Madison Hotels in Shenyang

The hotel is easy to find, with underground parking. Families can directly enter the hotel lobby from the parking lot, and check-in is quick! The hotel staff are very polite and friendly! The hot spring pool in the room has handrails, making it convenient for the elderly to use. The water flow is strong, and the pool is great! The room is warm, even a little hot! The room facilities are quite complete! It would be even more convenient if a small basin for scooping water were provided!

The hotel is right by Shenyang North Railway Station, just across the underpass. However, the main entrance facing the station was closed, so I had to drag my luggage all the way around to find the temporary entrance at the back. It seemed like the lobby wasn't finished with renovations yet. The elevator was a converted freight lift, small and basic, and I had to wait forever. While the room was spacious, there was hardly anywhere to put things. The small round table was already taken up by the kettle, leaving no space for my child to do homework. I booked a twin room, but there was only one chair for two adults and a child, so we had to take turns. Even though it's under Huazhu Hotels Group, the room layout isn't as well-designed as Orange Hotel or Hanting Premium.

The hotel's location is super convenient; you can see it right from North Station and even access it directly via an underground passage. Subway Lines 2 and 4 are right downstairs, making transportation a breeze. Taxis can also drop you off directly at the hotel entrance. Breakfast is available, though the variety is pretty standard. They also offered a complimentary business lunch or dinner, which had limited options, but it was enough to fill you up. The room looked exactly like the pictures, but the cleanliness details weren't great and definitely need improvement.
