Amazing
KKakakaka1111I spent a long time choosing a hotel before coming to the Netherlands. Hotels in Amsterdam are really expensive! Much more expensive than other cities in Europe... In the end, I gritted my teeth and booked the InterContinental, and stayed for eight days. It's really good, very close to the subway station, and there is a big supermarket half a stop away for supplies. Trams to several important attractions also stop at the door. Be sure to book a canal view room, although it's a little more expensive, but the view outside the window is really great! The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic and gave me a map. She carefully took the map and helped me explain the main attractions.
HHarryXZObviously, the price is expensive, which is four times higher than that in Shanghai.
It is definitely not comparable to Bulgari and J in Shanghai. Not every room has a bathtub.
So, the lower the expectations, the less disappointment. However, the hotel breakfast is a feature, and you can enjoy the local culture slowly.
I took some photos for your reference

Great
EEdwardxinchenOverall, this stay was just average! The hotel boasts a fantastic view, and the surrounding area is convenient for dining and shopping. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the window offered a wide view. The front desk staff were reasonably friendly and recommended nearby attractions. The breakfast had a good variety of options and was decent in taste.
GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay thanks to the hotel’s exceptionally attentive service. The front desk responded incredibly quickly, delivering luggage and a toothbrush in no time. When I picked up my stored bags, it was raining outside, yet the front desk staff still helped carry my luggage downstairs and loaded it into the car. Their efficiency, thoughtfulness, and dedication truly went above and beyond. Highly recommended!

Very Good
JJunieWhile the hotel itself is very new and modern, the actual building itself is shared with the Moxy (undisclosed) and the housekeeping department does little more than make the bed and replace towels. The floors, fridge and microwave were filthy, the couch had stains, there were cobwebs on the ceiling, exposed nails, and 3 lightbulbs were dead, leaving the room very dim.
AAnonymous UserFor a W hotel, the experience was not as good as it is in other locations
The location is ok , but the tram passing by and the noisy bars might be noisy especially when you are on lower floors
The room is OK , nothing really special about it, and feel soulless with kitchy decorations and wall paintings
Breakfast is not bad as well
Cleaning is ok but i found a silverfish on the room… not to mention as well that some amenities are not replaced if used… unless ordered
Most of the staff were really helpful and nice , except a very rude one on the bank checkin counter that should change jobs if it’s annoying her that much
The pool , spa and lounge and gym are really amazing but unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy them as much as we wanted because of the weather and time constraints
Overall , i would say it’s a good value for money but there are better options in Amsterdam!
GGuest UserI stayed here for my birthday and had the most amazing time. The massage was absolutely mind-blowing and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. Breakfast was great with plenty of options, and the location was perfect – there’s a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you straight into the city centre, making it so easy to get around. The rooms were spotless with a beautiful view, and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. It made my birthday feel really special and I would definitely stay here again
GGuest UserThe hotel features a truly distinctive design and decor, housed in a charming, vintage-style building. It's well worth experiencing. Breakfast was quite good, and the dining area offered lovely views. It offers good value for money. Do note that getting to the train station requires walking.
GGuest UserGreat spa hotel to do some relaxation. They have luxurious wellness facilities such as various saunas with infusions, swimming pools and a restaurant where you can have a delicious lunch/dinner. Ejoyed the accompanied breakfast with a good range of selection.
LLetsi NThe location of this hotel was great. The staff were very efficient in helping us with whatever we needed. We booked a room for three people last minute and we were pleasantly surprised with the excellent service considering that it was one of the more reasonable hotels around and so close to the city centre. Great place and great staff. I will definitely be adding this hotel to my favourite's list.
