This is a lovely homestay in a newly built mountain town. Mr Jiang and his wife, teacher Wu, welcomed me into their home and made sure that I had a wonderful experience. Their home is beautiful, clean and tidy. It has a large open plan living area with a large dining table, sofas, a table for serving tea and a pool table, all of which you can make use of. They have a lovely garden and views across a small lake and over mountains covered in trees. The fresh mountain air is rejuvenating. They also have a cute little puppy. The villa is just over the mountain from Xiamen in the first town you get to, and just beyond the town there is a traditional rural village and a reservoir that are worth checking out. The town in which the villa is located is very quiet so don't expect to be able to go to any restaurants, but the hosts will help you order takeaway. The hosts speak English, and took me out with them to look at the stars and the night views, and in the morning made me a simple but satisfying breakfast. I hope to go back to see them again!

Two months later, while browsing Ctrip, I suddenly realized I hadn't written my January review, so I'm adding it here. The room was clean and tidy. Dongshan Island is very cold in January, and the room even provided thick blankets. The people at Hai Le Xin are incredibly kind. My roommates from Xinjiang and Chengdu, along with Da Huang and Xiao Hui, went to see the sunrise. A young man even took me to Aojiao on his electric scooter. The owner is also incredibly kind. I want to shout out to the owner! The first night, I couldn't ride an electric scooter, so he lent me his bicycle. When the bicycle broke down halfway, he came to rescue me on his motorcycle and recommended good restaurants along the way. The next day, my electric scooter ran out of power at Aojiao, and he brought me batteries. Later, he took me to other attractions, and when I was leaving, he even took me to the nearby bus stop. I originally expected to spend the New Year's holiday alone and lonely, but my experience here made me feel incredibly pampered. The sea breeze on Dongshan Island in January is icy, but the people at Hai Le Xin are warm and welcoming. When will my next holiday come? I'll definitely come back to Hai Le Xin! 🥰🥰🥰

The accommodation provides spacious and clean rooms and is perfectly located in the Tulou scenic area at the southern part of Taxia village and very close to both the 田螺坑 土楼 and 河坑 土楼 as well as the 裕昌 building. All of them can be reached by car in just a few minutes. I arrived at the Inn without a car myself and the owner not only helped me organize the visits but even offered to drive me to several nearby tulou. We had the chance to share several meals prepared by his wife, which were all excellent, and some very good tea from the region. The host is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor - we talked a lot after I arrived despite my very limited Chinese. All in all, I can recommend this place very much - I would come back anytime if I decide to visit the area again. (P.S. make sure to ask the host about the fireflies nearby - seeing them under the starry night is a mesmerizing experience and was one of the highlights of my trip to Fujian)

Excellent service from the lady boss and the staff. From the time I contacted her, she sent me lots of information about getting to the guesthouse. More importantly, she followed up with me to ensure that I am on the right track to the guesthouse. This was very much appreciated as I had a flight delay and that messed up my original travel plan. The lady boss was very proactive in ensuring that I find my way to the guesthouse. The lady boss' daugther is very cute and adorable. She shared part of her orange with me and when I told her that I liked it, she went off and got one for me! Even wanted to help me with my luggage but a little difficult as she's only 8 years old. The guesthouse is located on top of a small hill and lady boss will pick up guests at the bottom of the hill; actually, in my opinion, hardly needed as it's only 10 minutes or less walk up a gentle slope but she does the pickup as part of the service that they offer. The room is very nice and clean. The toilet is western style and has a very nice touch - spot lights are installed on the toilet ceilings and when the nights are cold, you will really appreciate the warmth from these lights after coming out from your shower! And finally, they will drive guests out to 2 of the best viewpoints for the Tianluokeng cluster at no additional charge.

I was very satisfied as soon as I entered. From the front desk to the room, the cleanliness, environment, and decor were all excellent. The facilities were complete, and the attention to detail was impeccable. They even had electric scooters available for rent. I would definitely choose this place again next time.

It is located a few dozen meters away from the Huaiyuan Building parking lot. There are two parking spaces at the door of the B&B that can be used, so there is no need to drag suitcases of various sizes along the stone road. B&B owners also operate their own restaurants, which solves the problem of dining out. Take a few steps in from the entrance path to Huaiyuan Tower. Then along the stream, you can pass by Yunshuiyao Ancient Town with its big waterwheel and big banyan tree. After walking for more than 1 kilometer, you will reach Hegui Tower. Chatting with the landlord was like family, very cordial. We originally agreed to pay 10 yuan for breakfast per person, but ended up giving away breakfast for the two of us without charge. Each person has a bowl of hot porridge, a meat bun, steamed buns, eggs, and a plate of side dishes. Although it is an ordinary home-cooked meal, it is full of heart. For those who eat greasy meals out, this light breakfast is more considerate. There is a tea field at the door of the B&B, and corn, ginger, and green onions are planted... It is simply used to save the cognition of children who grow up in reinforced concrete houses. Falling asleep to the sounds of insects and frogs at night is like going back to childhood. Each room is equipped with screen windows so no mosquitoes can enter. If you have the chance, you should come back and wander around in a daze.

During this journey, I seemed to have removed my identity as a tourist, and it was more like meeting with my friends and listening to their wonderful life stories. I thought that the trip was an ordinary trip, but it unexpectedly became one of the most precious memories of my life. The homestay is very retro, hidden in the tiles in the corner, the reefs on the cabinet, and the flowers in the corner all reflect the unique understanding and careful management of the aesthetics of life. Special thanks to the owner of the homestay: Dong brother. The warm hospitality and meticulous care made us feel the warmth of family. Not only provided us with a comfortable accommodation environment, but also healed the fatigue of the journey with sincerity and goodwill. This friendship, I will always remember it in my heart. Although reluctant, the journey of life still needs to continue. I look forward to returning to this warm place again in the near future.

We booked three rooms for five people for one night. The guesthouse's location is fantastic, right next to the 'Four Dishes and One Soup' Tulou. You can easily access the viewing platform nearby to see the night scenery, which is very convenient! The owner and his son were incredibly hospitable. The owner's son even drove his motorcycle to the parking lot to pick us up. He's also an excellent cook! In the morning, as we were leaving, the owner helped us carry our luggage to the car. Thank you!

The staff were very welcoming and enthusiastic. The *tulou* (earthen building) we stayed in is reportedly over a hundred years old. We specifically chose it for its historical charm, so we already expected the rooms to be a bit old-fashioned and the soundproofing to be poor. On the bright side, the bedding was dry and comfortable. It's also quite close to Huaiyuan Lou.

During the three days and two nights I had free time, I originally only booked one night, but I immediately renewed my reservation after arriving at the B&B. When I opened the curtains, I could see the sea. When I walked out of the room, I saw the beach. On the last day, I also saw the sunrise as I wished. This feeling It's so beautiful and so comfortable. The owner of the B&B was very enthusiastic and took us to catch the sea, which was a lot of fun~~ At night, the owner even gave the children fireworks to play with, which was a great experience! ! Will definitely come again ~
