Hotels in Rawai Beach, Phuket

The property is located directly on the beachfront, which is definitely its strongest point. The room we were assigned has a partial sea view. Unfortunately, part of the view also includes some rather neglected surroundings, but the beauty of the ocean largely makes up for it. In terms of services, there are a few shortcomings. The toilet tends to clog easily, and some amenities that are quite standard in many hotels are missing, such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, or disposable slippers. Instead, the hotel provides a beach basket with towels and a pair of plastic flip-flops to use during the stay. However, these flip-flops are not new, and it is unclear whether they are properly sanitized between guests. Overall, it can still be a convenient option for people who work and want to have the sea literally a few steps from their room, with the possibility of reaching the beach in just seconds. That said, some aspects related to maintenance and attention to detail could definitely be improved to make the experience more comfortable.

I stayed at Z&Z Hotel during New Year and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The room was not clean. The floor and furniture had visible stains, and the overall condition felt neglected. Towels were limited in number and some of them looked old and not properly clean. The biggest issue was the air conditioner. It started leaking water directly from the unit. I reported this to the staff, and they said the problem was fixed. However, the air conditioner continued leaking throughout the all nights. Water was dripping, the floor became wet, and it was impossible to sleep properly. Service was very limited, especially considering it was a New Year stay. The response was slow and the issue was not actually resolved. Overall, the hotel did not meet basic expectations for cleanliness and comfort. I would not choose this hotel again, especially during peak holiday periods.

The hotel's location is excellent; it's convenient for enjoying sea views, dining, and shopping. It's also very close to a 7-Eleven and just a few minutes by scooter to Nai Harn Beach and Yanui Beach. The hotel's interior is well-maintained and stylish, and the beachside pool area truly gives off a vacation vibe. The air conditioning in the room works great. There was a slight hiccup during check-in: after I showed my ID and booking confirmation, they initially claimed they didn't have a partnership with Trip.com, which confused me. However, after reviewing my booking confirmation multiple times and making a phone call, they confirmed everything was fine. Overall, the check-in experience was good, and I'm happy with my stay.

The resort has 2 pools, and most rooms are pool-access. The price before Chinese New Year was 440 a night, which is decent value for money. It's very close to Rawai Beach, with a 7-Eleven and sea-view restaurants right outside. Now for the downsides: 1. No clothes rack in the room, so no way to wash and dry clothes. 2. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast. 3. For a family of three, there's an extra charge of 150 THB for the child, but no extra bed is provided. 4. I subtly got the feeling that Chinese guests aren't particularly welcome. This is just my personal feeling and for reference only.

We have stayed at this hotel many times, and it has also been a favorite vacation place for our parents. Year after year, nothing really changes here, and that is a good thing. The level of service is consistently outstanding, and the people working at the hotel are truly wonderful, friendly, and professional. The rooms are clean, the facilities are great, and everything is well organized. The food in the restaurants is very tasty, with a good variety at breakfast. The spa and gym are excellent and well equipped. Overall, everything is truly wonderful. The only thing that surprised and slightly disappointed us this year was the situation with sunbeds. Many guests leave their towels on the sunbeds early in the morning and then disappear for long periods of time. As a result, the best shaded spots are occupied almost the entire morning, even though no one actually uses them. This issue does not seem to be controlled, and it can be quite frustrating. Perhaps the hotel could consider addressing this problem more actively. That said, this is more a matter of guests’ behavior and etiquette. In all other aspects, the service is excellent as always. A truly wonderful place that we are happy to return to again and again!

Facilities: The hotel facilities are very complete, with breakfast served every morning. There's a 7-Eleven right at the entrance, making it super convenient for buying things. Cleanliness: The room was very clean, and the cleaning staff came to tidy up every day. Ambiance: The environment is beautiful, with trees and flowers, and there's a pool right downstairs for swimming. Service: The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and they speak Chinese, which made communication easy. You can also rent scooters for convenient transportation, and you're just a short walk away from booking a boat trip out to sea. Highly recommend staying here, the hotel is great in all aspects!!!

I've stayed at this hotel before when I was on a tour, and perhaps because I'm familiar with it, I chose to stay here again this time. Let me start with the pros: 1. During this season, the standard rooms are very affordable. The downside is that they are quite small. Both times, I've stayed in the 'Starry Sky Villa' (一户建星空别墅) room, and at this time of year, the price and amenities offer great value for money. If you're considering this hotel now, I'd recommend trying that room type. 2. The standard twin room I stayed in for the last few nights was a bit underwhelming, but then again, it was very cheap. 3. There are plenty of 7-Eleven stores and restaurants nearby, and massages are inexpensive. Now for the cons: 1. The hotel partners with travel agencies, so every day there are many tour groups checking in with their luggage, and the vast majority are our fellow countrymen. 2. This might be related to the third point, but the hotel seems to discriminate against Chinese guests, assigning them to poorly located rooms. 3. Breakfast is enough to fill you up, but nothing more.

There was a request for a room on the top floor, despite the fact that it was booked well in advance - they gave me a room only on the 2nd floor. I also asked for a late check-out, but I was refused, then they changed their mind, but I had already booked another hotel for half a day. There was no safe in the room - I had to ask for it, there was no furniture on the balcony in the room, the tiles on the floor in the bathroom were not fixed. The location of the hotel is not very good, the walk to the beach is far and unsafe, there is practically no roadside or it is blocked by bikes and cars, you constantly have to go out on the roadway, for this reason I used a taxi. The hotel has a swimming pool, but I was unable to use it - there was a renovation going on there. The drill was hammering away day and night during this renovation, one day I woke up at 11 pm from the sound of the drill. I give it a 5 rating only for cleanliness, cleaning is daily, thanks for that.

This is an excellent hotel, and its location is great if you're not a first-time visitor to the island and are familiar with its different areas. It's roughly centered between Chalong and Rawai. The hotel is a good fit for those coming to the island for active pursuits like diving, rather than for a beach holiday, as the nearest swimmable beach isn't particularly close. Ideally, having a scooter or car would be best for comfortable travel from the hotel to any spot on the island. The room itself is very spacious, equipped with everything you need for your stay, including a large kitchen, a huge refrigerator, a washing machine, all necessary utensils, plates, and kettles. The hotel also boasts two comfortable swimming pools, each with convenient, soft loungers (cabanas) nearby. I really enjoyed everything and highly recommend it!

Place is nice enough, fairly basic but great value at the price. breakfast is just coffee and toast and a couple of pieces of melon. The location was good and the staff friendly. they did charge me a full day on a late check out they could probably have been more flexible on and the desk prices were several hundred baht more a night than using trip.com. Which they refused to match even though my original booking is that price. A bit odd as it is cheaper to use trip.com, and on top they lose the booking fee of about 20%. All in all it was a nice enough place , clean and comfortable at a good price. I would stay hear again, just always using trip.com to book.
