Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 14km from Jiashan Railway Station and 45km from Jiaxing Nanhu Airport. With Drunken Garden, Songzilaifeng Bridge and West Park all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. Our guests rate this hotel as one of the best hotels for cleanliness. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.
"This B&B is located inside the scenic area, and our room faced the street. We heard tricycles and electric scooters driving by all night, and the sound of their wheels on the cobblestone street was incredibly disruptive, making it impossible to sleep. Perhaps the rooms facing the water would be quieter. This completely shattered my perception of the peaceful and gentle ambiance I'd experienced in other Jiangnan water towns like Wuzhen and Nanxun.
The hotel's location is otherwise decent, about a 3-4 minute walk from Sujia Alley. We arrived by bus from Wuzhen, and walking from the visitor center was quite inconvenient. While the room was generally clean and tidy, there were mosquitoes, and quite large ones at that. They did provide disposable towels, which was a nice touch. The proprietress at the front desk kindly helped us carry our luggage upstairs, and the hotel helped us purchase tickets for 70 yuan."

"I visited Xitang Ancient Town and decided to stay overnight. This hotel exceeded my expectations! It was clean, tidy, and had excellent facilities. Plus, parking was free. The hotel is super close to the North Entrance of the ancient town. I checked in around 4 PM, had a relaxing tea on my room's balcony, and then headed straight out to explore the town – it was so convenient. The hotel's ambiance is also very elegant and perfectly matches the ancient town's charm, especially the beautiful night views. The staff at the front desk, both the young men and women, were fantastic. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety too. The whole experience was easy and comfortable. Highly recommend! 👍🏻"

I received a call immediately after booking to confirm my arrival time and arrange ticket purchases (discounts available, free for seniors over 70). A friendly staff member picked me up and helped with my luggage; they responded promptly to any questions.
Regarding the environment, I really loved the courtyard and cabins.
Sitting in the courtyard watching the swaying trees and listening to the wind and birdsong was the epitome of idyllic living. However, the reality is that there are mosquitoes, and it gets quite chilly in late autumn and early winter.
The duplex layout was a highlight when I chose the room, but I wouldn't recommend it for older people. Getting up at night requires climbing stairs to the first floor, which isn't very safe.
The bathroom doesn't have a door, so water splashes onto the sink area. There's no absorbent mat either; I suggest improvements.
Also, the air conditioner is extremely noisy, but when it's off, it's very cold and damp, and the blankets feel damp. The staff member mentioned that the noise seems particularly loud when it's quiet here.
I explained the situation to the young lady, and she changed my room to ”West Window Dream” for the second night. Although the atmosphere and design were slightly inferior, the standing air conditioner was powerful, and she even added a blanket and an electric blanket, which satisfied my comfort needs! GGuest UserA very good homestay. After booking, they took the initiative to add WeChat and sent the location and detailed walking route. The courtyard is very beautifully decorated, the room is clean, disposable bath towels and towels are prepared, and the mineral water is also Wahaha😄. The clerk is enthusiastic and prepared wine and snacks. Seeing my two children, they gave me more snacks. It is very close to the entrance of Xitang Ancient Town. Just cross the road. Everything is good! I arrived late this time and didn’t have time to make tea around the stove. I will definitely do it next time!

GGuest UserIt is indeed the courtyard of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and the courtyard is also very large. The Baishou Hall and the Feng family's old residence are also in Shipi Lane, so they are very quiet. The boss is nice and very enthusiastic. It's not far from the bar street, it's quaint and simple. Our team had a great time.

GGuest UserThe location is very strategic, in front of the bus station and scenic watwr town xitang..Just walk 5 minites. The bus station is inside of the area of the scenic water town xitang.
You can go to shanghai.by bus only 1, 5 hours.you also can go to Hangzhou or another city by bus.It is so convenient. You can buy bus tickects at the station.
The hotel is clean, the receptionist is very helpful .Breakfast is chinese style, and delicious.Everything of this hotel is so good

AAnonymous UserThe hotel has complete facilities, the rooms are clean and tidy, parking is very convenient, the location is easy to find, there is no entrance fee after 5 pm, there are singers singing at the door at night, and you can visit the scenic spot when you wake up the next day.

MMichael ZargarovThis is a marvelous homestay-guesthouse. Located in a quiet area of the old-town, but very close to many bars and restaurants. Next door to a temple.
The owner is a friendly man who loves cats... and has three lazy, fat cats who sleep most of the time. He even gave us chilled bottles of Perrier French mineral water upon our arrival! The courtyard has two Loquat trees which provided many delicious fruits.
Our room was upstairs in this renovated old Qing-Dynasty house. We had a small private balcony. The bed was very comfortable, with great bolster pillows for watching movies on the huge screen. There was a refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was huge and even included a Japanese toilet with bidet functions. Soft towels. Good toiletries.
The included breakfasts, served in the courtyard, were wonderful. Fried bread, two-kinds of dumplings, soy milk, boiled eggs. Delicious coffee. Watermelon slices.
Xitang is a beautiful, if a bit over-commercialized ”ancient” town. We enjoyed our visit, and this lovely guest-house. The guesthouse is a bit hard to locate. It is in the Eastern part of the old town, near the bar street. For those who enjoy Hanfu, there are MANY shops nearby where you can rent the costumes.

GGuest UserThis hotel is really great when you come to Xitang! The hotel is right inside the Xitang scenic area, which is very convenient. Compared with other hotels in the scenic area, the price is much more affordable and the cost performance is super high!
The hotel is in Chinese garden style, with antique decoration, small bridges and flowing water, courtyard corridors, and it looks very Jiangnan. The room is very clean, spacious, comfortable bedding, and new bathroom facilities. It is very quiet to sleep at night and will not be disturbed at all.
And the staff service is very good, whether it is checking in or asking questions, they are very patient and enthusiastic, and they can help solve the problem immediately if there is a need. It is really a good choice to come to Xitang to play. Recommended!

GGuest UserEnvironment: Clean and hygienic! The bed is so soft! There is a slight leakage from the central air-conditioning outlet at the entrance, but it won’t have much impact.
Service: The landlady is very enthusiastic and will show us in advance whether we are satisfied with the room.
3 hours of Hanfu experience: the Hanfu store connected is also good! recommend! ! Come again next time if you have a chance!
