GGuest UserGreat location, friendly staff. Although the elevator didn’t work and I had to carry two large suitcases up to the 5th floor, it was a struggle. However, because it was a great spot, the rooms were great, I would recommend.

SSuiyongThe hostel is located at Nord Amsterdam when you arrive Amsterdam Central station follow the sign ferry look for Station pier:Buikslotoweg across to other side when you get off pier turn left walk across to the bridge then turn right and approximately 200 metres then you arrive the hostel.banquet is clean no hair dryer only shampoo no towel have to rent 6 euro I have stay for 4nights in 6 mixed dorm,baht room inside.just behind there is Albert heijin supermarket. Note across the river by ship is free of charge

GGuest UserNice to stay for basics bed and good location. Hotel was kept clean and fresh towels daily. Down side double room was just two single beds pushed together which kept sliding a part causing back ache at times. Tea/coffee making facilities machine is free. Vending machines are pricey. Overall, I would stay again but I know what I am now getting for my money.

AAlexius808We stayed at Trianon Hotel for a couple of nights and were generally satisfied, considering its budget price.
Pros:
The location is fantastic — right in the heart of Amsterdam, directly opposite the Van Gogh Museum, perfect for art lovers and city explorers. The view from the window is stunning, especially from higher floors. Check-in at 2:00 PM was quick and hassle-free, with friendly staff.
Cons:
There are some drawbacks. The hot water pressure in the shower was weak, which was a bit annoying. The carpet in the room looked somewhat dirty, which affected the overall impression. The coffee machine in the lobby charges even for hot water, and there’s no kettle in the room, which is inconvenient for those who like to make tea or coffee.
Overall:
Trianon Hotel is a great budget option for those looking to stay affordably in central Amsterdam. For the price, it’s a decent choice for a short stay, especially if you plan to spend most of your time exploring the city.

XXinglinccTraveling through Europe by motorcycle! Passing through this area, I stayed for two nights!
The hotel location was okay, and the price was okay. The only downside was that I was put in a basement room with only a skylight, but it wasn't too bad since I wasn't in the room for long!
The hotel staff seemed to be Chinese, and communication in English was seamless. They were able to answer all my questions, which was great!
Cleanliness was okay! Room size was okay! The price was reasonable, suitable for solo travelers! The soundproofing was so-so, but that's understandable given it's an old building!

To enter the hotel, you have to go to the reception of the hotel next door and have them open the door for you, which is a bit of a hassle, but the location is good and the room is just up the stairs, so overall it is convenient.
The toilet and shower are shared outside the room, but there is a sink in the room.

GGuest UserVery small room, reminded me of the Apple Dorm in Hong Kong. It says double room but can only sleep one person.
Staff were quick and kinda cold. Not really a warm experience.
24/7 check in/out no problem.

LLizzi BrownThe hostel is in a good location out of the centre, it's an easy tram ride in to Centraal with very frequent trams.
You get what you pay for, it's cheap and cheerful but very good value for budget accomodation just a short trip from Amsterdam city centre.
The beds were very comfortable, the room was larger than expected and very airy as we were in an attic room and all the windows opened.
The stairs were a bit treacherous, very steep and winding but a nice feature of an old traditional building.
The showers and facilities were fine, kept clean by other travellers and staff and the kitchen was fine too.
I would definitely stay here again for cheap, reasonable accommodation.
