The boss's family is very welcoming, and the dishes cooked by the boss's mother are super delicious! No need to waste time looking for restaurants outside haha😁 The environment of the homestay is also very clean and cleaned in time. You can see the sea from the balcony, and it is very close and convenient to go to the beach! If I go to Shengsi again next time, I will definitely choose to stay in this hotel❤

Shengshan is definitely not an easy place to get to, but staying at Woqu honestly made it so worth it! It’s very guesthouse style, so hosts have a full menu that they can cook for you if you don’t want to go into town for the restaurants. They were all so warm and welcoming, even though my Chinese isn’t very good. Even though they had a larger group of 21 staying at the same time as me, they still checked in on me to make sure that I was comfortable and that I could still have my privacy. They also offered me the number of a driver who was very readily available to take me wherever I wanted. The room was beautiful, with a wonderful view of the ocean. It would be really romantic for a couples’ getaway. I hope that more people come to Shengshan and Gouqi, even for just a day, just so they can experience some of the island-style warmth and hospitality that Woqu had to offer. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel on Gouqi Island. The room offered a beautiful sea view, which made our stay especially relaxing and memorable. The location is also very convenient—just a short walk to a lively food street with plenty of dining options to choose from. What truly made this experience exceptional, though, was the owner’s kindness and hospitality. When we unfortunately fell ill during our stay, he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. His support during that time meant a lot to us. He also kindly helped arrange transportation, which made everything much easier. To top it off, we were welcomed with a thoughtful gift at check-in, which was a lovely touch. I really can’t rate this hotel highly enough—both for the facilities and, most importantly, for the genuine care and generosity shown to us.

Traveling beyond expectations, the time is very fast, staying on Shengshan Island for less than a day, and I was worried about the traffic on the island at the beginning. When the boss said that we could provide chartered service, it really made us less trouble. We drove us everywhere. We played a lot of scenic spots in a small half-day time. We also took us to chase the sunset. We sent us to see the sunrise in the morning. The service was too good. In terms of accommodation, the homestay is right by the sea. Sitting on the edge of the bay window, you can see the sea view. The restaurant is also by the sea and the scenery is not bad. There is also a swimming pool at the homestay. If the weather is hot, you can bring children to play in the water.

The guesthouse is tucked away in a quiet corner of the countryside, so peaceful at night you can hear insects chirping and frogs croaking. The decor is comfortable, and the rooms are quite nice, easily accommodating two adults and two children, with a balcony. I noticed a slight odor in the room, but my family thought it was fine. Opening the balcony door, the air was filled with the pungent smell of fertilizer freshly applied to crops – nauseating! Restaurants nearby are expensive and unappetizing; I recommend renting a car to eat in the county town. The room clearly includes breakfast, but when we inquired in the morning, they said it wasn't prepared and required advance booking – please remember this. Although there was a small sign indicating it, we weren't informed during check-in and ended up spending 90 yuan on takeout. The 20 yuan beach voucher included with the booking was ignored; we didn't ask about it. In conclusion, the service was poor, the experience was mediocre, and I wouldn't go back.

I think the layout of the homestay is unique. There is no noise on the beach of Dawang Village. The view and scenery of the balcony are also good. Figure 1. Downstairs is the Siyan Beach with reefs. In the evening, you can touch snails and catch crabs. There are sea fish in the puddle. It is recommended to bring copy nets and pliers. The proprietress’s family is very warm and thoughtful, and the craftsmanship of the homestay is also good. One night’s dinner was told to the proprietress. They went to the vegetable market to buy vegetables and cook them. The evening breeze in September on the terrace was delicious. You can also ask the proprietress to make an appointment for sea fishing, full of a bucket of harvest, and come back to add meals.

Perched halfway up the mountain, the location is truly superb. Living high up, you're treated to breathtaking, expansive views that are incredibly refreshing and invigorating. It's a genuine ocean-view room. The owners and their family are wonderfully friendly and welcoming, and the homemade dishes prepared by the hostess were also absolutely delicious. For the cost (especially considering I bought a budget room) this is a good call, especially if your aim is to spend time exploring. It looked a bit down at heel from the outside (Goji berry island is mostly an unpretentious fishing community, not a glamorous destination, but that's part of the charm), but I was pleasantly surprised to find my room quite clean, decently spacious, everything functioning well, and a comfortable bed. Even the partial bay view was nice! Though I don't speak Chinese, the front desk staff were helpful in advising me on things like purchasing return ferry tickets, taxi prices, and restaurant recommendations. (You can try Xianmiao for seafood!) The location is also good, just at the bottom of the hill over to the Houtouwan fishing village, and quite near the island's main restaurant and market street. Breakfast was typical fare, but freshly made.

Five-star highly recommended! Butler service is particularly intimate and thoughtful. The standard room booked is spacious, rare to configure two large beds, and also has its own independent balcony. The decoration is simple and atmospheric, the style is very similar to the whole season, and the living is comfortable and at ease. The housekeeper was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to help call the car, explain the Shengsi play route and avoid the pit strategy in detail, saving us a lot of homework. On the way to check in, the property in the community had a little unpleasantness. Fortunately, the hotel was very atmospheric. He took the initiative to upgrade the sea view room for us and perfectly solved the problem. The overall experience exceeded expectations, the hardware is online, the service has temperature, this is the first choice for travel to Shengsi, and will come again next time on the island!
