"This hotel is located right by Lake Yamanaka. You can see Mount Fuji across the street from the entrance, and the hotel also offers bicycle rentals. It's about a 10-minute bike ride to Hirano Beach. Getting here is convenient; you can take a direct bus from Tokyo to Yamanakako Asahigaoka Station, and the hotel owner even provides pick-up service from nearby stations around Lake Yamanaka. The hotel has an old-fashioned inn feel, but it's very clean, and the rooms are incredibly spacious! It was very quiet at night, so I slept really well overall. The breakfast was also excellent – what could be better than a hot breakfast after watching the sunrise on a cold morning?"

"A hidden gem of a hotel with spectacular views of Mount Fuji! I booked a random room just a week before Golden Week, and upon entering, I was immediately struck by how spacious and bright it was. The room itself was also very roomy and incredibly clean. Both of their hot springs offer direct, panoramic views of Mount Fuji! The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the breakfast restaurant started my day off beautifully. It happened to be Children's Day in Japan, and the hotel thoughtfully provided games and movies for the kids. I was very satisfied with this stay. I highly recommend staying two or three nights – it's truly rejuvenating."

"We just passed two great nights in this lovely hotel in the heart of Mount Fuji. I highly recommend coming here, specially if you love Vietnamese food like me haha. The rooms are big with a good size balcony (unusual in Japan) the amenities are excellent, the bath is big and very functional and the staff is very nice The location is perfect with just 14 minutes walking from the station and just 10 minutes away from a big shopping mall, supermarkets at just 4 minutes and obviously Mount Fuji just in front of you, everybody wants to wake up with Fuji-San and a coffee. Also very family friendly from what I saw with multiple families with kids."

"I really liked the hotel overall 1. The staff was very nice and knew some english so conversation was possible. Fast response times in chat is good service 2. Breakfast was really good 3. Location is very good, got bus stops around the hotel and you can use google maps to know which buses to take, when they come. I used suica card on apple wallet or on app on the scanner when boarding the bus to get around. The bus which is like 5 minutes walk can take you to lake kawaguchiko, gotemba premium outlets, and more. You also got lawson within 4 minutes walk which is a pretty cool convenience store that also has things like katsu sandwiches and cheeseburgers for snacks, ogino a grocery store within 6 min walk, and some other soup restaurants like udon and hoto noodles 4. Close to the lake pier which is great for biking around Lake Yamanaka which was probably my favorite part of visiting besides the local food it is what I would say life changingly beautiful 5. The onsen which is inside the hotel was very relaxing and nice, and you can put cold water into it if its too hot Now i haven't been to other hotels around the area so I cant compare but I would definitely come again"

"Shuttle was super convenient and staff was amazing. I would definitely stay here again if I were to come back. Breakfast was delicious. Make sure you book and include breakfast with your stay. Most places were a tad far walking. And some places opened after 11am Id give service and staff 5/5 they made us feel welcomed and were so kind and professional. Room had a decent size to it. Bed was comfortable Picture shown here was at the Lobby rest area. We were able to get a glimpse of Mount Fuji on the morning we were checking out."

"Really like this hotel. Free shuttle from Kawaguchiko St. just follow the schedule provided at the lobby. Room size was quite large & view was fascinating. Breakfast was buffet style & quite delicious especially egg & spinach soup. Hospitality was top notch from check in/checkout counter, housekeeping, buffet & shuttle bus. I would like to recommend this hotel if you are coming to Kawaguchiko."

We specifically booked a Fuji View room on the 4th floor, and from the very first moment we entered, we knew we had made the perfect choice. Our journey to the hotel was smooth. After arriving at Kawaguchiko Station in the late afternoon, we took a short taxi ride through the charming streets lined with cherry blossom remnants and fresh spring greenery. The hotel’s exterior already hinted at traditional Japanese elegance mixed with modern comfort — a beautiful ryokan-style building nestled in a peaceful area with excellent access to the lake and mountain views. Upon check-in, the staff greeted us warmly with genuine smiles and a small welcome gift of local tea. They took the time to explain the facilities, meal times, and onsen rules in clear English, which was greatly appreciated as we were international visitors. The entire process felt personal and unhurried, setting a relaxing tone for our short stay. Stepping into our 4F Fuji View room was breathtaking. The room was generously spacious for a couple, featuring a harmonious blend of traditional Japanese and comfortable Western elements. Elegant tatami mats covered part of the floor, inviting us to sit and relax in the classic seiza style or simply lounge with cushions. The sleeping area had a high-quality Western-style bed setup that was firm yet plush, ensuring a restful night. Large picture windows dominated one entire wall, framing an almost surreal, unobstructed panorama of Mount Fuji. On May 26, the weather cooperated beautifully. As the late afternoon sun began to soften, we watched the iconic snow-capped peak glow in warm golden light. The mountain stood majestic against a clear blue sky, its details crisp and vivid. We spent nearly an hour just sitting by the window, holding hands, and absorbing the view in comfortable silence. As evening approached, the colors shifted dramatically — pinks and oranges painted the sky during a stunning sunset, turning Fuji into a silhouette masterpiece. Later at night, with the room lights dimmed, we could still see the mountain’s outline under the stars, creating an incredibly romantic atmosphere that felt almost private to us alone. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the private open-air bath (rotenburo) attached to our room. This luxurious feature made our couple’s experience truly special. The bath was filled with silky, mineral-rich onsen water that felt incredibly soothing on the skin after a day of travel. We took turns soaking together while gazing directly at Mount Fuji. There’s something profoundly intimate and unforgettable about sharing a hot spring bath outdoors with your loved one, surrounded by nature and that legendary mountain view. The variety of indoor and outdoor pools, along with different jet options, provided a complete onsen experience that complemented our private bath perfectly. "The room comes with fantastic mount fuji view. Room is big and clean. Breakfast was great too. The only downside is that their heater seems like not performing well but luckily their blanket is thick enough to keep you warm."
