DdyhxWhat a beautiful hotel, from outside to inside. It's located just outside Xitang Scenic Area, but they have a backdoor through the garden where the staff can escort and bring guests thru so you don't have to pay again for a ticket to enter the attraction.
Every bit of the room is spacious, from the bathroom to shower area to the bedroom. I love how the bed faces a full ceiling to floor window where you can wake up to a lovely view while still lying in bed.
The bed and pillows are firm and comfy. The water pressure in the shower is good but hard to control the temperature. The hair dryer is a little weak and took a while to dry my short hair. The room also came with a generous plate of fresh fruits.
Service was excellent and friendly. Breakfast buffet was simple, nothing fancy but the usual staples are there and food quality is ok. The live noodles station was the best for me, can't go wrong with hot noodles soup & wantons, especially on a cold morning.
Was given a beautiful tea cup as a farewell gift at check-out.
Overall it was a great stay and I highly recommend anyone planning to stay a night at Xitang to stay here!

GGuest UserPerfect location - just a few minutes walk away from the scenic area but far enough to have a great night sleep away from the noise. It was not the easiest to find, as trip.com location wasn't accurate, however we got picked up from one of the entrance gates and guided to the property.
The facilities are simple but smoke free, clean and very comfortable. The courtyard within was lovely and peaceful. We felt welcome.

XXiaoYxiaoYxiaoYFacilities: The room facilities are very good, the bedding is very textured, and the disposable items are complete. Smart toilet, dry and wet separation is very convenient to use.
Environment: As soon as you come in, you will feel hidden in the city. The courtyard is very large, and the large terrace on the second floor will take you into the feeling of walking into the garden.
Service: The lady at the front desk is very polite, wearing traditional Chinese costumes, and pointing out the route to the scenic spot. Very satisfied
Hygiene: The room is very clean. I am particular about the bathroom and bed. I am very satisfied with this trip. Good comments ((*^∀^))👍🏻

SSunyy moThe ambiance was lovely, and the design truly impressive, but the overall experience was severely disappointing. Their 'butler service' essentially consisted of communicating and booking appointments via WeChat. Wayfinding around the hotel was terrible; we had to constantly ask for directions. The book lounge and tea room were unstaffed, mostly empty, and seemed to be used only by guests for taking photos rather than for actual service or relaxation.
While the bathtub had hot water, the shower was always cold, no matter how much we adjusted it. The air conditioning was blowing warm air, making our child so hot at night that they kept kicking their covers off. Breakfast was an even bigger letdown. Despite being divided into three time slots, it was incredibly overcrowded. We had booked the 9:30 to 10:30 slot, which was designated as less busy (the 8:30 to 9:30 slot was marked 'red' for high traffic), yet we still couldn't find a table. We ended up squeezed three people into two seats in a dimly lit, cramped corner, which instantly killed our appetite. We gave up and left without eating. As we were leaving, there were still guests queuing at the entrance, only to be told there were no available seats… Is this really supposed to be a resort hotel?

GGuest UserI chose this hotel after looking online for a long time. The sanitary conditions are really good. I booked a room on the second floor, facing the river. I loved the floor-to-ceiling windows next to the bed. The scenery outside the window was also very beautiful.
Free pick-up or drop-off at Xitang Scenic Area Station: the store manager specially drove to pick us up, and also gave us a fruit plate when we arrived at the hotel. The reception service was very warm!
ps: His home is only 80 meters away from the entrance of the scenic spot. It is very convenient to enter and exit the scenic spot. Because you can enter and exit the scenic spot at will by swiping your face within 24 hours, you can sleep in late the next day and rush to the entrance of the scenic spot for the last time.

JJoyMoonStayed here for 3d2n on March 9 2025! The hotel staff was really friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is in Xitang which is a tourist area so come in after 5pm and the entrance fee is free!
The hotel staff was really friendly as we left a note letting them know that my partner is a professional photographer so we booked a room with a balcony to take pictures. Before we checked-in, the owner offered to bring us to another hotel he owns in the area to see if liked the views there better but we still chose to stay in Manjuelong.
The rooms are quite spacious and the hotel was quite quiet at the time. The hotel is situated inside a tourist area which was quite convenient for us to walk around and explore!
If we go back to Jiaxing again, we will consider staying here again!

GGuest UserFinally, I stayed here on my own. I'd always booked for clients before, but this time, I brought a friend along to experience a river-view room in the heart of Xitang. It was worth the trip.
We also saw the flower boats. There weren't many, only six, but they were perfect for the setting.
Interlude: I asked the landlady to borrow two beautiful fire goblets, and then my friend dropped them on the floor. The first thing the landlady asked was if we had any scratches, and she didn't ask for compensation.

MMichael ZargarovThis is a marvelous homestay-guesthouse. Located in a quiet area of the old-town, but very close to many bars and restaurants. Next door to a temple.
The owner is a friendly man who loves cats... and has three lazy, fat cats who sleep most of the time. He even gave us chilled bottles of Perrier French mineral water upon our arrival! The courtyard has two Loquat trees which provided many delicious fruits.
Our room was upstairs in this renovated old Qing-Dynasty house. We had a small private balcony. The bed was very comfortable, with great bolster pillows for watching movies on the huge screen. There was a refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was huge and even included a Japanese toilet with bidet functions. Soft towels. Good toiletries.
The included breakfasts, served in the courtyard, were wonderful. Fried bread, two-kinds of dumplings, soy milk, boiled eggs. Delicious coffee. Watermelon slices.
Xitang is a beautiful, if a bit over-commercialized ”ancient” town. We enjoyed our visit, and this lovely guest-house. The guesthouse is a bit hard to locate. It is in the Eastern part of the old town, near the bar street. For those who enjoy Hanfu, there are MANY shops nearby where you can rent the costumes.

AAnonymous UserThe first time I visited Xitang Ancient Town, I chose this hotel. It is located at the second door of Tangjia Lane, and the location is easy to find. The owner's surname is Tang, a local, very talkative and enthusiastic. The room is decorated in an antique style and the space is not small.

The boss has a very good attitude and is very caring. If you have any questions, you will reply in time and do it yourself. The room space is super large, the entire second floor and the living room are private areas, and there is also a mahjong table and a projector!
The two rooms are very large and very distinctive, basic toiletries are provided, and disposable towels and bath towels are provided.
When I came, it rained heavily. The boss was very good. We were allowed to keep it here. If the rain was small, we would go ～.
Very satisfied with an experience, I will choose this store next time!
