Hotels in Near the Vatican City, Rome

Be cautious if you're driving. When I visited, the hotel parking lot was under renovation, so I had to park in a ridiculously expensive private lot nearby. The hotel restaurant was terrible; the pasta was so salty my tongue went numb, and it was overpriced. The best part was the complimentary bread. The next day, I woke up with an upset stomach and diarrhea. I'd recommend eating out. However, the room itself gets high marks, and the bed was very comfortable.

The breakfast is very rich and it is the only homestay in my Italian trip that provides free water! Who knows this gold content, free iced water, and a large bottle! The aunt who received us was also very enthusiastic and communicated with us very warmly, but forgiven that I didn't understand Italian, so I barely communicated with the translation software directly. The aunt introduced us to the facilities in the public area, coffee machine, door locks, etc., afraid that I can't remember and let me record it with my mobile phone. The breakfast is also very rich, and there are many drinks in the refrigerator, all free. And very close to the subway station, very close to the commercial street.

Расположение рядом с Ватиканом, до центра ходили пешком минут за 25. Нам все очень понравилось, обязательно вернемся!

My stay at Hotel Vespasiano was truly amazing. The staff were incredibly accommodating, helpful, and genuinely friendly — they made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The breakfast, although not a buffet, felt just like one with how generous, fresh, and satisfying the servings were. The location is absolutely perfect as well — close to everything you need, making every day of my stay convenient and enjoyable. Overall, it’s the kind of hotel that makes your trip feel a little more special. Highly recommended.

The balcony view room is very good. We upgraded to the highest floor, where you can see the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo. The hotel is in a good location, not far from the attractions. The breakfast is good with a wide variety. The hotel service is also very good. The overall feeling is very good.

It was a wonderful experience. The hotel was very good. It was the first time for a family of three to come to Rome and wanted to live closer. We chose a suite. The sofa in this room can be changed from the third picture to the second picture. In this way, it becomes two rooms with two beds. The three of us can live together privately and take care of each other. My daughter was also very happy to have a room by herself. This is a wealthy area in Italy. It is relatively quiet. Although it is far away from the train station, the transportation is a bit inconvenient and not so cost-effective, but I still like quiet places. We took taxis for transportation. After all, Rome is too hot in summer. We really can't walk, so we took taxis everywhere. It is much more convenient than the subway, but the cost is not small. Many taxi drivers don't give change @_@. There is also a taxi terminal after walking a block. The last picture. In addition, there are two Chinese restaurants nearby, which are within walking distance. Walking can relieve homesickness: P You can also walk along the Tiber River to Castel Sant'Angelo. You can also walk to the Vatican. It's a little far, so friends who like to walk can consider it.

We are so satisfied with this b&b. Super clean and nice. Very good location, walking distance from most major attractions and metro. The Vantage Elevator is so small yet so cool. Thanks god we dont have to carry our luggage up ourselves. Gabriel, manager, is super friendly and helpful. He recommended all the thing you need to know in Rome. He recommended a nearby restaurant , San Marco, which is one of the best restaurants in Rome even though the price is so reasonable. Try some of their specialties pizza and Parma Ham.

Firstly, the experience was amazing. Before I even arrived at the hotel, they asked me on what time I will be arriving. Secondly, the room was spacious for 1/2 person with a lot of amenities (shower cap, still and sparkling water, soap and shampoo). Thirdly, I demanded a lot of things from the reception and they did a great job in fulfilling all my wishes (e.g., luggage storage, postponed city-tax payment, room extension). So overall experience were great. However, there were 2 things that should be noted: (1) the hotel lobby and the lift were really small and (2) the lobby bathroom was really small too. Therefore, that was the only downside for me.
