"The location of this Linhe B&B is very good. Drinking tea on the balcony to see the beautiful women taking pictures on the opposite side is a bit interesting. The proprietress also came to the parking lot to pick us up. This trip to Xitang is very satisfied!"

GGugugugagagajiejiejieMy mom and I stayed here, and we loved it at first sight! There's a huge courtyard, so relaxing to sunbathe there in the afternoon! Our room even had its own terrace, which we absolutely loved! The bed was also in a traditional Chinese style, and for a fan of that style like me, this inn was the dream inn of my life. There was even a guqin (a traditional Chinese stringed instrument) at the front desk – I loved that! I also love the name of the inn!!! In short, I love everything about it! Oh, and the owner also loves traditional Chinese style music; she plays all those songs, which I adore!!!

GGuest UserHighly recommended. The price is affordable. The room facilities are good and hygienic. There is also a small courtyard. It is fresh and comfortable. It is also close to the ancient town. It is less than 100 meters walk. It is really a good place to stay in a quiet place. I will stay for a few more days next time. It is worth mentioning that the proprietress helped me buy discounted tickets that can be used for several days in a row. I no longer have to worry about getting in and out of the ancient town at a certain time. I can wander around at any time, which is really nice.

MMichael ZargarovThis is a marvelous homestay-guesthouse. Located in a quiet area of the old-town, but very close to many bars and restaurants. Next door to a temple.
The owner is a friendly man who loves cats... and has three lazy, fat cats who sleep most of the time. He even gave us chilled bottles of Perrier French mineral water upon our arrival! The courtyard has two Loquat trees which provided many delicious fruits.
Our room was upstairs in this renovated old Qing-Dynasty house. We had a small private balcony. The bed was very comfortable, with great bolster pillows for watching movies on the huge screen. There was a refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was huge and even included a Japanese toilet with bidet functions. Soft towels. Good toiletries.
The included breakfasts, served in the courtyard, were wonderful. Fried bread, two-kinds of dumplings, soy milk, boiled eggs. Delicious coffee. Watermelon slices.
Xitang is a beautiful, if a bit over-commercialized ”ancient” town. We enjoyed our visit, and this lovely guest-house. The guesthouse is a bit hard to locate. It is in the Eastern part of the old town, near the bar street. For those who enjoy Hanfu, there are MANY shops nearby where you can rent the costumes.

AAnonymous UserAlong the riverside of the core scenic area of Xitang are all homestays, including this one. We stayed on the first floor, and we had to climb the attic to the second floor. The balcony of the room faces the river, and opposite is the Misty Corridor and the Songzi Laifeng Bridge. You can sit on the balcony and watch the cruise ships coming and going in the river. It is so close, and the scenery is really great! This homestay is very close to Xiyuan, Wangzhai and Shipinong, which is very convenient for playing! The boss came to the parking lot to pick us up, and the service was also good!
The room facilities are really simple, there is not even a decent table and chair, and the bedding is all disposable covers. The hygiene can be guaranteed, but it feels a bit rough when sleeping. The bath water is very good and large, and the non-slip slippers are also safe. The room is next to the water, and there are many mosquitoes, but there are no mosquitoes at night, which is very satisfactory.

The layout of the room is reasonable, the storage space is sufficient, and the items can be organized in a good way for long-term living. The details are very good, the lighting is soft and not dazzling, the sink is clean and there is no water, and there is no sanitary corner in the corner. Every day I come back, I can feel the refreshing and clean environment, plus the intimate service at the front desk, which makes people feel particularly warm and recommended to friends who need to stay for a long time!

AAnonymous UserThe sanitary conditions are average, but the only thing that dissatisfies me is the hair dryer, which needs to be pressed all the time. And what about your disposable bath towels and face towels? I may not be used to this, and I believe most people don’t like it.

GGuest UserThe renovation is relatively new, and the owner provided parking information in advance; it's a 3-minute walk, very convenient!
There's a bar with live music downstairs, which was a bit noisy when we were putting the kids to bed – a mistake on our part!
The shower didn't have a glass partition or curtain to keep the water out, which felt strange. The bathtub is so big, but it's not really necessary. The toilet seat was a nice touch!
Xitang is becoming increasingly commercialized; it's lost its ancient town charm.
The guesthouse was still very clean. I hope the owner's business thrives!
