My mom and I stayed here, and we loved it at first sight! There's a huge courtyard, so relaxing to sunbathe there in the afternoon! Our room even had its own terrace, which we absolutely loved! The bed was also in a traditional Chinese style, and for a fan of that style like me, this inn was the dream inn of my life. There was even a guqin (a traditional Chinese stringed instrument) at the front desk – I loved that! I also love the name of the inn!!! In short, I love everything about it! Oh, and the owner also loves traditional Chinese style music; she plays all those songs, which I adore!!!

I booked this room specifically because of the landlady's intricately carved bed. It's rare to find rooms with such beds in ancient towns these days. The location is excellent, right by the river, with a small balcony offering beautiful nighttime views. The landlady is very welcoming, and there are also adorable cats.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Tan Bai said that I slept well and lived well. The hostess would help me with any needs. It felt like we were family. Thank you to my elegant daughter for ordering food for me. I was really touched❤️❤️ The location of this homestay is very good🎉🎉, it is close to the ancient town, it is super close, only 2 minutes away, there are many things to eat when you walk to the main road, I especially recommend the breakfast shop at the entrance of the alley where a couple and their daughter sell breakfast, it is delicious😋delicious😋.. The room was bright, clean, and tidy, with a beautiful and pleasant environment. It was located in the ancient town, making it very convenient to stroll around. The owner was friendly and welcoming, personally greeting guests and showing them the way. It was a very satisfying stay, and I will definitely come back next time.

Location: Shitangbukmun Entrance, even if you leave at 7:59, you can enter for free before 8:00. It is a very cost-effective hotel. No need to stay inside.

I have lived for almost ten days without knowing it, and I have already regarded this place as a temporary small home. The layout of the room is reasonable, the storage space is sufficient, and the items can be organized in a good way for long-term living. The details are very good, the lighting is soft and not dazzling, the sink is clean and there is no water, and there is no sanitary corner in the corner. Every day I come back, I can feel the refreshing and clean environment, plus the intimate service at the front desk, which makes people feel particularly warm and recommended to friends who need to stay for a long time!

For this price and location, cannot complain. Was quite content. Great location, rooms clean enough. It’s a family run property in an old town and old building, so please do not expect 5-star service.

The renovation is relatively new, and the owner provided parking information in advance; it's a 3-minute walk, very convenient! There's a bar with live music downstairs, which was a bit noisy when we were putting the kids to bed – a mistake on our part! The shower didn't have a glass partition or curtain to keep the water out, which felt strange. The bathtub is so big, but it's not really necessary. The toilet seat was a nice touch! Xitang is becoming increasingly commercialized; it's lost its ancient town charm. The guesthouse was still very clean. I hope the owner's business thrives!
