LiahhhThe hostel location is good, the people there is friendly. The receptionist they are nice people, I choose the female dormitory there were 20 beds inside there is also a toilet there inside. The lobby is a little small, there’s no kitchen where u can cook ya know but I HAD A NICE 2 nights stay! The tram is just like 1min walk away. The only thing i didn’t like that u need to do your bed like u are the one who’s gonna put your bedsheet cover, pillow and comforter cover. But overall everything is ok! I felt safe as a solo female traveler. There’s a 3 toilet and 2 shower also, I don’t even feel that I was sharing the bathroom with some people hehe thank you!

The location is about a 10–15 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. The check-in desk is located deep inside a bar, which makes it a bit difficult to find. There is no elevator, so guests with heavy luggage should be careful, as carrying bags up the stairs can be inconvenient and unsafe

QiangguolangThis is a large international chain hotel with excellent facilities, good hygiene, a top-notch environment, and standardized service. The hotel is located across the water from Central Station, and there's a free ferry service available 24/7. The pier and the view of the water are beautiful, and crossing the sea every day adds a unique charm to the experience.

Guest UserI stayed two nights instead of one due to the holiday altering at the last minute. First room was comfortable if the decor was a little tatty with age. Only complaint really is lack of space in the en-suite but shower was good and all private facilities is very good rather than sharing something larger.
The second room was better decorated and had the same facilities as the first including a safe which is excellent. No in room drinks but free use of drinks dispenser at reception which was handy enough and made a refreshing drink. I didn’t miss the lack of meals as they offered a 10% discount at the Argentine restaurant on the ground floor - so far I haven’t had occasion to try it.
As other reviews point out the stairs are steep and I personally wouldn’t want to be any higher than the first floor just because of the struggle to get a case up and down.
Having changed rooms reception staff were very friendly and helpful I felt that my luggage was safe with them while the second room was prepared.
While I was there the temperature outside was in the mid to high 20s but both rooms were fine with the air conditioning working fine contrary to other reports
All in all I was very happy with my stay and plan to rebook for my return journey home with it being very handy for Eurostar.

Guest UserThe hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Amsterdam, just a few meters from Central Station. You'll find plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars nearby. I really enjoyed the canal view, and the room was clean. It's a great option, I'd definitely stay again!

Guest UserThe staff was lovely, the location was ok about 30 mins walk to Amsterdam Central but the tram goes there and is cheap only 10 euros in 24 hrs. Tv was not working but I didn't watch TV So it didn't bother me, The room is clean but basic it had a shower and toilet which was clean. I didn't use room service. Generally we had a good experience the hairdryer was not very hot so took a long time todry.

Guest UserI was a bit worried after booking this hotel due to the bad reviews I saw but honestly my experience was absolutely fine. The room and bed was clean. It was quiet and the location was excellent. I was able to walk to everything but there’s a metro right outside too. The bed was comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful

Guest UserThe location is spectacular, and the room itself was fine.
The downsides: As I'd seen in other comments, the stairs are very steep. The room they gave me didn't have a double bed; it was two small beds pushed together, which was a bit uncomfortable for a couple. Also, the noise from outside is very loud. I was able to sleep, but if you're someone who struggles to fall asleep, I wouldn't recommend it because you can hear everything, and there are kids screaming outside at all hours of the night.
The hotel reception was good.

The location is good, quite close to Amsterdam station and the city center.
To enter the hotel, you have to go to the reception of the hotel next door and have them open the door for you, which is a bit of a hassle, but the location is good and the room is just up the stairs, so overall it is convenient.
The toilet and shower are shared outside the room, but there is a sink in the room.

Lizzi BrownThe hostel is in a good location out of the centre, it's an easy tram ride in to Centraal with very frequent trams.
You get what you pay for, it's cheap and cheerful but very good value for budget accomodation just a short trip from Amsterdam city centre.
The beds were very comfortable, the room was larger than expected and very airy as we were in an attic room and all the windows opened.
The stairs were a bit treacherous, very steep and winding but a nice feature of an old traditional building.
The showers and facilities were fine, kept clean by other travellers and staff and the kitchen was fine too.
I would definitely stay here again for cheap, reasonable accommodation.
