This place’s saving grace is their 9th floor lounge - having somewhere to spend time during the day and evenings when it was raining was a saving grace although if you can get a hostel for half the price there’s also plenty of nice cafes to spend days in working/reading in. There was no air, anywhere. Baring in mind it’s the middle of typhoon season and torrential downpour outside all day. There was no ventilation, the only “windows” in the dorm were letterbox size and literally inside the bottom bunks (which you have to pay extra to request haha) so you can’t just crack a window and there’s no space for people leaving their wet clothes so the room absolutely stank of damp and dirt. It was a nice enough place but just fell a little short for the price for me

Best at this price. Hostel condition and management procedures are up to expectation. Shared dormitory is not easy for big luggage users if allocated upper deck. Location is perfect for shopping, dining or moving around to say trip or next destination, almost all reachable like a few hundred metres. Enjoyed the corner gyoza sho, juicy gyoza with draft beer very much, small and cosy yet not pricy

Very good customer service! I e mailed the hotel if I can leave my luggage for a week before checking in since I will be going to Nagasaki. The staff at the front desk are friendly especially Mik. Upon checking in my luggage is inside the room already! Highly recommend this manned air bnb. Hassle free checking in unlike most air bnbs without staff. They provide Yukata, towels, some tolietries daily. Free vitamin drink too the whole stay. The room has a balcony, clean all over, separate toilet & bath with toiletries, a washing machine, kitchen & cooking utensils, microwave & fridge with freezer.

Juri was so helpful throughout my stay. The female dorm is on the second floor, next to the private room. Quiet hours are respected by others who are staying at the hostel and the free washer and dryer was a lifesaver for a stay that is longer than 3 days. They provide earplugs, which I think is convenient if you share a bunk with someone who snores or if there is movement around the hostel in the middle of the night. The location is a bit of a walk from the closest train station but there are also nearby bus stops and a convenience stores along the way. I definitely recommend this place and most likely will stay here or try their other locations if I pass the area again. :)

The key was finding a place within walking distance of Hakata and Gion Station (about a 3-minute walk), a reasonable price that could accommodate four people, and a room with a toilet and shower. I was so happy to find a great place in a great location. Although the room and hallways were generally a bit dark, it wasn't a major issue. All the front desk staff were kind. They even left our luggage at the room for us in advance, which I appreciated :) However, if I had to mention a slight inconvenience, it was that there was no early check-in system. ㅠㅠ So, we had to wait inside the hotel and were only able to check in at exactly 3:00 PM. Other than that, it was a perfect hotel! If I go again, I will definitely book Bunsho.

Summary: don't stay here. You've been warned. I've been to many capsule hotels in Japan. None were as horribly bad and overpriced as this one. Good: close to the station and the staff do what they can within their (very confined) perceived limits Bad: no sound insulation so you get to enjoy ambient sounds like traffic, trains and other patrons scuffling about during nighttime. The mattress is moldy, dirty and super thin so it doesn't feel comfortable unless you're used to sleeping on a moldy floor. The layout makes absolutely no sense at all. They tried cramming in as many capsules as possible in one small area and called it a day. 2 toilet stalls for 62 capsules? Laughable. The bath area is minuscule so you're queueing just to get a cramped dip. Lockers are minuscule and the luggage area is right next to the reception so you have to cross public area just to get some stuff out of your luggage. No space to unpack in peace either. I'd rather have them drop the breakfast and bathing area in favour of fixing the one thing they're supposed to deliver: a good night's sleep. Consider this place a last resort, not a proper stay.

Large spacious rooms, conveniently located within walking distance to Canal City Hakata and the Yatai street. There's no staff on location but they are reachable via the check-in tablet and are very responsive. One night my door jammed and we called the staff past midnight to help fix it. They arrived within 15 mins and was very helpful. Rooms are clean but the mattress and pillow covers are hit and miss - there were dried stains on the ones in my parents room, and one of my rooms pillow cover had a few strands of hairs on it. Hence one point deducted for cleanliness. Overall would highly recommend for groups.

There was some dust in the dark areas, but the rest was quite clean. The main advantage was its convenient location.

I had a good stay at The OneFive Marine Fukuoka. The hotel is well located, with easy access to transportation and nearby areas. The room is small, but very clean and well organized, so it remains functional and comfortable for a short stay. The mattress is a bit firm, which may not suit everyone, but overall the room is quiet and practical. A solid option if you’re looking for a clean, efficient hotel in Fukuoka, especially for a solo trip.

Location is the best, near by subway, parks, and super markets. Beds are very comfortable. Full equipment that you need such as washing machine, kitchen, utensil. Room is quite old. The worst parts are toilet and shower room. At first night, the water stopped running. In the shower room, there were so many black spots. The second night, the toilet door was broken and couldn’t open, so we couldn’t use the toilet anymore. Toilet had bad small so we needed to open the window and it isn’t automatic toilet.
