AAnonymous UserI have stayed in the best homestay, the boss is really very, very good, very sentimental.
1. I have been chatting with the boss before I came. I asked this and that. The boss was very enthusiastic to answer. I felt embarrassed to be polite, so I brought Yunnan and Hunan specialties to the boss. People are mutual.
2. The boss’s cooking sentence is good. My friend and I bought the dishes for the boss to make. I dare to say that it is 10 times better than the outside. Hahaha, I sincerely suggest that you try the boss’s craftsmanship. After eating, I have been talking to us about life and ideals. During the chat, we also sent us beer. The money for the processing materials also reduced me by 20 yuan.
3. Because we came here in the off-season, the boss upgraded us to the best room. We can see the sunrise from the room early in the morning, which is great.
4. The breakfast boss gave us free, and hot juice, really special care.
5. (This one was added by my friend) The boss is very easygoing, kind, and always provides constructive advice. I give 5 points because the highest - there are 5 points!

Exquisite afternoon tea: The portion is large and the taste is very good. It is so enjoyable to watch the sea view on the terrace!
Souvenirs: The dog ornaments are very cute and children like them very much.
The proprietress was very enthusiastic and we had two meals at the B&B. The dishes are all exquisite and taste good. The housekeeper is always there when needed and the service is in place. The children’s breakfast was also given. Our room was huge and the terrace was super beautiful. Breakfast is great, you can choose Chinese, Western or seafood noodles. We have tried everything and they are all good👍

GGuest UserThe room is really beautiful, with no blind spots and sea view rooms. The whole house is smart. The water curtain flower room restaurant is also very beautiful. You can dine at sunset and make great movies. The dishes are also delicious and the ingredients are fresh. The most noteworthy thing is the service. They are responsive to every request. The child had a fever on the second day and they helped us prepare a fever-reducing patch. They also helped us cook white porridge for dinner. It's so thoughtful. I will choose this restaurant next time I go.

OoshantoI had an incredible experience during my stay! The amazing ocean view was truly breathtaking and made every moment unforgettable. The staff were incredibly nice, cooperative, and always ready to help, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The location was absolutely perfect (be ready to climb some stairs 😄) and adding to the overall charm. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to return!

MMaria13579One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh.
First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle.
The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got.
They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai.
Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure!
Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

GGuest UserThe environment is quiet and natural. The ingredients are fresh, all eaten at the homestay, and you need to order in advance. It turns out that my decision is completely correct, the proprietress is delicious and the price is close to the people. It is far more delicious and affordable than the food stalls outside.
After dinner, go for a walk on the beach. I went back to the homestay for breakfast the next day, and then I could eat it. It was very rich and full.
The last meal I bought seafood for the proprietress to process, like this seafood.

GGuest User#The hotel is clean, comfortable and hygienic. Bed sheets and quilt covers are changed after each guest. The public areas and toilets are clean and tidy. #Service The boss was warm and considerate, coming down from upstairs to help with the luggage. We chatted and shared food. #The room view is high and far, with a wide field of vision and excellent scenery. The terrace faces the sea ranch. Watching the sunset with the friends I just met and eating dinner together while chatting is a rare and beautiful moment in life. Shengshan B&B is located on the mountain, away from light pollution, and you can see the bright stars at night. You can get up early in the morning to climb the mountain to watch the sunrise. Believe me, it's definitely worth the trip. #The room facilities include a washing machine, where you can wash and dry clothes. I rode my bike here from the Goji Dock. I sweated a lot, so it was really important to be able to wash clothes. The air conditioning has good heating. It was windy and cold outside on the island in April, but it was warm inside and I slept very comfortably. #Cost-effectiveness: A single person traveling alone can stay in a mixed bed in a youth hostel, which is very cost-effective and has a great location. There are also single rooms available at affordable prices. The day passed so quickly. I was reluctant to leave the island when I boarded the ship. I don’t know when I will come back next time. It may be the only time I come here in my life. I will keep this beautiful memory in my heart. Thank you for meeting me, see you later.

GGuest UserThe boss is super nice. You can even ask the boss to cook dinner at the B&B. It’s so relaxing to look at the sea view and blow the sea breeze. It’s very convenient to go to Dongya Shibi and the uninhabited village! After staying for two nights, the boss even helped contact the boat owner to go fishing! You really chose the right B&B. I have already recommended my friends to go here. Many friends want to come to Shengshan when they see my circle of friends. I have already recommended this B&B to them!

MMaxJWonderful location right next to the ocean and very close to the abandoned fishing village of Houtouwan. The owner offered to pick us up at the pier and the dropped us off after check out. Food is great and breakfast is included. Worth it 👍👍
