Hotels in Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, Shenzhen

This airport transit hotel was collectively booked by our company's business team, and I'm happy to report that all my colleagues gave it excellent reviews. The hotel uniformly arranged free shuttle buses for airport transfers, which made getting to and from the airport effortless and saved everyone from having to make individual arrangements. The front desk staff were efficient and smooth to deal with; invoicing and check-in were both quick and hassle-free. Every room met consistent hygiene standards, and the air conditioning was powerful enough to keep multiple occupants cool and comfortable. The communal laundry room had several washers and dryers available, so our work clothes could be quickly washed and dried without delaying our schedule. There were also numerous tea restaurants and fast-food outlets nearby, making team meals very convenient.

This hotel is excellent in every way. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. I was traveling with a French colleague for a business trip, and he also thought it was fantastic! We spent a long time choosing this hotel on Ctrip due to a trade show in Shenzhen, and it turned out to be a great find. The service was very attentive, and we even got a complimentary upgrade to a suite!

The location is super convenient, just a 15-minute ride to the airport. It's also very easy to go shopping or visit tourist attractions from here. There's even a snack street right downstairs! The environment is great and very quiet, so I slept really well. The front desk staff were all polite and attentive, and the room was kept very clean. I'm extremely satisfied with this stay and highly recommend it! ✌️

Traveling for business and needing to catch a flight, choosing this hotel was perfect. It's only a 10-15 minute taxi ride from the airport, saving a lot of time and effort commuting. The room facilities were complete; the AC, Wi-Fi, and bathroom all worked perfectly, and it had basic amenities for work. The cleanliness was excellent; the room was tidy and bright, and the environment was quiet and not noisy, allowing for good rest and recovery. The staff provided proper service, and check-in was quick. Overall, I had a great experience and highly recommend it for business trips or layovers.

I stayed at this hotel in January 2023 and booked a family room, and I was very satisfied with everything. After many years, I came back to Shenzhen and booked this hotel again. Since it was renovated many years ago, it feels a bit old, and the elevator is a bit noisy. The room I stayed in this time had a slight musty smell, but since I was only staying one night, I didn't ask to switch rooms. The hotel offers free parking, which is very convenient.

This hotel is about a 15-minute drive from the airport and feels more like a business hotel than a Hilton resort. The rooms are relatively compact, and some details aren't quite up to par, for example, there's no place to put your clothes in the shower. Compared to family rooms at Hanting or Atour, it doesn't quite measure up. Of course, Shenzhen is a very expensive city, so perhaps it caters more to business travelers. The breakfast is on the top floor with great views, and you can see the airport not too far away. Overall, it was an average, passable stay. I was very grateful for the two complimentary breakfasts from the front desk, though!

Overall, the experience was mixed, although skews slightly positive. What I liked: I have to really commend the hotel staff for exceptional service: this is the one thing that really stood out for me. I was here for an anniversary celebration, and they decorated our room and also gave us an amazing tasting cheesecake (I am very picky with cheesecake by the way). The food at IHG hotels is just exceptional from my own personal experience. Their dinner buffet was also really great cost performance. Great value and wide selection, and includes alcoholic drinks too (free flow). They also had hot pot, and we chose a Yunnan mushroom soup for ours (they had several choices from what I can remember). Now the areas I thought were unfortunately what pulled down overall ranking for me. First, the furnishings/finishings of the rooms were not really top tier. I don’t recall what star hotel this was, but I have generally had slightly better experience in terms of the furnishings for IHG hotels, even the lower end ones like Holiday Inn etc. Maybe this one was just a bit older/dated? The lobby was nice though. Second, location. I mean this is on me since I knew this was all the way in Bao An district, but I just feel like it was much further and worse traffic than I had anticipated (I checked maps for places I was going to - generally I wanted to go to places around Nanshan area which I thought weren’t that far but it turns out I was wrong). It is also not near any subway / metro station. I think the walk was 20-30 min to the closest metro station. And the road to getting into the hotel lobby car pick up and drop off area was extremely narrow, and if you didn’t point it out to the driver, they could miss it and not know how to get in. The narrow-ness of the path also makes it hard for drivers to drive in and out (if your car is too big it takes a while and maybe takes turns, almost like a one way street type of narrow). Other neutral stuff: most other appliances etc., as well as spaciousness of the room, were broadly in-line with my expectations and also competitors (other hotels in Shenzhen around the same / similar price point). Overall, I still enjoyed my experience, but unsure I’d stay here again unless 1) a new metro station opens up nearby, or 2) if I’m just going to stay in Bao An district for my future trips. Still though, huge shoutout to the staff for exceptional service. I know service is pretty good throughout most of Shenzhen, but I do think this hotel’s staff goes above and beyond. And the cheesecake was the best I’ve had since December last year.

This time I came to Shenzhen for a business trip/watching the exhibition, I chose Juyi Hotel and really exceeded expectations! 🚇 Transportation location: The location is great, close to Fuyong subway station, it is very convenient to go to the airport and the International Convention and Exhibition Center, so you don't have to worry about traveling. 🛏️ Room facilities: The overall facilities are very new and the rooms are very clean and tidy. I especially praise the bedding, it is very comfortable to sleep, the zero-pressure mattress experience is full, and I feel it until dawn! 💁 Service experience: The check-in at the front desk is very efficient and the service attitude is warm and thoughtful. 🍽️ Surrounding facilities: There are many shopping malls and places to eat downstairs, and shopping and eating are very convenient. 👔 Special highlight: You must praise the laundry room! Especially convenient, the clothes are dried quickly, and the pain point of not having time to dry clothes on business trips is perfectly solved. Next time I come to Shenzhen, I will not hesitate to choose here! Highly recommend to everyone!

This was my first stay at Hotel Jen, and I was told my room got upgraded, which was great as it was very spacious. The front desk staff were warm, professional, and you have to walk through the restaurant to get to the room elevators from reception. On my second day, I had an early flight around 5 AM, and the front desk thoughtfully prepared a takeaway breakfast for the number of guests, including yogurt, bananas, sausage buns, and eggs, which was quite substantial. However, having stayed at Hyatt hotels two or three times before, I did notice some differences. For one, a Hyatt hotel is closer to the airport, whereas here you need to allow 15 minutes to walk to security. The most noticeable difference, though, was the soundproofing; I could constantly hear planes taking off or landing, which might affect sleep for light sleepers.

The front desk staff was incredibly thoughtful and even upgraded my room for free. The hotel's location is quite good, with plenty of delicious food options near the subway station. The airport pick-up was also very prompt; no need to share a ride, I could go straight to the hotel as soon as I arrived. Once at the hotel, the room was very spacious and even included a massage chair. As it's a sleep-themed hotel, there were many thoughtful little touches, like music and sleep-friendly lighting. Overall, my stay was a great experience, and I'll likely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shenzhen.
