A reasonably priced inn about 200 m from Lake Yamanaka, with a view of Mt. Fuji

"A bit far from the city center, but it's very peaceful and quiet, plus there's a large public bath for soaking. The environment is also extremely clean, and both the host and hostess are very hospitable. It's also very close to Shiratori Beach. Just remember to buy water or food at a convenience store before you arrive, otherwise the nearest one is about 1.5 kilometers away. The room itself is very traditional Japanese style and kept exceptionally clean."

A very cozy and comfortable stay with an excellent location. You can see Mount Fuji right outside the door. The owner was very enthusiastic, offering tips on how to get great photos of Mount Fuji at different times of the day. Upon checkout, guests even received a set of beautiful Mount Fuji photos taken by the owner.

This stay in Lodge Stack Point is really a very unforgettable experience! Must give a full five-star praise ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ First of all, what impressed me most was that the boss here was a very warm and kind couple. Since we first arrived, they were very enthusiastic about receiving, not only introducing the surrounding environment in detail, but also patiently recommending delicious restaurants and fun places to us, making people feel at home. The room is also very clean and tidy, the layout is warm and comfortable, the details are very good, you can see that they are operating this hotel with care. Whether it is the bed or the overall environment, it makes people live very relaxed and at ease. In addition, the whole accommodation atmosphere is also very good, quiet and comfortable, very suitable for relaxation and vacation. If you have any problems, you can ask the boss to help solve them, which really makes people feel very intimate. Overall, this is a humane hotel, not only accommodation, but more like a warm experience. Welcome to share your experience and story together, if you come back next time, you will definitely choose here! Highly recommend to everyone 👍

This is our second time staying at this hotel, and once again, we are absolutely thrilled! The location is a perfect 10 out of 10, with the bus and train stations literally just across the street. There are 7-Eleven and Lawson convenience stores nearby, a bank next door offering a great currency exchange rate, and plenty of souvenir shops and cozy restaurants around. As for the rooms, they offer the perfect value for money. Staying in a traditional Japanese-style room with a direct view of Mount Fuji is the best thing you could ever dream of! The hotel also features a wonderful onsen, which also looks out at the mountain. Everything is beautifully clean and well-maintained. The staff is incredibly polite and helpful. On the day we were supposed to check out, a typhoon was approaching, and our bus got rescheduled. The staff kindly offered us to stay and wait out the storm in a special recreation room with a TV and a ping-pong table, so we wouldn’t freeze outside in the rain. It was so incredibly sweet of them! Special thanks to the team for such amazing care! We will definitely come back again.

Even though it's a ryokan-style hotel, the private room was quite large and spacious. It had its own bathroom and sink inside the room. The bedding was a futon on the floor, and yukata robes were provided. The shared bathrooms, separated by gender, were outside the room. They were large enough for 3-4 people to shower at once and could be locked. There was also a large soaking tub in the bathroom. But the view of Mount Fuji? Absolutely unbeatable! Especially in the morning with the golden light, Fuji-san looked incredibly beautiful.

The hotel offers a beautiful lakeside view directly in front of Lake Shoji, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere throughout the stay. Although the property is quite old, it is well maintained and full of charming vintage Japanese character. The service was warm and attentive, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The location is especially convenient for travelers driving around the Fuji area, with easy access and a comfortable overall experience. We also reserved a private onsen for bathing, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Please note that the room itself did not include a shower — only a toilet — but this matched the traditional Japanese-style ryokan experience. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for travelers seeking an authentic, nostalgic Japanese atmosphere with beautiful scenery and genuine hospitality.

My stay at K’s House was pleasant overall. The staff were very friendly and helpful—they even took the time to give me tips and guidance on bus routes around Lake Yamanakako, which I really appreciated. The bunk beds were comfortable and well-designed, with convenient plug points provided, making it easy to charge devices. The facilities, including the toilets, were clean and well maintained. The only downside is the location—it’s about a 20-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station, which can feel a bit far, especially with luggage. Additionally, there is only one bathroom per floor, which might be slightly inconvenient during busy times. That said, I still had a good experience here and would recommend it for a comfortable stay with helpful staff.

The hotel is run by an elderly gentlemen, so we couldn’t reach him by e-mail when we wanted to send there our luggage, so we had to send it directly to our next location. The hotel itself is in a rather old building, so it doubtfully will be up to the most comfort-loving travelers‘ taste, but it was clean and neat, and the view from the room was amazing 😍 On the down part, since the building was old, as soon as more lodgers arrived there came a stinking smell from the bathroom with was rather unpleasant. Also I’d suggest bringing your own slippers, since the lodgers are required to take off their shoes right from the threshold as in the most traditional Japanese houses, so if you have issues with wearing slippers worn by anybody else before you, take your own. The futon beds were very comfy, however the blanket was rather hot for the weather (we went in April). All in all, you get all the most necessary things like toothbrushes, bathrobes, towels. For its price it’s very nice :) And the location is 25 min walk from Kawaguchiko station, and the walk is very nice with view of Fuji-san from many streets.

Room type: Small European style hotel, there are tatami rooms in the room, some rooms have open-air or private style, and there are also loans and cut-out styles (chartered styles). [ • Landscape: Many guests like ”Sitting in the living room and seeing Mount Fuji”, the scenery outside the window is very good, suitable for punching in and relaxing. • New and old equipment: the appearance of the building and the room are slightly old. Some passengers mentioned that the wallpaper cracks and the bathroom is slightly old, but the room is large and clean, and the equipment is complete. • Note: There are many stairs, which is not suitable for people with mobility problems or pushing a lot of luggage.

The location is first-rate, with Fuji and Yamanakako Mountain outside the window. The environment, service, and accommodation are all fine. The only problem is that the room only has a wash basin and mirror (only cold water, and the temperature outside was about 14 degrees on the day of the stay). There is no toilet or bathroom. Everything is shared. The toilet is shared by the floor (basement and 2nd floor), and the bathroom is shared in the underground hot spring area. There are only 2 showers for men. The main problem is that there is no reminder during the ordering process that the toilet and bathroom are shared. If it was written, I think we would not order this store. But the accommodation, environment, landscape, and service are all fine. The following picture is a screenshot of the public facilities I checked again to see if there is a note, the store, breakfast, and the exterior of Mount Fuji and the lake

From the room, you can see Mount Fuji. It is very fast to go to the shore of Hirano. If you want to see the morning sunshine in Jinshan, you can open the curtains to see the clarity of Mount Fuji today and then decide whether to go downstairs. There is a private bathroom in the room. The room is large and the hotel is not new overall. You have to carry your luggage upstairs without elevator. It takes7-8 minutes to drag your luggage from Hirano bus station to the hotel.
