I had a truly wonderful stay! The hotel environment was spotless, and my room was spacious and comfortable. Both the bedding and bathroom were meticulously maintained, which made me feel completely at ease. The most impressive aspect was the staff's service. From check-in to check-out, everyone was consistently warm, friendly, and smiling, making me feel right at home. They were attentive, thoughtful, and always happy to help, which made my entire stay even more enjoyable. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was cozy and inviting, and the public areas were also kept exceptionally clean. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, I highly recommend this hotel. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Service is good. The manager was attentive and warm. Food is variable. Dinner was excellent but lunch was not. Temperature control in the room was not good. Master bedroom heater was located in a wall cupboard and heat was not well distributed around the room. Hence it was cold. Like wise the bathrooms were cold. Shower water pressure was low. The three cats were delightful. The sitting room was large and comfortable. The mahjong table was a very good addition. The grounds were pretty with water features, carps, a swan and ducks. The mist created gave it an ethereal atmosphere. But lots and lots of steps. Not good for the elderly. Overall a good hotel. Excellent location to explore village.

This homestay is new, nice, clean and comfortable. The service is like a hotel. This homestay is located inside the Yunshuiyao scenic area, and so every guest needs to pay an entrance fee. The homestay can help to arrange a taxi to pick up from 南靖railway station to the homestay with a reasonable price. If you like beautiful scenery, peaceful and relaxing environment, this is the right place as it’s away from the crowded village centre. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the village centre, ie the water wheel, old banyan tree, and souvenir shops, through a scenic route along the stream and under the shade of old trees. Trekking the cobblestone path gives you a good workout. There’s a few tulou (earth buildings) within the scenic area but only 2 are open for public to visit. The others are private. Hegui lou is less than a minute’s walk from the homestay, passing by paddy fields, vegetable gardens and lotus field. You can literally see it from the homestay. The homestay serves delicious local food. I had dinner twice and enjoyed tasting different dishes. Breakfast is simple and includes local produce, giving you a taste of village life. Also, the homestay serves tea from its own farm. I enjoyed tasting different tea. Lastly, the staff 小凉is very friendly and good service.

This is one of the best homestay experiences that I ever had. The homestay is located in Taxia Village which is quieter and less commercialized in Tulou scenic areas that provide lots of privacy for the guests. The room and the building are located just next to the clear water stream. At night, I can even hear the stream of water flowing sounds. The villagers are very friendly to the tourists walking around. They are not pushy about selling any commercial products to tourists which is very contrast to the other commercializedTulou scenic areas. The owner/host is very hospitable, friendly, and helpful. This differentiates from the other hotel staying experience. I also got help on how to get around the Tulou scenic areas and where to get reasonable price restaurants from the host. 这是一个非常好的民宿。 这民宿地点是在塔下村。 塔下村是个地点比较安静， 不商业化的土楼景区。 对住客来说是很有私人空间。民宿就在河溪旁边，晚上睡觉时， 还可听见河溪的流水声。 早上在塔下村四处走走， 村民都对游客很友善， 没有对我有任何商业销售产品的压力。 民宿的老板很友善， 很肯帮助客人。这跟一般的其他酒店的住宿都很不一样。 老板也指点我如何去其他的土楼景点， 和去附近的价钱公道的餐馆用餐。

One night stay had been tremendous and the hospitality from the owner had exceeded my expectations. Place is run by a local family so you get the warmth of a homestay while also the cleanliness of hotels. Inn is situated within walking distance of 3 tulous in the scenic area. The walk is manageable and you get to see local sights and sounds along the river, and owner is kind to recommend them. We were immediately treated to cakes and teas/coffees when we reached in the afternoon. The restaurant is homely, preparing largely local and simple home made dishes. They were extremely suitable for my asian parents. Overall, would highly recommend as one of the more legitimate and friendly places around here. They absolutely deserve more travellers.

Our little one wanted to see 'A Yuan's Home,' so we brought the picture book and came to stay. This guesthouse is located within the Tianluokeng Tulou Scenic Area in Nanjing. It's easy to find if you're driving, and personally, I found it even better than the Yunshuiyao Scenic Area – fewer crowds and stunning scenery. It's also very close to Taxia Village, which you can reach by cycling or walking. There, you can visit the 700-year-old Yuchang Lou, famously standing 'crooked but firm,' and grab a meal at the Xiaogqiao Liushui Restaurant. Just a heads-up if you're driving, be mindful of parking restrictions. Getting to Tianluokeng's iconic 'Four Dishes and One Soup' cluster is also super convenient, just a ten-minute drive. The Tulou are truly magnificent! The guesthouse hostess is incredibly nice, and they have a lovely Golden Retriever named Xiao Chai, who is very friendly and well-behaved. We booked a duplex room with a living area downstairs and the sleeping area upstairs. It even came with a projector, which was a huge bonus! But the real highlight was the in-room washer-dryer combo – such a thoughtful and convenient amenity!

The environment has a Southeast Asian flair, and the room is clean, tidy, and comfortable. Although my stay was rushed this time and I didn't get to fully experience everything, I still felt the owner's warm and thoughtful service. The service is excellent. Even though there's no parking lot, the staff member was very enthusiastic and helped me move my car several times, so there's absolutely no need to worry about parking during check-in.

I usually do not choose homestay when other modes are available. However in Yunshuiyao homestay is the only choice. Given that 1949 has to preserve the local architecture do not expect 5 star hotel facilities. For all the constraints of a ”min su” the staff do go the distance to ensure they meet the demands of guests. I checked out a happy guest and will recommend 1949 to other travelers.

I decided on a last-minute trip and chose this hotel, which I'd been saving for a while. The hotel's location is quiet, yet close enough to the city center for walking or e-scooter use (which is why I chose it). The front desk staff was very friendly (all the staff I encountered were very knowledgeable and patient). We checked in a little after 10 a.m. and were given a room. Ms. Chen asked me to add her on WeChat and sent me a very detailed travel guide. I thought the breakfast was quite good. The only downside was the lack of soundproofing. Finally, I thanked the hotel for the gift.

An amazing place for all types of travellers. Away from the main city, in a beautiful county, it is one of most popular hotels around and this staus is aptly justified by its friendly staff, good amenities and good location
