Hotels in Near the Vatican City, Rome

The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed one night and booked last minute. They held our luggage in the morning while we explored the area and went for breakfast. The bed was comfortable, spacious and clean and the room is spacious with high ceilings. There is a bar and restaurant a minutes walk away that is reasonably priced. We got a bottle of Prosecco for €20. There is also 2 very popular bakery’s a 5 minute walk away. Great for breakfast, we spent around €5 per person. It cost €14 to get a taxi to centre and 15 mins during Saturday morning traffic (10am}. If you’ve traveled around Asia the rooms will seem very poor. I get the aesthetic is partly to keep with “Old Rome” but there were basics that didn’t look maintained such as pipe from toilet fixture leaking and the shower basin not draining. There is also only 2 plug sockets in the room, 1 by the bed the other by the radiator. The walls are very thin so bring ear plugs as you’ll hear peoples alarms go off and bin collection in the morning. If you’re traveling on a budget I think it’s a nice stay you’ll just have to factor in travel costs to and from the centre or rent a scooter.

Be cautious if you're driving. When I visited, the hotel parking lot was under renovation, so I had to park in a ridiculously expensive private lot nearby. The hotel restaurant was terrible; the pasta was so salty my tongue went numb, and it was overpriced. The best part was the complimentary bread. The next day, I woke up with an upset stomach and diarrhea. I'd recommend eating out. However, the room itself gets high marks, and the bed was very comfortable.

The location was okay, but I didn't change the towel once a day. However, there was a private toilet in the room and the wifi was very fast.

The breakfast is very rich and it is the only homestay in my Italian trip that provides free water! Who knows this gold content, free iced water, and a large bottle! The aunt who received us was also very enthusiastic and communicated with us very warmly, but forgiven that I didn't understand Italian, so I barely communicated with the translation software directly. The aunt introduced us to the facilities in the public area, coffee machine, door locks, etc., afraid that I can't remember and let me record it with my mobile phone. The breakfast is also very rich, and there are many drinks in the refrigerator, all free. And very close to the subway station, very close to the commercial street.

The hotel is in line with the description in the picture, a little dim but overall it is good. It is very close to the Vatican, the front desk service is very good, and the price is good

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic, close to the Vatican, the metro, restaurants, cafes and a small supermarket. The bed was comfortable and the room was modern and clean. Took a while to work out the air conditioner as the room was hot for guests used to a colder climate! The small breakfast offered for delivery to the room for €5 was delicious and enough to fuel a morning of exploring. The best part of the hotel though has to be the friendliness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone we came in contact with was so helpful and nice. Definitely recommend and excellent value.

Loved our stay here. Staff were super welcoming and helpful. We were able to check in early which we were extremely happy about with it being so hot outside. The location is fantastic being walking distance to Vatican City, metro, supermarket and restaurants all close by. Room was nice and quiet, although bathroom very small. Would stay here again 😊

Et hôtel se trouve à 10 minutes du Vatican. Un bon emplacement pour visiter ce lieux mais reste loin par rapport aux autres attractions touristiques. Hôtel propre avec toutes les commodité nécessaires
