Amsterdam Hotels with Parking

Although the hotel is not in the city center, it's only two stops from Central Station, and just a 2-minute walk from Noord Station, which is very convenient and offers great value for money. The hotel interior is quite new and clean, but the shower water pressure is a bit low. The hotel breakfast is very generous, and since there aren't many breakfast options nearby, it's worth adding on.

Holding to stay away from city center is a brilliant idea. This business area is clean and very near to bus stop , train station and tram station. The Albert Heijn XL inside a neighborhood mall is just 14 mins walk away. Breakfast spread is awesome. I would highly recommend even for tourists to stay here , as it isn’t a must to stay at the central which is crowded and overall dirtier and noisier. Everything is just a tram away, and there is a day cap or a day ticket for transport, so why not. Of course downside is that commuting around also takes time .

The hotel is conveniently located about an 8-minute walk from the National Museum, and there's also a large Albert Heijn supermarket within an 8-minute walk. The canal view from the window, with boats, blue sky, and white clouds, was very pleasant. However, the room air conditioning was quite cold; the highest setting was 22 degrees Celsius, and it couldn't be turned off or adjusted higher. Even when 'off' was selected, it still ran. The room itself was relatively clean. The coffee capsules were a nice touch. The shower was good, but the handle holder was broken, and we didn't bother to report it for repair. The room TV only had three or four channels, but it was sufficient for watching shows. The breakfast was very rich and enjoyable. A taxi to the airport cost around 33 Euros. The hotel's location is great; you can walk from the hotel towards the museum all the way to Central Station. The front desk staff were all very polite. There were also jelly sweets at the front desk, which was fun. Check-in time was 3 PM, and we arrived early and waited an hour. Check-out was very strict, exactly at 12 PM. The hotel was fully booked on our check-out day, so we couldn't extend. The extension policy was 18 Euros per hour. Renting an umbrella from the hotel cost money. Overall, it was a good stay.

The drain in our bathroom was clogged on the first night we checked in. The receptionist could not resolve the issue, and there were no extra rooms available, so we ended up not being able to shower that night. The receptionist told us that maintenance would be at the hotel at 8am, so we couldn't really sleep properly either, as we were worried that maintenance might come anytime. The next morning, the whole toilet was flooded and even using the toilet became an issue. It reached 10am and there was still no one coming, so we went down to the front desk again to report the issue. From our experience, it really looked like there was zero handover between the night and morning shift. The front desk staff who took over in the morning looked like she had no idea about what had happened at all. On top of that, she was quite rude and seemed to be trying to dismiss the issue, which made the situation even more frustrating. To make sure that we would at least have a clean and usable room when we came back at night, we made sure to send an email to the hotel about the issue as well, so that everything was in black and white. At that point, we were genuinely prepared to change hotels if the situation was not resolved. Thankfully, shortly after, the maintenance staff came together with housekeeping and helped to resolve the entire situation. We were extremely grateful because both the maintenance and housekeeping staff were genuinely nice and helpful, which really helped to minimise the frustration we had experienced the previous night. They also provided us with some gifts as an apology, which made the overall experience better. One other thing to note is that there were no bedroom slippers or proper toiletries provided. There was no shampoo or body wash, but there were two bottles of hand wash instead, which was quite confusing. We weren't sure if this was intentional or if the proper toiletries were simply missing.

This is a pretty standard luxury hotel, with no major issues. There's a mini-fridge, but it's not cold enough and doesn't come stocked with anything. However, the umbrella is a high-end carbon fiber one, which is quite rare and a nice touch. The bathroom drain had a bit of a problem, probably a clog from hair that needs to be cleaned promptly. My biggest issue, though, was the front desk – they were incredibly slow! Especially during check-out. I've never seen a hotel where you have to wait in line one by one; usually, you just leave your room card and go.

This hotel is a great value, especially compared to the expensive options near Amsterdam Centraal. It's super close to Sloterdijk Station, and if you have a Eurail Pass, the train ride is free! The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, with excellent ventilation and natural light. Breakfast, while not a huge variety, was very good quality. I'd suggest adding conditioner to the amenities. On the downside, the front desk staff seemed a bit stiff, and a housekeeper knocked on my door early on checkout day, which was disruptive. I hope they can improve their service.

At this hotel, Kennis at the front desk was the only one who was the most warm and polite 👍🏽 He was very kind to my daughter, and for two days in a row, no matter how busy he was, he would immediately stop what he was doing, rush into the staff room, and bring a little gift back for my daughter. There are many hotels here that don’t include free parking, and some are said to include it on travel sites, but after reading the reviews, it turns out there’s actually a parking fee. I’ve already done all my research, and even trip.com clearly says this Holiday Inn includes free parking. At check-in, I was told there would be a charge, but another staff member said it was free. Then at check-out, they suddenly said there would be a charge again, but in the end it was free. It was quite confusing. I also didn’t feel very safe. While I was asleep, it was very noisy outside the room. It sounded like people coming back after drinking, repeatedly pressing our doorbell and trying the handle to open the door. Luckily, I had the door double-locked and had also pushed a chair against it. The hotel explained that they may have pressed the wrong room by mistake and were not trying to get in to steal anything 🤔 Free breakfast at the hotel, but it was absolutely packed! The cutlery was really dirty, and I reckon they couldn’t get it washed in time. Also, they didn’t check any guest details at all, so it felt like people from the street next door could just walk in and eat without anyone noticing. There are food markets and budget supermarkets next to the hotel. A free ferry to and from the city centre is about a 10-minute walk away, with frequent services and a journey time of around 2 minutes.的

We e-mailed them to ask if we could add an extra bed in the room and they said yes (obviously for a fee). When we arrived they forgot about this but when I reminded them and they saw the bank transfer they said it would have still been possible to add the extra bed. Beside this, location was perfect and the room was clean. A bit small but it’s fair for the price. Also deposit is 100€.

It's near the station, but it needs a long way to go to the center. In the kitchen it was tea and coffee, soap for washing the dishes, sponge. Fridge, microwave. No hairdryer. The floor was not clean. Parking

There were some inconveniences, like the electricity not working at times and the shower door being incomplete, causing water to spill out. I was told there would be a hairdryer in the room, but there wasn't one. On the positive side, the staff were kind and helpful.
