Zhangzhou Hotels with Bars

This hotel exceeded our expectations from its surroundings to its interior. The hotel's internal environment is hygienic, and the internal design is close to the level of a 4-star or above hotel. There are unique waterfalls and stone bridges outside the hotel. The room we stayed in faced the river and mountains, which was very quiet and beautiful. After a 5-10 minute walk, you can see the Shunyu Building, the largest circular earth building in Nanjing, and the Yong'an Building, an old square earth building (there is no one in the earth building! Walking in is like walking into the neighbor's courtyard, you can enjoy it to yourself The beautiful scenery inside the earth building.) Walking out of Yong'an Building and walking back to the hotel on the beautiful stone path is a very special experience. The dishes prepared by the hotel proprietress exceeded our expectations. The fish was very delicious. Except for the slightly tough beef, the other dishes were cooked to a very good level. Breakfast was also good, with more choices than expected. If we come to visit Tulou again, we will consider staying in this hotel again.

I highly recommend this place for families with children under ten. The fish pond and dress-up activities in the *tulou* (earthen building) kept the kids thoroughly entertained; they even said it was more fun than the scenic spots themselves. Adults will also have a great time. Visiting other *tulous* in the scenic areas often means just seeing the exterior, as the interiors are usually packed with stalls. This homestay's *tulou*, however, is quiet and uncrowded, making it perfect for sitting back and enjoying a tea ceremony. We stayed in a small standalone villa, which was completely quiet at night. The only downside was that the bathtub was a bit dirty, so we didn't use it.

The first guesthouse you see upon entering Taxia Village is very convenient and easy to find, with parking available. The guesthouse owner is a Hakka from Taxia Village and is very welcoming. The owner's cooking is delicious, all authentic local dishes, and the prices are reasonable. This guesthouse retains its original charm, situated next to the small bridges and flowing water of Taxia Village, near a Tulou (earthen building), an Overseas Chinese Memorial Hall, and the Zhang Clan Ancestral Hall, called Deyuan Hall, not far away. It's recommended to enter Taxia Village from the Nanjing Tulou, eat and stay there, then visit the Dongdaoxiwailou (leaning building), and finally the Sicai Yitang (Four Dishes and One Soup) restaurant. From Sicai Yitang, you can directly access the highway.

**Facilities:** The room was incredibly spacious, and the oversized sofa was exceptionally comfortable – perfect for lounging and enjoying the projector. **Cleanliness:** Spotlessly clean, genuinely exceeding my expectations. **Ambiance:** Stepping into the guesthouse felt like entering a secluded paradise. I could easily spend a whole month here with my family, as everything you need for dining, entertainment, and relaxation is at your fingertips. It was so peaceful, I didn't even want to leave! I'll definitely be returning; it's highly recommended! **Service:** The staff provided incredibly thoughtful and attentive service. Complimentary tea was available in the tea room, and the special pre-meal herbal tea was absolutely delicious. They even helped us with our luggage!

During this journey, I seemed to have removed my identity as a tourist, and it was more like meeting with my friends and listening to their wonderful life stories. I thought that the trip was an ordinary trip, but it unexpectedly became one of the most precious memories of my life. The homestay is very retro, hidden in the tiles in the corner, the reefs on the cabinet, and the flowers in the corner all reflect the unique understanding and careful management of the aesthetics of life. Special thanks to the owner of the homestay: Dong brother. The warm hospitality and meticulous care made us feel the warmth of family. Not only provided us with a comfortable accommodation environment, but also healed the fatigue of the journey with sincerity and goodwill. This friendship, I will always remember it in my heart. Although reluctant, the journey of life still needs to continue. I look forward to returning to this warm place again in the near future.

The B&B is run by a young couple. The overall building resembles an earth building in appearance, and the interior has a standard hotel-like layout. The decoration is in a nostalgic campus style, but the hardware facilities are not outdated. You can see the subtle care that the owner put into the room design. There will be several modes of room lighting to suit various needs. The wet and dry partitions in the bathroom are relatively reasonable, and the sewers are smooth and do not accumulate water. The water heater has a large capacity, so you can take a comfortable bath without any problem. It has its own parking lot and is very convenient for self-driving. The location of the B&B is very close to the viewing platform of Four Dishes and One Soup, which has the advantage of seeing the lights and entering the village at night. The landlady usually drinks tea in the front hall. When you pass by and she is free, she will invite you to drink tea and chat with her. The boss will tell you about travel strategies when he has free time, and even take you for a walk in person.

The hotel is very close to the highway. The navigation indicated it was only 5 minutes away. I had read some negative reviews before booking, but after seeing the hotel lobby, I felt it was very upscale and didn't think it was that bad. The receptionist showed me the room, which was spacious and clean. I was quite satisfied with my stay. The breakfast was delicious, light, and quite good.

There weren't any good hotels in the Tulou area, so we opted for a guesthouse, and this one was surprisingly good. As soon as we arrived in the evening, they came out to help with our luggage, and there was even a super cute little dog wagging its tail and hugging us. They upgraded us for free if there were any rooms available. The room had wooden and bamboo cabinets and a ceiling, and a glass cabinet by the bed displaying several teapots, giving the whole room an elegant and warm feel. The heating was great, and it was very quiet. The surrounding environment was also quiet, but it wasn't far from the big banyan tree; it was just a short walk away. Breakfast included a large plate of scrambled eggs, stir-fried vegetables, sweet potatoes, steamed buns, porridge, white bamboo shoots, pickled bamboo shoots, and pickled mustard greens. They also had peanuts, but I'm allergic to them, so I didn't take any. I don't usually eat pickled vegetables, but their pickled mustard greens were very crisp and not too salty—very delicious. One thing I'd like to improve is that the bathroom was a bit cold, and the sink lighting was a bit dim.

The location is a 15-minute taxi ride from Yi'an Station. It is convenient as McDonald's, a pharmacy, and a convenience store are very close by. Both check-in and check-out were processed quickly, and the room condition is good. It is a hotel with good value for money.

Very friendly staff. As we are quite late to check in, they are there to make sure we are comfortable. The very next day, breakfast was really good which they specially prepared for us and used a VIP room for us to enjoy our breakfast.. Yah, not forgetting there is a rooftop balcony where you can see sunrise.
