The hotel proprietor of this place was so friendly, helpful and kind; she really made me feel welcome and comfortable. It was raining when I arrived and she met the taxi with an umbrella and carried my luggage up to the room. She also heard me open the door in the morning and ran to carry my luggage downstairs again and waited with me to make sure I found my taxi and gave me a gift of cakes. She also offered to meet me to make sure I got back to the hotel in the evening. She was the best hotel manager I have met during my 8 weeks in China,so far. The hotel is in a great location just a few minutes walk from the West gate along a,tree lined avenue. Easy to find for taxis to park outside. Very clean. I was given extra duvets as the bed was a bit firm for me because I have a hip problem. Highly recommend this place to stay.

Before our trip to Wuzhen, we did our research and specifically chose a guesthouse in Nanzha. Compared to the commercial atmosphere of the Xizha Scenic Area, we much preferred the authentic local vibe of Nanzha. Yishuiju is beautifully situated right by the river; from our window, we had a view of the historic Jiangnan Canal, which was incredibly evocative and transportive. What made our stay truly exceptional was the warm and thoughtful care from Ms. Zhong, the owner of Yishuiju. Upon our arrival, she promptly came to the roadside to pick us up. When we went out exploring in the evening, she worried we might get lost and sent us photos of landmarks and the guesthouse entrance from her phone. She also frequently checked if we needed anything, truly making us feel completely at home.

The hotel's location is extremely convenient. It is just at the entrance of West Town, just a few steps away. The room was beautiful, well designed and well equipped. The only downside is there is no elevator. Even though I am a foreigner, the hotel owner was very welcoming and fully supportive. She also helped me book a bus to the bus station early in the morning. A great experience. I will definitely come back

Excellent value for money, super cost-effective, clean rooms, friendly receptionists, and quick and easy self-check-out. Food delivery is also very convenient; the delivery guy brings it right to your door. Located right next to Wuzhen, highly recommended.

The owner was incredibly hospitable, and the service was exceptionally attentive. They even provided shuttle service to scenic spots. The room was very comfortable, with fantastic natural light and breathtaking outdoor views.

The location is fantastic, just a 10-15 minute stroll from Dongzha, Xizha, and Nanzha. The surrounding area is bustling with plenty of restaurants, breakfast spots, coffee shops, pharmacies, small supermarkets, and even massage spas – really convenient! The hotel reception also offers free stamps of Wuzhen attractions, which is a nice touch. To be honest, I'd never stayed in a guesthouse before, having only experienced 2-5 star hotels for business and leisure. Given that I have no guesthouse comparisons, and considering the price of just over a hundred yuan a night, here’s my review: First, soundproofing: The sound insulation between rooms and between the hallway and rooms is comparable to a standard hotel. Occasionally, I'd hear cars passing outside, but it wasn't overly noisy or disturbing. Cleanliness: The bedding was very clean, and as someone with sensitive skin, I had no issues during my three-night stay. The bathroom was also good, even providing disposable toilet seat covers, which is more comprehensive than most hotels! Service attitude: Overall, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Daily cleaning was prompt. Knowing I was from the north, they reminded me to turn on the air conditioning upon entering the room, but early spring in Jiangnan was surprisingly cold, so I ended up asking for a second duvet on the second day. Facilities: While it's only a bit over a hundred yuan a night, and considering the accommodation quality, I shouldn't really nitpick, but I do want to mention one minor drawback: there was no place to hang clothes in the bathroom. 😥

I originally only planned to stay in Wuzhen for one day, but this tatami room with its floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of green trees, blue skies, white clouds, flowers, and birds flying by was so soothing that I stayed for two days straight. I really want to bring this window and the beautiful view home with me.

I booked a room temporarily for a baby-raising competition, and the owner upgraded the room for free. Thank you very much🥳The inn can park for free🅿️The hotel is very close to the competition venue, 2 minutes from the Xizha entrance. There is a food court just outside the door, which is great👍🏻

Really great! I think the environment is nice, and it's very clean and hygienic. The owner's service is also excellent. It's super close to Wuzhen, and the surroundings are lovely too.

I was upgraded to the deluxe double room from the room of my booking as Siao D (the guy in charge) told me because of low season/availability he was happy to upgrade me. I was very pleased and didn't have to pay any extra for the upgrade. Location is walking distance to the famous tourists West Scenic Wuzhen place. Eatery outlet readily available outside the hotel so were the rickshaws. Hotel very quiet. Siao D took care of every enquiries with no hesitation and helped me in all my needs. He sent me personally to the Tongxing train station the day I left, that was really awesome! (With no charge). Felt safe in the place too.
