We are *********. We booked this B&B based on the reviews. I was not disappointed. The lady boss is really nice, gentle and talkative. The lady boss's daughter is pretty, generous and talkative... Stayed here for 3 nights. Tan Bai said that I slept well and lived well. The hostess would help me with any needs. It felt like we were family. Thank you to my elegant daughter for ordering food for me. I was really touched❤️❤️ The location of this homestay is very good🎉🎉, it is close to the ancient town, it is super close, only 2 minutes away, there are many things to eat when you walk to the main road, I especially recommend the breakfast shop at the entrance of the alley where a couple and their daughter sell breakfast, it is delicious😋delicious😋.. My mom and I stayed here, and we loved it at first sight! There's a huge courtyard, so relaxing to sunbathe there in the afternoon! Our room even had its own terrace, which we absolutely loved! The bed was also in a traditional Chinese style, and for a fan of that style like me, this inn was the dream inn of my life. There was even a guqin (a traditional Chinese stringed instrument) at the front desk – I loved that! I also love the name of the inn!!! In short, I love everything about it! Oh, and the owner also loves traditional Chinese style music; she plays all those songs, which I adore!!!

Along the riverside of the core scenic area of Xitang are all homestays, including this one. We stayed on the first floor, and we had to climb the attic to the second floor. The balcony of the room faces the river, and opposite is the Misty Corridor and the Songzi Laifeng Bridge. You can sit on the balcony and watch the cruise ships coming and going in the river. It is so close, and the scenery is really great! This homestay is very close to Xiyuan, Wangzhai and Shipinong, which is very convenient for playing! The boss came to the parking lot to pick us up, and the service was also good! The room facilities are really simple, there is not even a decent table and chair, and the bedding is all disposable covers. The hygiene can be guaranteed, but it feels a bit rough when sleeping. The bath water is very good and large, and the non-slip slippers are also safe. The room is next to the water, and there are many mosquitoes, but there are no mosquitoes at night, which is very satisfactory.

Location: Shitangbukmun Entrance, even if you leave at 7:59, you can enter for free before 8:00. It is a very cost-effective hotel. No need to stay inside.

The renovation is relatively new, and the owner provided parking information in advance; it's a 3-minute walk, very convenient! There's a bar with live music downstairs, which was a bit noisy when we were putting the kids to bed – a mistake on our part! The shower didn't have a glass partition or curtain to keep the water out, which felt strange. The bathtub is so big, but it's not really necessary. The toilet seat was a nice touch! Xitang is becoming increasingly commercialized; it's lost its ancient town charm. The guesthouse was still very clean. I hope the owner's business thrives!
