We received a notification from the front desk the day before check-in, confirming our check-in time and providing us with our location. Thank you very much for making our trip perfectly arranged. Although the hotel is located within a scenic area, it is very quiet and comfortable. The entrance and exit to the scenic area are just a stone's throw away, saving time and allowing more time to explore. The room was clean, tidy, bright, and comfortable, with separate wet and dry areas. Our room also had a small library, which the children loved. It was a wonderful trip!"

***November 2025 Stay Experience***
I received a call immediately after booking to confirm my arrival time and arrange ticket purchases (discounts available, free for seniors over 70). A friendly staff member picked me up and helped with my luggage; they responded promptly to any questions.
Regarding the environment, I really loved the courtyard and cabins.
Sitting in the courtyard watching the swaying trees and listening to the wind and birdsong was the epitome of idyllic living. However, the reality is that there are mosquitoes, and it gets quite chilly in late autumn and early winter.
The duplex layout was a highlight when I chose the room, but I wouldn't recommend it for older people. Getting up at night requires climbing stairs to the first floor, which isn't very safe.
The bathroom doesn't have a door, so water splashes onto the sink area. There's no absorbent mat either; I suggest improvements.
Also, the air conditioner is extremely noisy, but when it's off, it's very cold and damp, and the blankets feel damp. The staff member mentioned that the noise seems particularly loud when it's quiet here.
I explained the situation to the young lady, and she changed my room to ”West Window Dream” for the second night. Although the atmosphere and design were slightly inferior, the standing air conditioner was powerful, and she even added a blanket and an electric blanket, which satisfied my comfort needs! The location of the hotel is very advantageous. It is located in the center of the ancient town and the transportation is very convenient. It only takes a few minutes to walk to Xitang's main attractions, such as Yanyu Corridor, Songzi Laifeng Bridge, Bar Street, etc., which is very suitable for leisure vacation or business trip.
The facilities are outstanding. The hotel's architectural style is elegant and exquisite, and the garden is planted with various flowers and green plants, making the environment very pleasant. The room is fully equipped, clean and tidy, giving people a warm and comfortable feeling. The bed was moderately soft and hard, allowing me to have a good night's sleep.
The hotel has an internal bar, which is not open to the public. A variety of board and board games are also provided for guests' entertainment. You have more choices in your spare time, so you can fully enjoy the fun of your trip.
The hotel staff are warm and friendly and always provide us with attentive service. Whether it was checking in or checking out, they were always there to answer our questions and help us with a smile. This attentive and thoughtful service made me feel very warm and comfortable.
I highly recommend this hotel to friends who are planning to travel to Xitang. I believe you will also praise the facilities here just like me.

The location is very convenient, close to both Wanlian and Yintai Shopping Centre. There are plenty of shops and restaurants right next to the hotel, which made our stay very easy and enjoyable. The lobby is modern and well-presented, creating a good first impression.
We stayed for a longer period, so having laundry facilities was very helpful. The room was cleaned daily, and the staff were consistently kind and helpful throughout our stay.
The only downside was the strong smell of smoke in the room. We raised this issue, and the staff did try to move us to another room. However, it seemed that all rooms had a similar smoking smell, despite being advertised as non-smoking rooms. This made our stay quite uncomfortable.

Drove here for a one-night stay during the pre-holiday weekend, and it was really good. The ambiance is elegant, with a touch of artistic flair. It's incredibly pleasant to come here occasionally to relax and unwind from the fast-paced work and life in Shanghai. The hygiene was excellent, and the food was delicious. Being away from the city's hustle and bustle instantly calmed my anxious mind. My wife and kids both thought everything was superb and that the trip was well worth it, telling me they'd like to come back often. I'm already thinking about bringing the kids here for a leisurely vacation during the upcoming summer break. 😁

I booked the Five Lakes Riverside Balcony Room with Main Channel View and Bathroom at Regalia Riverside for Dec 30 and 31, 2025. The room looks exactly as it does in the photos. The balcony has plug ins, teapot, teacups and tea prepared for you. Across the balcony, you can see the famous bridge and the boat station. You can also see up and down the channel. Room size is good for 2 persons. In the room is a heater/AC which worked perfectly and Ms. Sun also kindly turned on the heater since she knew my arrival time. The room has a kettle but no cups, coffee. Luckily I had brought my own. Also, know that the hotel does not provide breakfast - not a problem for me but for those we eat breakfast, just step outside. Location is perfect, it's in the heart of ancient town so easy to walk everywhere. Outside your door is snack street and at the end of the street is a ”food court”. Despite it's central location and opposite of the boat station, the noise was manageable. When I closed the balcony doors, I didn't hear anything (maybe too cold for people to loiter around?).
Everyone was very nice and kind. Ms. Sun went out of her way to help me with my return bus ticket to Hangzhou, giving me directions on how to arrive at the hotel/meeting point where she waited for me, and her colleague even walked and waited for my car when I departed for Hangzhou. Going from Hangzhou to Xitang was an adventure as I read many different versions and my hotel told me another in my research. All in all, i highly recommend Regalia and Xitang! Thank you to Ms Sun and everyone for making my 2026 new year experience so memorable!

Guest UserWe stayed at this guesthouse for one night while accompanying my parents on a road trip. The landlady personally picked us up, and the guesthouse was close to the second parking lot. Our room, Zhenheju, had a large window overlooking the cruise ship pier, and my parents were very happy sitting by the window enjoying the view across the river. There were restaurants just steps away, which was very convenient. The room was newly renovated and equipped with a full set of smart home technology.

Stayed here for 3d2n on March 9 2025! The hotel staff was really friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is in Xitang which is a tourist area so come in after 5pm and the entrance fee is free!
The hotel staff was really friendly as we left a note letting them know that my partner is a professional photographer so we booked a room with a balcony to take pictures. Before we checked-in, the owner offered to bring us to another hotel he owns in the area to see if liked the views there better but we still chose to stay in Manjuelong.
The rooms are quite spacious and the hotel was quite quiet at the time. The hotel is situated inside a tourist area which was quite convenient for us to walk around and explore!
If we go back to Jiaxing again, we will consider staying here again!

The room is in the scenic area, you can come in when it is free, and then you can play at will in the ancient town.
The boss has a very good attitude and is very caring. If you have any questions, you will reply in time and do it yourself. The room space is super large, the entire second floor and the living room are private areas, and there is also a mahjong table and a projector!
The two rooms are very large and very distinctive, basic toiletries are provided, and disposable towels and bath towels are provided.
When I came, it rained heavily. The boss was very good. We were allowed to keep it here. If the rain was small, we would go ～.
Very satisfied with an experience, I will choose this store next time!
