GGuest UserThe location of the B&B is very convenient. You can take the 302 tourist line from Shenjiawan Passenger Terminal for 10 yuan per person and get off at Gaochangwan Bus Station. The B&B is under the bus stop. It is also very convenient to transfer to other buses. I came on June 12. The location of this B&B is about 7 minutes' walk from Gaochangwan Bathing Beach (Tianyuewan Resort). The original ticket was 50 yuan. Because I live in this village, the owner of the B&B gave me a ticket. It only costs 30 yuan to enter the beach, and I can also get a wristband. I can enter and exit the beach at will within one day. The limit is one day. I think that except for living in Gaochangwan, other B&Bs must not have this treatment. This beach should belong to this village. This beach is very large and long, with fine sand. You can take a bath when it is hot. It is a sister beach with Jihu Beach behind the B&B mountain, separated by a mountain. The B&B is very new. The owner said that it will be repaired every year to keep it brand new. The decoration style is all related to the sea, very warm and comfortable, the accommodation conditions are impeccable, and the owner's house design has a large terrace on the 4th floor, where you can cool off, drink tea and watch the scenery. In one of the rooms, you can see the sea and the beach by opening the curtains, which is very comfortable. I looked at the B&Bs around, and there are very few with such a large terrace. During the period, I also went to the Donghai Fishing Village mentioned by my friend. There are more people there, but it looks very messy, and the design of the B&B is not very good. The Donghai Fishing Village is lively, and there are many food stalls. If you want to be quiet, Gaochang Bay is really quiet. Also, it is recommended to let the B&B owner cook seafood if you want to eat it, which is affordable. The 700 yuan we ate outside was not as much as the 500 yuan the boss cooked, and it was a bit of a rip-off outside. The boss was very kind and talked to each other. The yard of the B&B and the roof are full of succulents, which are very beautiful. The only regret is that the weather was not good when I came, it was gloomy, foggy and rainy, the sea water was not blue, and there was haze, which was the biggest disappointment. Everything else was very satisfactory.

GGuest User✨Walk into the ideal home, you will get 1️⃣The best commanding view of the whole island, facing the sea, spring flowers blooming, open vision and sea breeze, all are yours! 2️⃣Reasonable room layout, draw the gauze curtain to enjoy the open experience of indoor and outdoor integration, multiple angles and distances to confirm that privacy is within an acceptable range! 3️⃣The appliances in the room are the same as those used in my home. As soon as I entered the house, I felt like I was back home, very comfortable!
❤️Praise the housekeeper sister and brother of other people's houses for being so nice! When I first arrived on the island, the temperature suddenly dropped. The sister lent me a super windproof coat to wear. The next day, my sweater fell into the sea again. It was not dry when I left after several days of drying. As it turned out, this coat saved me for three days! Grateful heart! ❤️Praise the breakfast every morning. The porridge and side dishes are really comfortable and delicious! The restaurant also has a large window with an unbeatable view. The day's comfort starts with breakfast. It's really great. ❤️I like to listen to music and play board games in the restaurant after a day of walking around. ENDING👉🏻Flower and Bird Island is a lovely island. It is super great to meet other people's housekeepers here. It's like visiting an old friend's house. It's free and comfortable, warm and happy! I also met very interesting ”neighbors”. We all live in the same B&B. We meet in various places in a day. In the end, we can greet and say goodbye like old friends. It's really interesting (I was moved to tears)!

Although the location is not in the most popular Dawangtan, there is a small road to Dawangtan in just 5 minutes, which is quite convenient for eating and shopping. The public areas and toilets are clean and tidy. #Service The boss was warm and considerate, coming down from upstairs to help with the luggage. We chatted and shared food. #The room view is high and far, with a wide field of vision and excellent scenery. The terrace faces the sea ranch. Watching the sunset with the friends I just met and eating dinner together while chatting is a rare and beautiful moment in life. Shengshan B&B is located on the mountain, away from light pollution, and you can see the bright stars at night. You can get up early in the morning to climb the mountain to watch the sunrise. Believe me, it's definitely worth the trip. #The room facilities include a washing machine, where you can wash and dry clothes. I rode my bike here from the Goji Dock. I sweated a lot, so it was really important to be able to wash clothes. The air conditioning has good heating. It was windy and cold outside on the island in April, but it was warm inside and I slept very comfortably. #Cost-effectiveness: A single person traveling alone can stay in a mixed bed in a youth hostel, which is very cost-effective and has a great location. There are also single rooms available at affordable prices. The day passed so quickly. I was reluctant to leave the island when I boarded the ship. I don’t know when I will come back next time. It may be the only time I come here in my life. I will keep this beautiful memory in my heart. Thank you for meeting me, see you later.

MMaria13579One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh.
First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle.
The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got.
They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai.
Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure!
Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

I like their atmosphere very much. I want to give my cat to the boss sister so that the cat can live a good life. Although it is a youth hostel, it is no worse than a hotel. (The hotels on the island are of varying quality. Instead of spending five or six hundred to find a so-so one, it is better to have the boss sister's youth hostel.) The house is warm and romantic, and there is a breath of life everywhere. It's so romantic to face the sea and watch them paint.

It’s very convenient to go to Dongya Shibi and the uninhabited village! After staying for two nights, the boss even helped contact the boat owner to go fishing! You really chose the right B&B. I have already recommended my friends to go here. Many friends want to come to Shengshan when they see my circle of friends. I have already recommended this B&B to them!

The boss's picture is too low. The room by the sea is very amazing. Although it is an old house from the outside, the room decoration is very new!
It is really perfect to book such a place in the tourist season.
The location is also good. Take a taxi from the pier for 40 yuan. It is very close to the town. You can walk to the seafood street, Dawang Beach and other places.

GGuest UserAbsolutely beyond expectations of the perfect homestay! The proprietress is simply the light of Shengshan Island!
The luckiest thing about this trip to Shengshan is to choose this homestay! From the beginning of the reservation, I felt the intimateness of the proprietress~ I took the initiative to send a super detailed play guide. Later, we did not grab the ferry ticket of Sijiao → Shengshan. The proprietress helped to get the ticket without saying a word, and really saved our itinerary!
The room was clean and warm, the bedding was soft as if sleeping in the cloud, and the proprietress generously borrowed the kitchen for us to use!
The proprietress is like an old friend, always help us avoid the pit, Amway locals love to eat small restaurants, even taxis help us make reservations. This kind of humane homestay is too rare, I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Shengshan!
