oncheungThe hotel is clean and tidy, the sea view is good, the person in charge is very polite, and the self-driving tour to this hotel feels good for it. It is convenient to go to the south of Phuket to play the attractions.

Guest UserFor the latter half of our trip to Phuket, we switched to the Marina Phuket Resort, nestled between Kata and Karon beaches.
Firstly, this hotel boasts a traditional Thai style, built on a hillside with a rich tropical rainforest vibe. Strolling through the grounds feels like being immersed in a romantic jungle. The architecture is distinctly Thai, and the landscaping offers beautiful scenery at every turn. What truly stands out is that the rear of the hotel connects directly to Karon Beach. Come sunset, gazing out at the horizon, the crimson twilight merges with the sea, waves caress the golden sand, and the dark cliff rocks add to a stunning, unparalleled view. You can walk along the soft, fine sand or enjoy playing in the water – it's perfect. Next door, there's a restaurant that hosts fireworks and fire-breathing shows in the evenings, so if your timing is right, you can enjoy them for free.
Secondly, the hotel's service is generally attentive and gentle, very much in the Thai style – perfect for a relaxed, slow-paced vacation. Guests receive complimentary dinner daily at the Red Chopsticks restaurant right outside, offering a fusion of cuisines that's pretty decent. Breakfast is served by the pool, though the selection isn't extensive.
Finally, I personally feel this hotel is better suited for older families or couples seeking a quiet retreat. For families with young children, there aren't many play areas, and due to its hillside location, it might be inconvenient for the elderly to move around.

Guest UserOur stay at Anantara Layan Phuket Resort was fantastic! The room was spacious and spotless, and the balcony offered direct sea views – perfect for watching the sunrise in the morning and enjoying the sunset in the evening, creating a wonderful ambiance. The staff were warm and attentive, and being able to communicate in Chinese made the check-in process very efficient. The hotel is conveniently located near Kata Beach, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Getting around by taxi was easy. The pool area was elegant and peaceful. Overall, our vacation comfort was maximized, the facilities were well-maintained, and the value for money was outstanding. I highly recommend this resort for a Phuket vacation and will definitely choose to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our short stay at Boomerang Village Resort. Staff were really warm and hospitable, facilities were clean and well kept. The resort's elevated location offers a peaceful atmosphere with beautiful views, making it a perfect retreat from the busier areas nearby. The room was spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated with charming local touches. Breakfast options were refreshing and tasty. Overall, it was a relaxing and pleasant experience.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in February 2024. The impressions are twofold, firstly positive, the location is close to Katya and Karon, the walk is about 10 minutes maximum. There is a night market nearby where you can eat inexpensively, along the road there is a 7/11, where we bought all the necessary drinks))). Now about the negative aspects, the rooms are old, smell damp, water drips from the air conditioner straight onto the floor, I had to put a towel on it. The view from the room’s window was on a concrete wall half a meter from the window. There are only 3 sockets per room, so choose either a TV, a kettle or a telephone))). . Because We have 4 phones with children, we have never turned on the TV, and it is very ancient, almost a tube one. There is a swimming pool, but it is quite small, but for those who like to dive, the depth on one side is 2.7 m and it is very heavily chlorinated; the children’s fingers were all corroded by the chlorine. As a result, we don’t want to return to this hotel, but the territory is beautiful and the location is convenient, but the number of rooms spoils the whole impression....even going up the hill wasn’t that stressful.
