Hotels in Kata Beach, Phuket

We stayed in a Cabana room with direct access to the 150m pool. The hotel is like a fairytale, as if we had stopped in a magical Baghdad. Every inch of the hotel is picture-perfect. It was a feast for the eyes; our whole family was absolutely thrilled. Everything is so well thought out; your designers and architects are simply geniuses. The grounds are beautiful, and the views along the pools are equally stunning. The room was also perfectly designed, down to every last detail. It was such a pleasure to be at the hotel, and for the first time, we didn't want to leave at all. The staff were responsive, quickly attended to all requests, and everyone was very welcoming and cheerful. There was a minor issue during check-in: despite the room having an extra bed and a child being included in the booking, their presence wasn't accounted for, and we had to pay for an extra bed, extra towels, and breakfast for the child. While it's understandable for breakfast, paying over 900 Baht/day for towels and bedding seemed a bit much. It was disappointing, but we immediately forgot all about it as soon as we immersed ourselves in the magical atmosphere of the hotel. Everything was great! For a very reasonable price, you get a spacious room with a large bed! The cleaning service is excellent every day! A special thank you! It's about a 15-minute walk to Kata Beach. Not super convenient, but decent. Good swimming pool. I can't say anything about breakfast as I booked 10 nights without it. However, you can pay for it on the spot for 300 baht. Nearby there's a large 24-hour 7-Eleven, KFC, and Kavach coffee shop with breakfast options.

The hotel is good; if the main purpose of your trip is the sea, then this is the best option. The only thing that bothered me was that they put disposal bags for sanitary pads in the room, but not the pads themselves, even though I think the pads are much more important than the disposal bag. As a woman, it would have been much more convenient for me to have at least one pad ready, rather than having to go to the store at a critical moment.

We really enjoyed our stay at Metadee Concept Hotel. The resort feels like a tropical oasis — lots of greenery and the pool is the highlight, it snakes through the entire property. There's a free transfer to the exit, and the beach is only a short walk away. Shops, massage places, and restaurants are all nearby, which is super convenient. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again!

Kata rocks was the best , it gives Santorini vibes . My stay at Kata Rocks was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely world-class. The ocean views are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset, and the infinity pool is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. The villa was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed with every luxury you could ask for. The food was outstanding, and every member of the staff made me feel welcome throughout my stay. If you’re looking for privacy, luxury, and an unforgettable experience in Phuket, Kata Rocks is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to come back!

Convenient location and a great ambiance. Every detail of the hotel shows thoughtful care. The room was elegant and comfortable, and the soft bedding was perfect for a good night's sleep. First, let's talk about the pros: the location is very close to the beach, just a few minutes' walk. The soundproofing in the hotel rooms is quite good, and there are plenty of dining options, 7-Eleven, and massage parlors nearby. Now, for the hotel's issues: initially, when I booked through Ctrip, I requested the Eagle Tower because I saw reviews mentioning it had been recently renovated. Walking with the hotel staff, I wasn't sure if we were indeed assigned to the Eagle Tower, but it was a corner room, quite a distance from the lobby. Also, despite explicitly requesting twin beds, they gave me a king-size bed. After communicating this, they arranged for me to stay in the Man Tower, which was very close to the lobby. These rooms were near the restaurant, so I agreed, considering I was traveling with elderly family members and a child. However, as many reviews mentioned, the room always felt very damp, even with the air conditioning on constantly. The bedding always felt cold and clammy, and there was a strange, musty smell in the room. I even wondered if I was imagining it, but it definitely smelled like mold. On the first day of check-in, due to the high occupancy, there were many people checking in. The staff were visibly busy, so the slow pace was understandable. However, the poolside area at the hotel is incredibly slippery. Not just for children, but adults walking on the wet surface found it very slippery. I'm not sure who designed the hotel and chose such tiles. My child fell and hit the back of their head, resulting in a large bump. During the process of taking them to the hospital, I found that the hotel had no emergency plan for such incidents. Fortunately, the X-ray showed no serious injury. After feedback to the platform, the hotel reimbursed me for the medical and X-ray expenses for my child and offered late check-out because I didn't have receipts for the taxi fare. However, this incident disrupted our plans for the next two days! If you're looking for a hotel with a pool and slide for your child, proceed with caution, as the risk is higher than at most places. Additionally, there were no toothbrushes in the room; you had to ask the front desk for them. Out of the four power outlets, three weren't working – either too loose or broken. I didn't bother to complain because I found the communication process tedious. Both rooms I booked had this issue.

A hotel with impeccable attention to detail! From the moment you arrive, whether checking in or out, a staff member is there to help with your luggage. The room was incredibly clean. I stayed in room 104, which had a great view. There were a few stairs to climb, but it was perfectly acceptable! I sent an email in advance, and the room was indeed decorated – a lovely touch! The breakfast also catered to our tastes and was actually quite good, with a bit of variety each day. The shower water was clean, and the toilet paper was thick Vinda brand – every detail was well thought out. Plus, laundry service was free. You just put your clothes in the laundry bag and let them know. It's a shame we only stayed for two days this time, but the experience was absolutely fantastic! I'll definitely recommend it to friends and will be back again!
