool, huge rooms, pleasant staff, and a magical breakfast.

Excellent hotel with great customer service. All staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. However, the hotel could improve the buggy service and provide better sheltered walkways, especially during the rainy season. Since many guests are families with young children, this would make moving around the resort much more comfortable and convenient. Overall, a wonderful stay and we would be happy to return in the future.

I have no idea how room allocation works here. What matters is that you should keep your promises if you agree to do something, or simply say no in the first place. I was repeatedly told I could get a room in the front building, and the staff even took my tip, yet they never fulfilled the promise. Instead, they kept making excuses and passing the buck, acting as if my request was unreasonable. This experience is truly disappointing.

My kids chose Phuket for their holiday, and we’d stayed at Kata Beach before, so this time we wanted to try Karon Beach. After a thorough selection process on Trip.com, and considering the competitive pricing, we ultimately picked the Karon Beach Resort. Here's a summary of our hotel experience for your reference: **Location:** The hotel is centrally located on Karon Beach, an excellent spot, just a two to three-minute walk to the beach. The resort is quite large and has two entrances: a main gate for vehicles and a smaller gate leading to the beach. Both entrances have very helpful security guards who even salute us when we enter and exit, which adds a nice touch. Outside the small beach gate, you'll find massage parlors and restaurants on both sides, which is very convenient. There are also 7-Elevens near both gates. **Service:** The service was average, nothing particularly outstanding. The front desk staff were all male, and their attitude was a bit stiff, without much enthusiasm. However, this wasn't a big deal and didn't affect our stay or experience. **Facilities:** The hotel is a bit older, and some of the facilities are a bit dated. But we didn't spend much time in the hotel anyway, so it didn't impact our experience. The room was spacious, and we chose one with direct pool access. The pool was also quite large, which was a good experience. A unique feature in Phuket is that rooms don't typically allow three people. As a family of three with a 15-year-old child, we had to pay for an extra bed. Interestingly, each room already has a third bed, and if you request the extra bed service, staff will make it up with a pillow and blanket after you check in. The extra bed fee was 800 Thai Baht per person per day. **Dining:** Reviews mentioned that the hotel breakfast was excellent. From my personal experience, it was decent – nothing extraordinary, but not bad either. The service was good, the breakfast variety was acceptable, and the taste was fine. For a hotel in this price range, it was pretty good. **Summary:** Personally, I feel this hotel offers good value for money. My family thought Karon Beach was better overall – the beach is less crowded and quieter, perfect for surfing. I'd suggest bringing a swimming ring if you can't swim, as the waves can be quite exciting. This quiet beach is ideal for a relaxing holiday, much calmer than Kata Beach. Surrounding amenities like massage, restaurants, and shopping are all very convenient. I personally liked it a lot, and our stay was satisfying. It's worth recommending.

I loved this place! The staff are incredibly responsive and friendly. A big thank you to Harry, May, Hazel, and all the other wonderful people! 💕 About the hotel: Rooms are clean, with no cockroaches or other critters. They clean the rooms daily, and bed linens are changed every 3 days. There's a designated smoking area. In the lobby, you can grab a bite to eat – there's a good restaurant next door. There's also a pool. And you can smoke at the tables in the pool area. Nearby, there are plenty of 7/11 stores, Watsons, cafes, and best of all, the beach, all within walking distance. I definitely recommend it. For the price, it's really good! ☀️

Our room was on the 4th floor, and the duvet was slightly damp. There was a faint, almost unnoticeable musty smell when we first entered, but it disappeared after a short while. I don't think the room felt old; some minor wear on the corners was negligible – you're not staring at the corners anyway. Overall, the room was quite clean; we didn't see any bugs or ants, probably because we were on the 4th floor. The mirror faced the bed, but I didn't mind; I wouldn't even know some people find this an issue if I hadn't read other reviews. We brought a water filter, but the hotel's water came out clean and colorless. Our filter would turn yellowish after about 2 days, but subsequent daily changes kept it mostly clear. My family even brushed their teeth directly with tap water, and we had no issues. The hotel environment was also excellent, giving a real vacation vibe. The kids loved the pool, and there were taps right by the poolside for rinsing feet and showering, which was very convenient. We could easily wash off sand from our feet after coming back from the beach. Breakfast was indeed quite 'Western' (or 'white people food'), and after two meals, we weren't keen on it anymore, so we ate breakfast out for the rest of our stay. There's a 7-Eleven to the left of the hotel entrance and a 'You & Me' laundromat next to it. If you turn right out of the hotel, then left at the intersection and walk a bit, you'll find 'Hungry Corner,' a restaurant we ate at for five days because it was delicious. Some other restaurants near the hotel weren't great, so I recommend checking Google ratings. The hotel staff were all very nice. For the price, I think this hotel offers excellent value for money.

We arrived at the hotel. At first, it seemed like a regular hotel, but when we saw our private rooftop lounge area, we were really surprised and decided that the hotel was definitely worth it, even better than the price (the price was quite cheap). We really loved the hotel. The location is excellent! There's a 7/11 nearby and Karon Beach is just 5 minutes away. Wonderful!

The room was unexpectedly large, the bathroom was super big and there was a bathtub. I stayed in a few hotels and this bed was the most comfortable. I especially liked the quilt so soft and dry. The street view room is still a bit noisy facing the road, but I think it is bright, the opposite is 711, and there is a restaurant Baan bang 100 meters on the left. It is more suitable to go to dinner, because there is almost no air conditioning. Go to the beach 600 meters, but there is no place to wash your feet. This time I saw the store brother. The arranged durian service is in place for a durian every day. I have to let the store go to the grandmother's house to buy it. If you are lucky, the price and weight are amazing. Of course, you will give the staff a certain tip.

This was the most pleasant surprise of our Thailand trip! The room was incredibly spacious, thoughtfully divided into a living area, a washroom area, and a bedroom. The decor was modern with warm tones, making it very comfortable. Plus, we had a complimentary mini-bar refilled daily during our stay. All the rooms here are individual villas, offering great privacy. Breakfast was a mix of à la carte and a simple buffet, primarily Thai cuisine, and the taste was excellent. My girlfriend and I both agreed we'd definitely stay here again next time.

The hostel is great, and the owner makes it even better. I met so many people while staying here. It's completely safe, with lockers and Wi-Fi, plus free tea and coffee. The beach is just across the road, which is a huge bonus, and everything you need can be bought nearby at reasonable prices – including fruits and places to eat if you get hungry. If I ever go to Phuket again, I'd only stay here!

The hotel is good value for money, the towels, 2 bottles of water and new sheets are provided daily. The bathroom soap, shampoo are also provided, but they can forget to put the new ones, but you can ask for them. The location is good, but it is 10 mins walk to the beach (Karon) by a busy street full of traffic, but there are a lot of restaurants and pharmacies as well. The balcony has a good view.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel, and there were many things we really enjoyed. The hotel is located right next to Karon Beach, which is absolutely beautiful with soft sand and clear water. The only downside is that there are not many restaurants within walking distance. If you’re looking for more local food options, you’ll need to travel about 1 km to the nearby night market. We also appreciated the hotel’s commitment to environmental protection. However, please note that toiletries and other amenities are not automatically replenished every day. You need to request them from the front desk if you need replacements. One of the highlights of our stay was the restaurant on the second floor. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and attentive, and there was a wide variety of choices. We enjoyed both the breakfast and dinner there throughout our stay. The only issue that significantly affected our experience was the floor. Every morning, a large puddle of water would appear on the floor outside the bathroom. One of my roommates almost slipped while walking to the bathroom after waking up. We reported the problem to the front desk, and someone came to wipe the water with a towel, but the cause of the leak was never investigated or fixed. Unfortunately, the same issue happened again on the third morning, and the puddle was even larger than before. Overall, this is a lovely hotel with a great location, excellent restaurant, and friendly service. If the bathroom water leakage issue is properly resolved, it would make the stay much more enjoyable.

This hotel doesn't offer Chinese-speaking staff, but they have their own app with built-in translation, which is quite convenient for communication. The hotel is situated on a steep hill, but they provide a buggy service to take you anywhere within the property, which is handy. They also offer a daily shuttle bus to Karon and Patong, adding to the convenience. The staff are all very enthusiastic, helping with luggage, holding umbrellas, opening car doors, and always providing service with a smile. Any request is met with immediate service. However, the hygiene aspect was a letdown. Firstly, due to being by the sea, the shower water had a rusty smell and was very yellow. Secondly, the cleaning lady for the first few days was excellent; she changed our bed linen even when we hadn't specifically requested it. But on the last day, a different lady cleaned our room, and it was truly speechless. She told us she was done, and I was puzzled by how quickly she finished. When I pulled back the duvet, I saw perfect square folds on the sheet, until I noticed my yellow ointment (allergy cream) on it. I immediately stopped her and asked her to change it. She told me to wait ten minutes, then came back with only a new duvet cover. I asked about the sheets and pillowcases, and she told me to wait another five minutes. Finally, they were changed. It just felt unnecessary to make perfectly folded square creases if she wasn't going to change the bedding, making me think it had been changed! I strongly suspect this is a common shortcut. The hygiene is concerning; I advise everyone to carefully lift the bedding and check it when you check in, don't just go by the folds, as the folds are fake…

Traveling solo to Phuket, this was my first hotel and it was a great choice! The price was affordable, and the environment was excellent. It's very close to Karon Beach, just a short walk through a pedestrian street with plenty of food and drinks, shops for swimming gear, and convenience stores. It's also near a bus stop, making it super convenient to get to other beaches, including Chalong Pier and Phuket Town. Perfect for anyone looking for good value for money. Right across the street is a 7-Eleven with everything you could need. A short stroll will take you to Karon Beach to watch the sunset – the most beautiful scenery is right here! You can also walk to the food street to experience the local culture of Phuket. The hotel environment is also very good, and there's a balcony with a lovely view.

I chose this hotel cos it's the most affordable in Karon and it's very convenient to go anywhere. It's the first time staying there. The room is spacious, however it's quite an old hotel. As it's an old hotel, of cos there's stains on pillow cases. Water pressure is not good. Location wise, it's just across the beach, and it's nearby eateries and 7-11s. The hotel has got a small pool and an unusable gym.
