"Extremely satisfied! The location is super convenient, right by the canal. The hotel's design is unique and the service is excellent. They offer a complimentary all-day buffet, so every time you come back to the hotel, you can grab a bite – it really makes you feel at home. The hygiene is also top-notch. "Stayed at the property for 2 nights, it was near to the Hakata Canal City with many restaurants and nightlife. An afternoon tea set is available once PER STAY. The room is also spacious and comes with an ironing board, a fan and even a light ring.Onsite parking is 2500 a day, park at the public carparks nearby at a lower rate.
Cons:
It is quite a walk from the train stations, especially during summer when the heat is crazy.
The room was extremely warm and lack ventilation, the air conditioner is only able to go down to 23 degrees. They provide a fan in the room, which shows they probably know the issue, appreciate the gesture but it still gets really warm in summer.
Also found a piece of plastic packaging on the floor when we checked in, but overall quite clean."

"It's truly rare to find such a spacious room in Japan! The hotel also has a public bath, which is perfect for relaxing. The hotel is about one subway stop from the core Tenjin business district, and it's also a 10-minute walk away. There's a subway station right below the hotel, as well as a supermarket. You can't get tax refunds there, but it's very convenient for shopping. There are also food stalls (yatai) around the hotel, making it easy to grab a drink and a late-night snack."

"I was given a room which had smoking odour. The bed smell like a bar. I requested to change the room after staying in for 2 hours and could not stand it. The staff assisted to change my room. The room is really small. We can't open two luggage at the same time. It is not really worth it to stay in this hotel at the price per night other than it's excellent location. They provide free sake for hotel guest for their welcome drink, see picture."

"The hotel's location is incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The nearby subway station offers direct access to Hakata Station and Kushida Shrine Mae Station. One evening, after a wonderful dinner at Daitouen, we enjoyed a leisurely walk back to the hotel, passing by Kushida Shrine, the Nakasu Yatai food stalls, and Canal City Hakata along the way.
There are several convenience stores and drugstores close to the hotel. Additionally, popular spots like Full Full Bakery and Fuk Coffee are just diagonally opposite the hotel.
We booked a Japanese-style room with a tatami area this time, which comfortably accommodated three of us without any issues.
Regarding housekeeping: a full cleaning service is provided on the 3rd, 6th, and 9th days of your stay. On other days, it's a light tidying-up, which includes replenishing water bottles and changing slippers. If you'd like a full cleaning on a non-scheduled day, simply inform the front desk before 10 AM.
All the hotel staff we encountered were very friendly and provided excellent service. Although the official check-in time is 3 PM, we were able to check in at 2:30 PM as our room was already prepared, which was a kind gesture.
The hotel also features a communal hot spring bath (onsen), and complimentary coffee and tea are available in the lobby. We were very satisfied with our stay overall!"

"The rooms here are considerably more spacious than what you'd typically find in Tokyo or Osaka. The bathroom features a convenient wet/dry separation, complete with both a bathtub and a shower. The hotel is located about 1 km from Hakata Station, and there's a complimentary shuttle service running daily until 11:30 AM, which gets you there in just 7 minutes. The Tenjin shopping district is also just over 1 km away. "The room wasn't overly spacious; while the twin beds could be pushed together, we could barely open our 28-inch suitcase by the wall due to limited space.
Location-wise, it's fantastic for subway users, with the station entrance right outside the hotel. However, for those focused on shopping, it's somewhat inconveniently situated between Hakata and Tenjin, meaning it's not truly close to either major shopping district.
That said, breakfast was absolutely delicious! The cute little bowls used for serving food were a charming touch, and it certainly put me in a great mood to start the day.
There's a free rooftop onsen (hot spring bath) available, but remember to bring your own swimwear.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel for first-time visitors to Fukuoka. For a maiden trip, most people would prefer to be closer to Hakata for its dining, sightseeing, and easy access to day trips, or near Tenjin for serious retail therapy. This spot is much better suited for returning visitors."

"I was in town for a concert. The city itself is quite small, so it's convenient to get anywhere. The hotel is located right next to Tenjin, a large commercial area. The department store next door, starting with 'P', has many Fukuoka delicacies, especially in the basement. Getting here from the airport is easy; the subway goes directly to Tenjin Station. Just look for exit 5, and there's a dedicated elevator that goes straight up to the hotel without even having to go above ground. The hotel lobby is absolutely stunning, and the rooms are quite spacious for a Japanese hotel. I'd definitely stay here again next time. Very satisfied!"

"This hotel is a 5-minute walk from Chuo-ku Subway Station. There's a Don Quijote and Matsumoto Kiyoshi nearby. While it's not as big as the Tenjin area, it's enough for general shopping. Ichiran Ramen is right in front of the hotel. It's about a 15-minute walk to Tenjin. You can pick up skincare products in the hotel lobby, and the rooms are clean with a separate wet/dry area. The room itself isn't small either, offering great value for money. They even gave a birthday gift at check-out."

JjojowumiThe hotel boasts a Japanese forest-themed decor. It's conveniently located between the Hakata and Tenjin shopping districts. Getting around is a breeze, with multiple subway entrances just a 2-3 minute walk away. Two different subway lines provide direct access to Hakata (Nanakuma Line) or Tenjin (Airport Line).
You can also opt to walk to both areas (Fukuoka isn't that big). It's a 15-minute walk to the Tenjin shopping area, or you can stroll to Canal City Hakata in 15 minutes (shopping is so-so, but there are plenty of dining options, and it gets crowded), then continue for another 10 minutes to the Hakata shopping district.
The Airport Line subway goes directly to Fukuoka Airport (for international flights, take a free shuttle bus from the domestic terminal). A taxi from the airport costs approximately 130 RMB and takes 20-25 minutes.
Room service keeps the rooms spotless and is very courteous.
The front desk staff are friendly during check-in, and check-out is self-service.
Right across from the hotel, a 1-minute walk away, there's a shopping mall (which also houses the Anpanman Children's Museum).
You'll find Don Quijote Nakasu just a 1-minute walk away.
The 24-hour Ichiran Ramen main store is a 3-minute walk (go during off-peak hours as it gets very busy).
There are many small convenience stores within a 3-5 minute walk.
Aeon Supermarket is a 10-minute walk and has McDonald's and KFC, which could be good options for breakfast.

BBixiniyiwaHighly recommend! I was debating between a few hotels, but choosing this one was definitely the right decision 👍. The service was excellent; the front desk staff always greeted us warmly. The best part, though, is the location! It's fantastic! Super close to the Hakata Ramen Street, with all sorts of restaurants nearby, and Yodobashi Camera is also in the vicinity. Plus, for those transferring to different parts of Kyushu, it's less than a 5-minute walk from the hotel to Hakata Station – absolutely brilliant! The only minor drawback, if I had to name one, is that it gets a bit dark at night, but I guess that's common for Japanese hotels.

LLynn hkSecluded high end hotel by the Fukuoka pier away from the city which most guests arrived by driving their own rental car. Both service and hotel premise are outstanding. They got well trained service oriented staff helped guests with sending their luggages to their room, and showed guests their room and made guests feel like a vip. They also got complimentary free flow of alcohols and snacks serving from 3-5pm and 8-11pm (with ramen serving at 10pm) at the lobby cafe which we appreciated and also enjoyed a lot. We attended these complimentary drink and snack outings mostly by ourselves alone without other guests.. However, there is some room to improve in terms of cleanliness in housekeeping as I found a piece of hair in the bed and some food on floor along with a receipt left by the previous guest which is not acceptable for this sort of high end hotel. I also requested for a room away from the noise and given that they only got 10-15 parties checked in last night with 5 floors, staff has assigned us to a room next to another party and we could hear the couple arguing at night when we opened the balcony door. Having said that we still found this hotel lovely as we appreciate the warmness of all the welcoming staff from the check in, the bonfire event from 8-10pm and all the lobby cafe staff throughout the whole stay. The room, the beds and amenities are all excellent.. I will recommend this hotel to friends in off peak seasons esp in a good discounted price.

It's also very convenient to take the bus to Kumamoto, and there are many dining options within the hotel building itself. However, I'm not sure if it's the rooms Ctrip assigns, but both times I stayed (three days each), the rooms were quite bad. The first time, I was in the furthest corner with a view of rooftop facilities. When checking out, I left a note hoping for a room closer to the elevator next time. The second time, I was a bit closer to the elevator, but the view out the window was even worse – a concrete and glass wall!

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is excellent. It is linked to an exit of the Hakata metro station. The hotel is comfortable and clean. The bathtub is large enough. The breakfast is very good. We enjoy the stay very much and will definitely stay at the hotel again when we come to Fukuoka next time.

GGuest UserThe location is easily accessible, and the lobby looked like a museum. Parking us 1500 yen/ night. However, one of our rooms’ (twin bed room) shower curtain smelled like urine, and it was so bad that it affected the entire room. I had to keep the toilet room closed all the time.
The 3 people room was so great, spacious and bathroom/ toilet were separated.
The staff was friendly.

TTiejungeThe room felt a bit dated, and the mattress was too soft for my preference. Only one complimentary bottle of water was provided. However, the hot springs were excellent, and they even offered unlimited Yakult to drink. Breakfast was decent, offering a good variety of options. The service was very good, and the hotel's location is superb, providing convenient access to transportation.

GGuest UserThis is always my go-to hotel whenever I visit Fukuoka; it's become a habit due to its excellent value for money. On the 14th floor, there's a spacious indoor and outdoor public bath, along with complimentary coffee and drinks. The rooms are spotless, and while they're a bit compact – as Japanese hotel rooms generally are – they're perfectly fine. After a day of exploring, coming back to the hotel in the evening to soak in the bath and enjoy a drink is incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The breakfast spread is also quite good; although it's not quite up to its previous standard, it's still enjoyable. I truly love this place and will absolutely choose to stay here again on my next trip.
